Agreed with the Batman Returns > Batman 89. Hands down Returns is the best movie of the first major franchise of Batman movies. As for Sin City.. it's okay.. I mostly like it for it's style though. 300, I hated. That movie can fuck right off.

Overrated in what sense? It's not my number one favourite, but it is a pretty revolutionary piece of animation for it's time. I think the story just has this very epic feel to it, and the acting (Japanese) is just top-notch when it comes to voiceover work, it actually rivals a lot of live action performances. Plus, tons of people have cited it as their inspiration for other works that were hugely successful (movies, books, etc). Oh, and here's my list of comic flix: 1. ICHI the Killer 2. Batman Begins 3. Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis 4. Hellboy 5. Katsuhiro Otomo's AKIRA 6. Spider-man 7. Oldboy 8. Sin City 9. The Crow 10. Death Note (it's a two-parter, but it helps to think of them as one long movie)

The problem with this method of "training" is that cats are "in the moment" animals. As in, you have to punish it WHILE it's doing what you don't like, not five minutes or five hours after the fact. Usually a squirt with a water bottle or a loud "NO!" will do the trick - no need for physicality. What you did is just going to confuse the hell out of him and make him think that he probably shouldn't go around you at all. I've been pretty lucky with mine. He's loud and fucking annoying sometimes when he won't shut up.. but he's never destroyed anything. No wires, no furnature, nothing.

Also, I don't know what ideas your sister has about healthcare up here.. but it ain't "free" like so many others like to think or have you believe (*cough*Michael Moore*cough*). She will pay for it. *money motion with fingers* *The finger thing means the taxes... ;P

I like this one. It falls in line with the "giant mutated whale" thing that was posted a while ago. How? It doesn't look whale-like. The "mouth" area does. To me it kind of looks like a really fucked up Minke whale.. (mouth open of course).

I wonder how much further this show can go. Like, is this the final season or are there plans for a 4th?

If it were a draw or a schmozz ending, I could see them joining forces as heels. I don't mean as a couple, either. Also, I don't think making Angle weak is a bad thing at this point. Anything that lessens his value and eventually gets him off TV is a-ok in my book.

Ditto. Kong is easily one of the most entertaining workers in TNA right now. IMO, at least. I know a lot of people fault Lance Storm for bitching about their booking in the past, "as if he could do any better", but I can totally see where he's coming from. TNA has/had the chance to be a real alternative to the WWE and something special, but they keep squandering their opportunity away on trying to be WWELite instead. I'd actually like to see TNA get fed up with Lance's criticisms and give him the book for a few months just to see how he'd do.

I doubt you'll find it to rent at any big stores. Your best bet are those one shot shops. That said you could also probably download it to check it out. In the end the DVD is only $20 to buy.

This sounds interesting. Oh it is. It's fucking great, actually. Everything from the screen effects to the music, the makeup and the animatronics makes it feel like this is an actual 20's era silent film.

My question is, is why did it take over a year for them to sue? I mean, assuming they're in the business, they'd have heard of the Wii before.
