The love for Children of Men on here is a little overboard. In both style and substance The Departed was worlds better. And I can't wait to get the DVD and see it on the huge screen again in my school's theater.

I guess that makes sense. My seminar is a broader theme (it's called "Making Meaning," through different interpretations of text. Taught by Railton if you know who that is), so we're covering a range from Huck Finn to P&P to The Sound and the Fury to Nabokov's Pale Fire.

Inc, weren't you an English major? How could you not read Austen for class or something. That being said, I just read Pride & Prejudice for my lit seminar. It was very good and surprised me in that I didn't hate it like I thought, though I would have enjoyed it much more if I didn't have to read it at such a blistering pace. There's a lot of satire of high society and I like how, despite its reputation as a great romance, the romantic parts of the book are often glossed over while social commentaries and interpretations of letters are emphasized.

I bought and watched it again on iTunes. Man, with their interactions starting from the FIRST season, who would have thought Dr. Cox would kiss Jordan, tell her he loved her, and really mean it. Love the character arcs.

A sick running gag the writers seem to have is adding more and more problems to Kelso's wife Enid. Wheelchair bound, paralyzed from the neck down, now blinded by glaucoma...still funny in a twisted way, though.

Edwin had it right with Temptation, Love Vigilantes, and Perfect Kiss. Personally True Faith is my favorite after Temptation.

I vaguely remember reading the book a few years ago (Elmore Leonard, right?). Never knew they made a film out of it.

Rhett Miller - The Believer I love Rhett, and this CD affirmed it. He goes the full range, from bubblegummy pop in "I'm With Her" to a really, really great duet with Rachel Yamagata entitled "Fireflies," a fantastic title track, and a remixed version of "Question," which just happens to be one of my favorite songs.

Yeah, that was in "My Hero" from season one.

Understandable since they couldn't keep Elizabeth Banks, but that was just plain mean. Poor J.D. The horn gag was hilarious, too.

Fuck yeah. They're back to their old form. I loved this ep.

Say what you will about this season compared to others, but the cold opens have been better than ever.

How amazing does THIS episode sound! I think the only person missing in the road trip is The Todd.
