James Gunn/Nathan Fillion on Slither all of The Office's are good. Except the ones with Melora Hardin. She is awful. Undeclared/Freaks and Geeks are usually best with Judd and/or Seth.

David Cross fucking ruled it in "She's the Man."

Wow, that looks really cool. And Drew Goddard writing with Abrams attached? Money.

More Emmy stuff from the same site: This whole process is ridiculous. And what makes it more hilarious is that even leaking any of this news goes against the affidavits they signed. FYI, the submissions: The Office - "The Coup" Scrubs - "My Musical" 30 Rock - "Hard Ball" Earl - "Robbed a Stoner Blind" I believe the process is, they submit one episode for consideration, then the finalists get to submit a reel of like 6 episodes for the final judging. Something like that.

Cool, thanks. I'm going to buy Cold Roses when the iTunes store starts working again. Also, has anyone heard of this site? http://www.aquariumdrunkard.com He blogs about music daily, and posts a couple of mp3s of the band he writes about. He's had Loudon Wainwright, Ryan Adams, Neil Young, Television, etc. I've downloaded a ton, it's great. The only thing that sucks is that most of the archives are broken links.

Alright, so I have Heartbreaker and Easy Tiger and now I'm loving Ryan Adams. Where to next? I heard both Gold and Cold Roses are really good.

I like Undeclared more than Freaks & Geeks, probably because I watched both in my first year of college so I could relate to Undeclared more. Jay Baruchel is perfect as a super awkward college guy, Seth Rogen goes COMPLETELY against his type and plays a smart dude whose favorite movie is You've Got Mail, and Jason Segel plays an extremely obsessive boyfriend. It's tremendous.

Found this at http://goldderby.latimes.com The official nominations are announced July 19th. Also, according to another article on the website, the Emmys will be 50/50 judges and popular opinion, for some reason. Meaning ratings may be a factor. YOUR Emmy winners, Grey's Anatomy and Two and a Half Men!

hahahahaa. Posers. Man, I thought the skateboarding fad ended like 5 years ago after the second Tony Hawk game.

Stop bickering, you two. Anyway, I normally don't watch all the fan videos on YouTube since they're so sappy, but here is an AMAZING one set to "Mr. Roboto." Best ever.

I'm listening to it now and it is all over the place, but I really like it. Even if Ryan sounds like a complete goof saying "GUITAR SOLO!" in Halloweenhead.

The real tragedy lies in gary floyd's attempts at humor. -
HAHAHA... My ex-fiancee is in jail on a felony charge!
Hank Kingsley replied to Matt Young's topic in No Holds Barred
Can someone please find the thread in which Special K described in detail his sexual escapades, including, but not limited to, needing goggles for his cunniventures. -

Oh how I miss Special K. And I thought people stopped comparing their IQ's in like, 5th grade. -
Rant was the first of his that I've read. I liked it but do agree that it could've been cut down by about 30-50 pages. The "Party Crashing" stuff was pretty lame, neural transcripts sounded neat, and I did like the concept of even if he took it a little far.

The conservative prediction for Evan was like $40 million. Yikes. I wanted to see it to support Steve, but man, it looked dreadfully unfunny.

I knew I missed out not going to Foxfield this year.

I had preordered it on iTunes, so I'm restraining myself from downloading the torrent. As it stands I'm really excited. "Two" has grown on me and I really like "Everybody Knows."

The new AFI Top 100, coming June 20th on CBS
Hank Kingsley replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
Oh, and I just saw the list. I'm SO excited Sunrise made it. My favorite silent film and one of those really magical movies. If it was any other movie the ending would seem cliched by today's standards, but I just love it. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it. Vertigo is my favorite Hitchcock, so I'm glad that's so high. GoodFellas should be much higher, Strangelove should be much higher. But what do I know about movie lists? Boogie Nights is my favorite movie. -

Glad you missed the point of the movie entirely. -
Yeah, in the UK version, the Special takes place 3 years after season 2 ended, and by that time everyone has seen everything. David Brent can't get dates because everyone knows he's an asshole, Tim was embarrassed about being rejected by Dawn (twice), etc. Personally I don't care, because it's a TV show. I'm willing to suspend disbelief for the best show on TV.

Petty & The Heartbreakers did a live cover of the song at The Concert for George, so that might've been it. Although my cd says Lynne was on the track too.
