Plus aside from the uberfag vampires of the Anne Rice novels/movies, the vampires in Blade = bland. The vampires in Underworld = even more bland. Let's not get into the ilk of Dracula 2000, etc. The vampires in this movie were pure killing machines. No wasting time with games, comedy, self-loathing or sex, just pure carnage. Loved it!

Loved it. There were a few wierd looking green/blue screen effects that took away from a few scenes, but otherwise it was a very good flick, IMO. Very close to the graphic novel's storyline as well.

Anyone know if GH3 is going to offer downloads of older GH tracks for 1 & 2? I'm planning on getting the Wii version of it and really don't see a reason to keep my PS2 guitar + GH2 unless I won't be able to get those tracks again down the road when they start up the online thing.

Plus if you own an HDTV, the Wii version would be the way to go. My PS2 version looks like complete ass. Even more so than most PS2 games on an HDTV.

I don't think RVD is. I don't recall him winning the European title, and it's not oin WWE's title history. Not a big deal, just curious if maybe I forgot something, as I'm prone to doing. He won IC, Tag, World and Hardcore. He meets the 4 titles held mandate. No, this is World, IC, Tag and European. RVD won the traditional one. RVD was the last European title holder. It was shortly after the brand extension, he was IC champ and beat Dreamer for the Hardcore title in a Unification Match and then beat I believe Jeff Hardy in a Unification match for the European. So he was technically European champ for about as long as it took him to carry the belt to the locker room. Then it was merged into the US Title. This was being done because it was rumored that the IC belt would become the top belt for RAW. RVD lost the belt to Jericho, who lost it to Kane around the time HHH got the Big Gold belt. He beat Kane and merged the IC belt into that in fall of 02, until they decided to bring the IC title back at Judgment Day 03. Devitt is great. He's also known as Wild Pegasus 2/Pegasus Kid 2 in NJPW's Wrestleland - though I'm not sure if he's doing that gimmick anymore after all the shit that went down with Benoit. He's even changed his appearance (bleached his hair) to lessen the comparisons that he's received since he broke into the business. Either way, a great wrestler and very charismatic - the fact that he's a fellow Irishman doesn't hurt, either. I think that's starting to change though.. with the phonecall angle we're probably going to see a season-expanding storyline arc.

I'm honestly surprised that they haven't made MORE of an effort to create their own television presence. I mean, they have that on demand channel. Vince is a billionaire. Why hasn't he started his own channel that can show live Raw, Smackdown, ECW, etc.?

Raw was supposed to go online with JR as the announcer. USA Network put a stop to that. The timing of ECW being announced as "going online" 2 months before their TV deal is supposed to be expire seems a bit more than a coincidence, Scroby. I might be biased because by the time 12am Friday in Canada rolls around I'm in no mood to stay up until 1am to watch a show that aired days prior in the States but I think injecting storylines like Miz/Balls/Kelly and wrestlers like CM Punk into SmackDown while basically making the ECW show a non-televised net show - SmackDown's version of WWE.com Heat, which they used to have in the form of Velocity - is a good idea. I wouldn't even bother. You might as well forget about ECW anyway as WWE.com has once again gayed it up and only allows streaming of the show to American website visitors. Use proxies. I don't care enough about it try that hard.

True enough. I love 2D fighters, but if they want this to be more successful than to a really niche market or almost as a as nostalgia act then they need up the ante as far as graphics go. That said, I probably wouldn't touch a typical all 3D SF game.. I'd like to see something in the middle.. 3D characters but with cell shaded textures to give it that 2D feel, as well as a 3D environment..

Glad to see VKM pushed down to Xplosion - though I'm not so psyched to see LAX and XXX there.

Could do without the white - maybe red instead? The plated are cool, though. I like that it's a non-standard (well by today's standards) looking title.

KOC2 is great for long, drawn out (in a good way, lol) matches with lots of psychology, etc. IMO, of course. It's probably one of the most realistic wrestling games out there for simming, too.

Fire Pro G is the game you want. It's available on ebay right now. Also, there is another PS2 release called Fire Pro Z, also an import, but still worth checking out for the sheer fact that it's the last game to have any sort of "Victory Road" mode in it in the FPW series.
