    Wonder Showzen

Does anyone watch this? I know it would probably offend a lot of you holy rollers and Bushies, but the rest of you should check it out. Funniest show since Mr. Show, hands down.

    Smashing Pumpkins

I don't get it, he wants to reunite the Pumpkins, but only Chamberlain will be from the original lineup? Wasn't that what Zwan was?

Carson Palmer's injury could be career threatening

Anyone else see a pattern with the Steelers? 2001 AFC Championship Game, Brady has to leave with an injury to his kneww. Week 3 this year, Rodney Harrison's season is done after a hit to... the knee. Bill The Chin Cowher is the NFL equivalent of Jeff Gillooly... Gillooly...

    Emo/Punk/Pop Rock stuff...

Well according to allmusic, Dr. Know appeared on one of C and C's albums. I don't think he'd guest on a pussy band's album.

    Emo/Punk/Pop Rock stuff...

I thought Coheed and Cambria was prog-rock, what with all the mystical D and D imagery in their lyrics. Emo whines about how heavily eye-shadowed girls with "rock" belts don't put out. I guess the modern day emo was born out of Weezer's Pinkerton CD, which stinks because I like that CD. When I was growing up emo, which was short for emocore, referred to bands like Fugazi and Dag Nasty. Emotionally charged hardcore, not namby pamby made for MTV poseur pop like Bowling for Poop.

What's the worst Rolling Stones song.

Angie Only Rock'n'Roll Actually anything from Goat's or Only... Faraway Eyes makes me cringe. And yes, Country Honk is the superior version.

    NFL Week XV

Everyone's going on and on about how SD exposed a weakness to Indy. OMG, Schottenheimer showed the AFC how to beat the Colts in a playoff game. Obviously this was not a playoff game, otherwise Schottenheimer and company would have lost. He's the biggest choker this side of Tony Dungy come playoff time. Everyone know the best way to beat the Colts in the playoffs... is to be the Patriots!

    NFL Week XV

I can't stand the Patriots, but they don't worry me at all, primarily because they won't have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Pats being back is also strangely coinciding with a cupcake streak in their schedule. Since getting whipped by the Colts on monday night, the toughest opponent they've had was KC, and lost. They've got the Jets next week, and then Miami in Foxborough. Tampa Bay is also consistently atrocious in the cold, with a rookie QB and RB going up against a clever coach and seasoned defense. If any of their divisional opponents were worth a fuck, this team would have at least one more loss. They're a good team, but they are not going to play in the Superbowl. Well sinjcd wer're resorting to what ifs, if NE wasn't as decimated with injuries for the first half of the season, maybe they would have won the Denver and KC games for example?

    The Chronicles of Narnia

Phish has a cool song called Prince Caspian, which I believe is a book in the series. And I mean the hippie jam band Phish.

    NFL Week XV

As a biased NE fan, I'm curious; How serious are non-Patriots fans taking them? Do they scare you if you're a fan of an AFC playoff bound team?

    Classic Humor Clips

I'm looking for a few clips that have circulated through email and various humor sites. I'm sure you've all seen 'em. Specifically I'm looking for: The two asian soccer fans arguing, which leads to one kicking the other down a flight of bleachers. The pizza guy crossing the road and gets nailed by a monte carlo. The news story on the grape stomping contest, in which the reporter falls off the platform and makes a weird "owie" noise... I checked out eBaum but didn't find any of these. I also googled them, but again no avail. Thanks, guys.

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread

I'd like to see an animated version of "Shadows" and events that happend between Eps 4 and 5, such as the hero's run-in with the bounty hunter on Ord Mandell. Also, it would be cool to see another animated series that focuses on the bounty hunters. Everyone knows they're totally bad ass. Boba, Bossk, IG-88, etc etc.

    The origins of He-man

I preferred the barbaraian version. That was the one portrayed in the little story books that came with the first action figures. And Merman's sword = corn on the cob.
