The Booker's Nightmare: A match that involves Austin, Brock, Goldberg, Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Taker and HHH. Now book the match so that all the participants are happy with the end result and who jobs, and who goes over.
-
Jesus. What MORE did Austin want? His job was to drive an ATV down to ringside and drink beer, and squash midcarders without even having a match. I hope he really is gone for good. If he can't wrestle full time, then his only use was to put over somebody with some high profile jobs before walking into the sunset. If he won't do that, fock him.
-
I wonder what the situation was. I can't believe Vince cares about Austin's domestic situation. Vince doesn't care if you're a baby-molesting terrorist, as long as you can make him money. Could it be the Vince was pushing something too far and Austin was the one who balked? Nevermind me, just speculating pointlessly.

Remember the days of the Can-Am Connection? We are a long ways removed.

"FINALLY...DWAYNE THE MAGIC PIXIE HAS COME BACK TO MIAMI!" "If you smeeeeeeeeellllll what Dwayne the Magic Pixie....has cookin'!"
-
My most hated: Austin: I know he's still over, but I want that ATV to flip on him and squash the fucker. Shane McMahon and his stupid fat white boy boss-trying-to-be-cool dance. Undertaker: "Respect my lard blah blah blah take you to skewl blah blah blah" and his tendency to beat up not just single wrestlers effortlessly, but entire heel stables. All of Evolution: Including Flair. HHH: Actually close to sliding off my list. The next few weeks will tell. He might shoot to number one again with a single match or promo though.

I hope it's not a joke. "BLAAAA" is a good catchphrase. I can see it now: the t-shirts, the fans carrying signs that say "BLAAAA 3:16" and Tazz yelling "Here comes the BLAAAAAA!" whenever he sees Brock.
-
Good joke, but on the topic of Lance Storm: We talk about certain wrestlers being irrepairably damaged, Lance Storm has to be at the top of the list. Nevermind the merciless jobbing, no less than STEVE AUSTIN came out and told the audience to chanting "boring" at him. His WWE has probably gone as high as it will ever go.
-
Or he sees the ridiculous backlash against entertainment and sees an opportunity for cheap publicity by going "clean."
-
I don't think Kane will be able to compete in something where they test your urine before and after the event.

Well, you see, WWE management has the Mark Jindrak....decided that Mark Jin... Mark Jindrak... decided....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Replaying Raw is a good idea, but I'm amused at the commercials which hype like it was the biggest event ever in wrestling. It essentially boiled down to a few roster switches. And Booker and the Dudleys told that together they only equal one HHH. They must have been thrilled. y

WWE Expects WMXX to gross between 40-45 Million..
jester replied to Use Your Illusion's topic in The WWE Folder
Or because WM XX was hyped for a year like the future of WWE depended on it. I swear I saw commercials for it on all different networks from ESPN to Comedy Central and even during some stations commercials on NBA Season Pass on PPV. My point is that with planning and hyping things well ahead of time, they already have the people they need to make a profitable Wrestlemania. -

And of the many lessons learned from this show, I hope this one sticks with Vince: "Hey, Hogan wasn't booked for that show, and it made truckloads of money..." -
I'm kind of hoping Brock hits the big time in the NFL. Wins a Superbowl and everything. And that way JR will sob himself to sleep at night for the hoss that got away.
-
Booker, Dudleys, in case you were wondering about how much your company values you, let us make it REAL clear.
-
I too was stunned when they moved Spike Dudley to Smackdown. The repercussions will be felt for years to come.

I would like to add another hope for Blade 3. In addition to no-selling a pedigree, I hope Snipes says "So....people like us don't win championships, huh?" and then kicks the shit out of HHH. Then, on the next Raw, Hurricane mocks HHH saying "Wesley Snipes beat the Game."
-
If this were the Russo era, it would be a certainty.
-
Here's hoping that Wesley Snipes no-sells the pedigree before wasting HHH.
-
They should put the Raw announcers back near ringside. All moving them really did was establish that Bischoff was screwing around with Raw just to exercise his power (and starting many retarted "OMFG! Raw is gonna be renamed Nitro!" rumors). And maybe JR/King would be able to focus more on the match if it were closer to them.
-
Sometimes I think that WWE has totally forgotten how to push a wrestler or build his credability. Maybe they really think a bunch of losses will create more fan interest in their warped logic.
-
All I can say is that I hope Brock made his money and stays healthy financally. If he ever comes back, Vince is going to give him a gimmick where he's Spike Dudley's bitch and bury him so deep he'd have to dig up to reach DDP, post-Stalker angle.

Not quite the same from a story point of view. Under the draft system, the GMs or whoever would pick the wrestlers they think are "the best." So that means the top tier talent would be picked up first. Under a lottery, the picks would be random (from a kayfabe sense anyway). So Smackdown's first wrestler might be Spike Dudley, simply by the luck of the draw. Under the draft system, no way a wrestler like Spike gets pick up first.
