There's only two ways they could go with this. 1. Lita isn't pregnant due to some complicated and illogical conspiracy, such as Rikishi doctoring the test for the Rock, and the people. 2. Lita miscarries thanks to some Trish heel antics. I think the angle is headed this way, so they can try one of those great shocks they think will get them ratings. It won't. And when Trish turns face again in a few months time or whenever, all will be forgiven. Ok, I suppose there's a third choice: someone actually impregnates Lita so the angle can pay off. Otherwise, it's one or two.

I think at this point Taker is like Austin, Hogan, and Flair--faces for life. People just have too many good memories associated with them, so they can't get behind booing them. If Eddie gets into a program with him, I fear for his push. The fan reaction, added to Taker's tendency to squash tag teams and "not feel it" will do Eddie's face run serious damage.

When was the last time they did an I Quit match? I know technically that any match that ends with a submission means that somebody quit, but I think to actually force an opponent to say the words is far more humiliating and is a great way to definitively end a feud.

I'm ambivilent towards Orton. I used to be a hater in the post RNN-updates, but now I think the way he is being used is much more tolerable and effective. I still don't find him particularly interesting to watch on the ring or the mike, but eh. Raw can't be packed with my favorites the whole two plus hours. I do however disagree with the effectiveness of his legend-killer gimmick. He has not killed any legends worth killing. That would actually be ok, but they aren't selling it as "Heel claims accomplishments he has no right to claim." You know what would have been a REAL legend killing move? Interfering with Taker's WM match, costing him the win, and then going around bragging that he killed Taker's WM record.

And let's not forget the blowoff, when a very green, very unover Randy Orton beat two of them at once, repeated a spot and injured himself...

He writes this as if it makes it all better. Some gimmicks are best forgotten. I bet a white Southerner manager dragging a black "slave" wrestler to the ring would get a big reaction. Does that mean they should do it? And when was the last time the evil foreigner gimmick really got over? Yokozuna? The Unamericans tanked, although to be fair the Undertaker kicking the shit out of all of them at once didn't help matters.

Shortly before Kevin Nash was turfed, Michael Cole was trying very hard to get Kevin Nash's new nickname "Big Nasty" over. I think Big Gimpy would have worked better.

The Nazis orchestrated the slaughter of six million Jews. There is a great deal of collective shame in the national German consciousness about it. Yes, I have talked to Germans about it. Ones that were born well after WWII. You can see a deep pain in their faces when the subject comes up. The reason why Germans don't "get over it already" is because they will not let themselves. They hammer it home to show that they are deeply sorry about this and are resolved to squash any sign of Nazism the second it shows itself, even its something like spray painting a swastika on a wall or jokingly waving Hitler in someone's face. Considering the incredible amount of damage the Nazis did, and a relatively short time ago, I don't think this is unreasonable. So to have this idiot, Bradshaw, Mr. So-Called Expert on Global Affairs (just read his columns on international relations, you'll see), to come into Germany and use Nazi imagery to get a WRESTLING ANGLE over, is insanely offensive. Free speech does not mean unlimited speech. Bradshaw could argue freedom of expression and "it was just a joke," but that doesn't mean the Germans have to listen. He did what he did, the Germans have a right to tell him he's not welcome and to never come back. For every country WWE visits, they should make an effort to see what the local taboos are, and make sure their employees know not to cross lines. What can be joked about, and what will cause a riot. This is just common sense. And it's not like Nazi Germany was a particularly difficult one to spot. I have no sympathy for Bradshaw whatsoever.

I can't wait for his next column. Lets see if he takes any responsibiity for the incident.

OVW shouldn't be a nursery, but it shouldn't be prison either. Is there no middle ground between coddling and beating the shit out of the wrestlers? They're just fostering the every one is out to get you, so everyone for him/herself attitude. It helps turn people into no-selling politicking assholes later. Oh, and working in WOW *is* paying dues. Having to work in such a shitty promotion with her shitty gimmick should count for something. Sniff. I miss Riot.
