Magnolia's is definitely my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KItIMjXvV6w

I just saw Joshua Radin, Schuyler Fisk, and Brett Dennen in concert last night, and it was an incredible show. Besides drunk people who were talking obnoxiously loud during some stuff, the songs were great live and since Schuyler is from Charlottesville she had her mother (Sissy Spacek) sing with her on a few. I got to meet Josh and Schuyler afterwards and got a big hug from Schuyler so that may have clouded my judgment, but only slightly. If you like folksy acoustic stuff, definitely check it out. Josh and Brett did a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Cecilia" which was a lot of fun. Recommendations: "Winter" and "Star Mile," by Josh, "Hello," and "The Good Stuff" by Schuyler, and Josh & Schuyler's duet of "Paperweight." I'm still working on finding out track names for Brett.

That sounds like a really neat idea for an episode, even if I can't stand Michael Weston (super-annoying in The Last Kiss and he also played the cop in Garden State). Oh, and if there's a lack of Asian prostitutes in this episode I will be severely disappointed.

Down by Law is one of my all time favorites. The first 30 minutes or so of exposition is pretty slow and dull, but once they get to jail it grabs my interest and doesn't let go. The film also includes some of my favorite all-time moments: I Scream You Scream, Roberto's story about cooking the rabbit, and near the end with Roberto dancing with his wife.

Haha. This board.

I don't want her to get into this unless she KNOWS she's going to win.

After one listen I like the new Shins album, Wincing The Night Away. Not quite the wonderful weirdness of Oh, Inverted World!, and not as good overall as Chutes Too Narrow, but it's definitely an enjoyable album.

Little Miss Sunshine was tremendous if overhyped. And I just read on imdb that Ellen DeGeneres will be hosting the show. Ugh.

There was a recent article in Entertainment Weekly that brought that issue up and said it hurt the credibility of the Awards. It mentioned some performances or films, like Daniel Day-Lewis in My Left Foot, that would not have won in the current award hype structure because of their later release.

With Supporting Actor being so stacked, I'm psyched for Wahlberg, Djimon Honsou, and Alan Arkin getting nods. Anyway, I'm expecting to riot when Scorsese loses again.

Rhett Miller, The Instigator, and the new Shins, Wincing The Night Away

I know Nicholson is an Oscar darling but I'd rather see Matt Damon get a nod over him if they're only going to take one guy from The Departed besides Leo. Hell, I'd rather see Damon get a nod over Leo.

Especially if they end up giving the same speeches. I remember Jamie Foxx doing his retarded "What'd I Say" Ray Charles shout-out after every award he won.

My favorite. Plus, I get goosebumps when the patient so abruptly flatlines during J.D.'s narration.

Spoilers on who might be kicking it: From spoilerfix.com: This Thursday is a rerun of "My Bright Idea" from season 5, and the week after is "His Story IV" involving Kelso.

I watched The Return again and now I can't get Andy's ringtone out of my head.

Hell yeah, James Gunn steals Lollilove. "That's your vagina, baby. He's talking about your vagina."

I do hate the models on the site, though.

I love Threadless. I have: (my favorite) I'm pissed that I missed out on getting Pandamonium by a few hours.

In the British special, cameras followed Gervais' character around after he left the company to see what sad and pathetic things he was up to, and the crew even went to Florida for Dawn and her fiance. It's not far-fetched.

Okay then, Season 7 here we come? http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/zap-scrubsse...ap-tv-headlines I can't imagine what another "spectacle" episode would involve. Again, I just can't see them coming up with 22 more fresh new storylines.

Trailer: http://www.ifilm.com/video/2806678 Limited release this Friday, nationwide January 19th, I think. I'd like to think that this will be funny considering the leads are from my two favorite shows, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Neither the writers nor the director have done anything substantial (or in the writers' case, anything at all). And as "Let's Go to Prison" proved, the actors really can't help if the production sucks.

Yes! That was so good. I even liked "Guy Love" better the second time around, so Poo was the only lame song.
-
See, this is awesome except for Poo. Dr. Cox's song was amazing.

No no no, Ugly Betty is better.
