Angle & Hebner for sure.. But was Booker fired? I can't remember. Tomko apparently left on good terms, though.

Reach for the stars, Australia. Reach for the stars.

Christ, you don't know the half of it. Some peeps are cool over there, but a LOT of them are total dickwads.

Did anyone else notice that Hogan's hair coming out of his bandana looked really fake? Like extensions or something.. I wonder if he's taking tips from Paris now?

Wait! How come you damn European's get KOF94?!

My favourite part of the show tonight was Jericho saying that he's glad he had the time off because he was feeling burned out and "mentally fried" ...uh Yeah, that was bad. Good thing he didn't cut that promo in front of an ROH crowd. Those fans would totally jumped that the guardrail and showed Jericho and everybody else in the business how to really put someone over Not sure where you were going with that but what I meant was, the first thing that popped into my head when he said "mentally fried" was Chris Benoit.

Cool. I wonder who'll be voicing Bats in those shorts. I hope Kevin Conroy lands one of them.

I have to chime in that IMO having Jim Cornette, of all people, as the "figurehead" this promotion only adds to the cheesyness that comes across. Anyone else agree? I think this entire fed needs an overhaul of their on-screen "staff" from the announcers to figureheads and backstage interviewers.

I'll give you halfway on that. Both movies were actually takes on the story "Who Goes There" by JW Campbell Jr. Carpenter's movie wasn't intended as a remake of 1951's "The Thing From Another World" but rather a more faitful adapation of the original story. I guess in the end it doesn't matter if it's being "remade" since it could just be another take on the original story. I still stand by my other disappointments, though.

He's easily one of my favourite director's. Period. The Thing is one of the best movies I've EVER seen, and In the Mouth of Madness is an awesome Lovecraftian style story. I'm just saddend that he actually approves of a lot of the remakes of his classics. I've heard that Escape is being redone with the douche from 300, and then there's a remake of the fucking THING on tap as well. *shakes head* Why, I'll never know. Next thing you know, we're going to get a remake of Big Trouble starring some talentless cunt as Jack Burton. =\

I don't see the problem with the six sided ring and why people are harping on it as one of the reasons why TNA sucks so much. The shape of the ring is the least of their worries.

Correct!

That was a pretty good fall finale. I really would've liked Elle to stay heel, but it looks like she's making a face turn. =\ Also, how long can Peter's character last on this show? They've pretty much made him invincible with his power of "absorbing abilities just by standing beside you" - I hope they haven't written themselves into a corner with this guy, because he's almost as annoying as Mohinder. The only thing of note that he does is let himself be manipulated and scream his girlfriend's name.

I have to say that even though Low Ki comes off as a dick, I think he'll do fine for himself overseas. I'd love to see him show up in AJPW or NJPW. Low Ki against Nakamura or Goto would be all kinds of fun.

I honestly don't even want to imagine that..

If it was WWE, they wouldn't have put Scott Hall in the main event of the PPV. No, they'd feud the known alcoholic with the guy who's gimmick is drinking beer...
-
I don't see how this is burning a bridge when he was offered the release. Now if they could only get BG & Kip James to walk out too...

I dunno, I can't see the majorty of fat gamers being into exercise to begin with anyway..

If we're going to talk about really bad monster movies - someone has to mention Garuda... *shudder*

I think if you just put in a space, it registers as a nickname. Never tried it since I've never even seen where the nicknames truthfully come into play so I just make up crap. Tried that, but it wasn't working. Wierd, in the Japanese version it works. Maybe just a period or something instead?
