For me, the problem started when they split the titles between (the ones Bradshaw and HHH hold now). It bothers me that there is no #1 belt in the entire company. I think they should have a Smackdown champ belt, a Raw champ belt, and a rotating WWE champ belt. It would help with the Raw/Smackdown rivalry and really make the person holding it seem like someone special.

Here's what Vince should do. He should sit down with the WWF. He should put a blank cheque on the table. He should hand the WWF a pen and tell them to write whatever dollar amount that comes to mind on the cheque. After they do that, he should tell them that is in exchange for the complete rights and use to the initials, logos, terms, domain names, etc. of WWE and WWF worldwide, in every format possible, in perpetuity. Once they agree, he should sign the cheque, shake hands, thank them and leave. Then he doesn't have to worry about this again and go about the business of running his company. Never mind whether the "pandas" or Vince is right or wrong. Any judge who hears this case is going to like the charity that benefits endangered species. Any judge who hears this is not going to like the wrestling promoter who has narrowly avoided jail time. Vince should bite the bullet.

Didn't *some* of the TE guys sell the slam though? If so, maybe what happened is they were told to sell...but some forgot. It's a rookie mistake, but I can understand it. You fuck up when you're learning. You're nervous, you're unsure of yourself. You're not used to how things are. That's how it goes. Some companies might have thought twice about putting guys WHO ARE STILL LEARNING THE BASICS in a major segment on one of their key shows.

I disagree. It does matter. It would be like watching the Sopranos, and in the middle of a scene, James Gandolfini and Edie Falco break character and agree that the scene is going pretty good, and how impressed they are with the dialogue of this week's script. Then they get back into character and start arguing about Meadow and AJ. Everybody knows that wrestling and the Sopranos aren't real. But when they watch it, they like to pretend it is. When the fantasy is on, you don't let anything interrupt it. I'll watch an interview with the Sopranos cast, or watch a behind the scenes feature. These things interest me. But I don't want to see it mixed seamlessly into an episode. It kills the fun.

Look, there's only one rational thing to do as a result of all this. Fire Bob Holly and Bradshaw.

Shit like this has absolutely no business on a kayfabed WWE program. A seperate show? Ok, sure. But when you put it on Smackdown it completely destroys the illusion. Although, the Taker hater in me wishes it had been a bunch of them not selling the Last Ride.

When they showed so much of the Eugene/Bischoff match, the first thing that occurred to me was "I wonder if they're still writing tonight's show and are playing for time." That feeling was reenforced during the HBK never ending supreme bullshit promo. It was like somebody was giving him the signal to stretch it out.

The problem with Trish as a heel is that the faces in the women's division are beyond weak. Victoria, Nidia, and Lita? Two have no personality, and the other is a complete moron, and when Trish sounds off her, she's the one who sounds reasonable.
