Personally, I could care less about what people think when they hear the name of the movie. I only care about what I think. Even Romero has gone on record to say that making a remake doesn't "ruin" the original, and if anything it creates a desire to see the original if a person hasn't already.

First off, it's not that hard to make someone like the Rock "look white" [seeing as he's already pretty light-skinned] by upping the contrast & brightness in Photoshop. I mean, unless Ryland knows someone that has orange and yellow skin tone, that's obviously what's been done here. Second, everything in the photo is edited/washed out aside from the eye, which looks exactly the same as the eye on the right in this photo: I mean, it very well might not be the Rock's eye & brow.. but there's a good chance it is.

Paging one of the actors from the OC. Paging them back. Telling them not to show up. Because they suck balls. End of page.

New characters aren't necessarily bad. For all we know they're talking about specific villians for the film.

How do you figure? They're not including any real wrestlers. Only fictional characters. You'll have to add/import the "real" ones on your own. But even still, I doubt they'd get sued. Oliver Copp/TNM has been using real wrestlers in his sim for years and it's still selling copies...

Why ban it? The game is obviously geared towards and made for adults. Anyone who sells or rents it to children deserves the fine they're going to get. But that should stop those of us who are able to appreciate it from enjoying it. EDIT: That said, I think that this is just going to result in more copies being sold/rented. People will want to know what the "big deal" is all about, when in fact it's nothing more than what we've seen in the Resident Evil Series or even GTA. It just goes to show how fucked up our [Ontario and Canada] Government is. They can show pretty much the equivalent of pornography on Showcase at 11pm.. and I'd say a kid is more likely to come across worse things on cable tv late at night than on this videogame.

I think it's $34.95 USD Holy shit! Pass. UYI This will be the most common response i'm willing to bet. Depends on where you go. A lot of people say they won't touch it. Yet a lot of people who have enjoyed the EWR series, and enjoy everything Adam has brought to the series will most likely purchase it. Besides, upon the release there will be a demo of the product, so you can always test it out before buying. Pending the demo review, I'm pretty confident that I'll be putting down the cash for it.

I don't think so either. But even still, the movie looks like a complete rewrite. The only similar aspects I've noticed from the trailer are the zombies and a shopping mall, and that's about it.

I really hope they're able to get the late Curt Hennig and Rick Rude into this game.. re-creating the Heenan Family would kick so much ass.
