I'm very excited for this movie, even if this thread's subtitle turned me off just a little bit.

Ryan Adams' 5-disc box set 20:20 is coming out 08, God willing, since it was originally supposed to be out by the end of this year. I'm pretty sure it's all of his "lost" albums like The Suicide Handbook and 48 Hours, plus live tracks (hopefully including "Off Broadway" and "Peaceful Valley," which are rearranged and 200x better live) and cuts that weren't on Easy Tiger. AND The Cardinals are writing/recording an album this year AND Ryan is planning a solo "old school crooner" album, which could be disastrous. Either way, I guess the speedballs weren't solely responsible for his insane output.

So there was The Office Convention in Scranton this weekend, and reports are starting to file in. Yesterday was the Cast Q&A panel, and amazingly, a podcast website was able to record the entire 90 minute event. You can listen to it here. I'm more looking forward to hearing the Writers' Q&A, which was today.

I thought it was obvious that Michael was just projecting his feelings for Ryan on the similarly snot-nosed pizza kid. And with all Michael has been dealing with (Jan spending all of his money when he's already in debt, Ryan changing shit up rapidly), they're setting him up for an explosion sometime this season.
