Baseball Playoffs.

^Not really. The media sure seems to think everyone wants that matchup though. Just to screw with Fox. I hope Atlanta, Florida, Minnesota, and Oakland advance.

You liked when Thom Brennan said managers seldom receive the credit for a teams success, but all the blame when something goes wrong. What alternative universe is he living in where that exists? One thing about LaTroy Hawkins. Hope you like Pinstripes, because that's where you're playing next year.

Nice work. 2 1st place votes for Mueller.

Vikings only 5th? Behind Denver, who struggled against a bad Detroit team at home. Yes, I realize Denver was looking ahead, but shouldn't being ready factor into the ratings.

Likewise. I was surprised to hear that Hargrove got fired, really. My hopes for the Beattie/Flanagan Regime were apparently too high, however. Considering the final AL East standings have been the same for the past six season, and considering the Orioles have made no appreciabe talent upgrades during that time, one would think Hargrove would get a chance to manage next year's team, which looks to have more talent than in years past. I've long been convinced the Orioles would be better off if the Angelos family would just vanish from the face of the earth. This is the latest proof of that. It's the 3 total collapses the O's have had the last 3 years that did Hargrove in.

That hearing problem he suffered from after that attack in Chicago, most of made him think Pena was asking for Jason Grimsley when he really wanted Dan Quissenberry.

Prior pitched on Saturday and it is Zambrano's turn.

Know who Fox didn't show enough of ? Kerry Wood's wife.

Who the FUCK knows? From the time SC got inside the Cal 22 in the 4th to the end of overtime, Mike Williams, the best fucking receiver in the nation, never touched the ball. I think SC, in particular the D-Line, looked past Cal. And Tedford called a hell of a game. That's great. USC gives away essentially a chance at playing for a National Championship, by not being read to play a decent Cal team. Go have fun with Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

What happened that turned the Muslem religion to the world's center for arts and culture, which it was during it's early years and dark ages in Europe. To a religion overtaken by zealots and oppressive tyrants and murderers?

It's still going to happen. You have to be dead like 5 years and have at least 2 miracles contributed to you, before you can be considered for canonization. Mother Theresa will become a Saint though.

Any movie that resorts to the tired scene of the guy getting trapped in the old/fat lady's house or apartment and ends up seeing her naked doesn't deserve to make a dime.

Reminder. Get into a live draft next season.

Props to Boche for unwillingly preventing Todd Helton from winning another phoney batting title.

Here's a quick report on the Twins Starting Pitching: B-. Solid. I look for Radke and Lohse to struggle against the left-handed Yankee lineup. Santana has to get over his nerves. A LH hardthrower always gives the Yankees fits. Bullpen A-. It's essentially a two man pen. With Rincon off and on. The key will be Romero, who will be asked to get Giambi, and the other LH batters out. Offense-B. Don't hit for power, but can generate runs, and seem to get clutch hits when necessary. That's something they didnt' get against Anaheim last ALCS. Defense A. One of the best fielding teams in the league. When the Twins play well their defense shines. This is the only area where the Twins are clearly better than New York. Intangibles-B-.As good has the Twins play has a team, the Yankees have their number. Pitching dominates and the starting are a perfect match for the Yankee lineup. Final Outlook- This is just a horrible matchup for the Twins. Besides the onfield domiance you have to wonder if the the Twins think they can beat the Yankees. What they say in the papers isn't always the case. I have my doubts. To make matters worse, any possibility of the Yankees looking ahead, should be scratched because of last years first round exit.

You want that pompous asshole Bob Costas hogging air time?

I don't trust the Red Sox bullpen. Yankees in 4 Red Sox in 5 Braves in 4 Giants in 5 Yankees in 6 Giants in 7 Yankees in 6

Here's a question Why can't Canadian teams win or even make the Stanly Cup finals? Vancouver was the last to make it and Montreal was the last to win. Both of those happened more than 10 seasons ago.

I see this movie holding steady at around 11 to 13 million the next month . By the end of its run it will make around 60 to 70 million. Not great, but for a fall release very solid.

So far this has been a bad year for celebrity deaths. -
Colorado could be a fun team to watch. With all the firepower they have.
