1/4 Australian (May be technically Scottish instead... Grandmother's from Aussie land but her maiden name is associated with the Campbell Clan of Scotland) The other 3/4 is a mix between German, Irish, Italian, and several other ethnicities, mainly from Western Europe.

By the way... Thinking that only citizens of your country should vote in elections IN that country is ethnocentric now? Seriously, do you know how stupid that sounds? Yeah... that's like saying that illegal immigrants should have a right to vote. Wait a minute... some dumbfucks in California think that! I don't think these goddamn idiots ever bothered to read voting regulations that state that someone has to be at least 18, not a convicted felon, and *a natural-born US citizen or a naturalized citizen*.

I seriously doubt he does...

1. Mike's weight hasn't killed anyone yet. And I stress "yet." 2. There is NO way that there will be a draft. Even if Bush and Rumsfeld wanted one, there's no way Congress would pass it because it would end their careers. (The draft, like Social Security, is one of those issues that is POLITICAL DEATH if you touch it.) Where we go from here depends on how our resources (people and equipment) are deployed over the next four years. If we finish up in Afghanistan, there's a significant chance that the Special Forces troops could be sent to Syria and Lebanon because those are small countries where we could mainly do surgical strikes. I don't see us going into Iran in the next four years unless Iraq is standing completely on its own and we have some form of international support. Support in Iran, however, will be easier to come across than for Iraq since Iran is getting showing a lot of balls about their nuclear program while Saddam just played dumb to the world for his last few years in power. (The French, pussies that they are, won't want in. The Russians may decide they want in, but it will probably be in exchange for our Special Forces helping them out in Chechnya)

At least they don't have that green cotton candy like I've seen at Wal-Mart... It looks like The Hulk blew his nose into a plastic tub.

I'm going to pop a squat on Carter's headstone then dig up his body, let a dog have have sex with the corpse, then burn it, piss on the ashes, and then pour the remains into a litter box for further desecration. How's that for creative? BTW, my reasonings for disliking Carter deal with the complete distruction of the US military and intelligence community (although the latter was heavily lead by Frank Church) as well as ineptitude on all levels. Carter didn't know crap about being President and didn't appoint anyone who knew how to do their jobs... It got even worse when Carter decided to make Cy Vance into an ornament while he played Secretary Of State himself. Carter's only positive accomplishment was the Camp David Accords, which ended up getting Anwar Sadat killed and resulted in an Egypt that is still distinctly unfriendly, although not hostile. Carter's negative accomplishments are too long to fully list but include: 1. Boycotting the 1980 Olympics 2. Not supporting the Shah of Iran / supporting Khomeni's takeover (his people had spoken to Khomeni and were convinced he was "a spiritual man") 3. Giving the Panama Canal to Panama. (This was never giving them BACK anything... Panama's a country today because Teddy Roosevelt told them "If you rebel against Colombia, we'll support you as long as we get to build a canal across the isthmus) 4. The economy This incompetent bastard was only elected because Gerald Ford stumbled his way into office due to Spiro Agnew and Richard Nixon's problems then pardoned Nixon for anything he may have done in office. I'm wondering how different the world could be if Reagan had beaten Ford in the 1976 primary then run against Carter. Would Reaganomics have ended the bad economy before the end of the 70s? Would Iran still be somewhat friendly to the US? Would there have been no scandal to plague his presidency since the conditions of 1985-1986 wouldn't have arisen (Middle East hostage crises, Contras vs. Sandinistas, theocratic Iran)? It's impossible to really judge how different things could be based on one change, but that one would probably have had a significant positive effect IMHO.

If West Virginia runs the table and ends up in the title game, I can pretty much guarantee yet ANOTHER retooling of the BCS. Hell... there will be one if they go undefeated, whether or not they even get into the Orange Bowl. The question is whether a 1-loss USC, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, etc. deserves to be in over an undefeated team that plays in one of the worst conferences in the country and I'm willing to bet that 5 out of 6 computer rankings will say that an undefeated West Virginia would barely be in the top 10. (The New York Times is still involved, so no one can guess where THEY would rank them.)

True dat. OU was hyped out the ass last year as one of the best teams of all time before they walked into the Big 12 title game. As much as I respect OU, the only challenge they have on their schedule before the B12 title game is Texas and Texas is well known for choking under hack, er, Mack Brown. Given that the B12 North sucks this year from all indications, OU is set up to run the table until the Orange Bowl, at which time they'll probably face West Virginia due to the Big (L)East's pathetic schedule this year. (West Virginia's OOC schedule isn't the problem... they play both Maryland and Virginia Tech. However, having conference games against Rutgers, U-Conn, an underachieving Syracuse, Temple, and Boston College doesn't sit well with me).

I'd been watching Fox tonight when a story came across about a London to DC flight that was diverted in midair to Bangor, ME, because a passenger was found to be on a terrorist watchlist. After the man was in custody for a few hours, the AP broke the story that the man is singer Cat Stevens, who converted to Islam some years ago. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,133095,00.html It's pretty fucked up that Stevens is the reason that a flight was diverted. The only logical reasons I can think of for doing so are that Stevens is a high-profile Islamic convert and that he may have donated money from his singing career to various Islamic charities. Even if he did give money to "dirty" charities, I seriously doubt he did so knowing what the money would be used for.

Oregon State could turn out to be a LOT better than people think they are... They may be 1-3 but their three losses are to: #13 LSU #21 Boise State and #24 Arizona State That may not seem impressive right now, but Boise State is poised to sweep the WAC and go undefeated, LSU still has a chance to be SEC champion, and Arizona State is definitely poised to take out USC, who underachieved against Stanford. People would give them more credit if they didn't have such a pisser of a schedule.

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=...rry_1&printer=1 While this may not be the smoking gun that people were expecting, it certainly dims Kerry's already dismal chances of winning in November. Getting caught in bed with the media in a forged-documents scandal will finish him off, even though he's doing enough on his own to deserve a Bush-whacking on Election Day.

There's 3 minutes left in the Bowling Green vs. Northern Illinois game and the score is NI 31-17. Barring a miracle comeback by Bowling Green, this could have some major repercussions in a lot of games, especially for Oklahoma (Dama), who'll probably pick up his first loss.

What's that saying about cheaters, "They wouldn't get caught if they weren't so fucking greedy?" (The exact quote deals with casino scammers instead) Having someone submit requests for entire neighborhood to get absentee ballots IN THE SAME HANDWRITING is just fucking stupid on multiple fronts.

AFAIK, no trainer with any WWE ties (direct or indirect) WANTS to work out of the Northeast. Cornette would rather get a sex-change than move back to Connecticut. Dr. Tom Pritchard's been fired. Les Thatcher works out of Cincinnati and was cut as a developmental program trainer about two years back. The only guy who MIGHT be able to run one in the Northeast is Paul E, but he's death when it comes to balancing the books and he's already too involved with WWE creative to spend time running a territory.

Didn't see either of them. Piper isn't the only one to do shoots near-simultaneously with both. I'm pretty sure that Norman Smiley, Crash Holly, and a few others have done it too, although they might both be selling the same shoot.

Actually, it has to do with the airline not noticing the name the no-fly list. The US gov't gets a copy of passenger lists for flights headed to the US within 15 minutes of departure. When they got the list for this flight, they examined it and found that Yusuf Islam or some other form of that name was on the no-fly list, which matched up with the Yusuf Islam on the flight, the former Cat Stevens. (Because the Arabic alphabet is so different from the Roman alphabet, there are many different spellings for the same Arabic name. Example- Quadafi, Gaddafy, Khadafi, etc.)

Well, it's apparently only available through the Pennsylvania Pedophile, so I'm not buying it. If someone else wants to buy it, I'll "talk" to them about it though... nudge-nudge wink-wink knowwhatImean.

Wasn't even aware there WAS a Luger shoot... That may be worth reviewing if it doesn't cost too much... I'd be coming in with my opinions on a lot of stuff and don't exactly feel squeemish about expressing it if Luger goes on a "Wah! Ric Flair destroyed my career!" rant.

Some people think that Burkett could get a quick settlement out of CBS and I think they may be right... Do you think that CBS wants something like this to get dragged into the press over the course of a few years? I think they'd rather take the short-term financial hit by paying him off rather than give this story even MORE legs. That being said, if this thing ever goes to trial, Burkett would be laughed out of court then probably charged with document forgery by Texas authorities.

Too bad for him that he's running this campaign like he was TEDDY Kennedy instead of Jack... And TEDDY is so much different than Jack? Your not mixing nostalgia and conservative-rhetoric are you?...Bad Cocktail. As Denis Leary put it "They killed JFK, they killed RFK, but when it came to Teddy, they said "Never mind, he'll fuck it up himself."" Teddy has a bad habit of shooting himself in the foot, which killed his chances of becoming president. Teddy, unlike his brothers John and Robert, seems a lot like a rich, incompetent asshole who's in power solely because of who he's related to. Sounds a lot like Kerry, except you replace "related to" with "married to."

BTW, Jobber, I don't claim to be fully impartial. I'm a right-leaning independant who feels that Bush will do a much better job than Kerry on the related subjects of Iraq, national defense, and homeland security. That alone can be determined just by looking at Kerry's senate record over the years, in which he voted against just about every major weapons program the Pentagon has deployed over the past 20 years as well as skipping many of his committee's meetings on anti-terrorist activity, including a FULL YEAR of them after the first WTC attack. On top of that, I've gotten incredibly perturbed with Kerry considering that he isn't showing presidential traits while handling situations that go against him, such as the Swift Boats. Bush didn't complain about Kerry when MoveOn.org and others were slandering him and Kerry didn't say "boo" about it. However, when the Swift Boat veterans, 200 Vietnam Veterans who put together commercials on a shoestring budget, begin attacking Kerry, Kerry flips out and starts accusing Bush of using them as a covert means of attacking him. Combine that with Bush's constant praise for Kerry's service while Kerry goes out of his way to disparage both Bush and Cheney and you get an image of someone who likes to dish things out but doesn't like to take them. That doesn't sit well with me, which is why I'm enjoying his campaign disintegrating due to the simple fact that Kerry has no consistancy to him. He changes issues every week or two, depending on what he thinks will help him. He also changes position sometimes within the same sentence, which is embarassing as all Hell. ("I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it" is a big example but not the only one of his inconsistancies.)

The CYA is the most famous one debunked but experts such as Emily Will had serious doubts about all the documents shown to them before CBS aired them. In fact, there was a document that CBS showed to Will that didn't make it on the air, so there's more out there than they're saying. (Note: I don't have a link for these because there's too damn much on this story to sift through)

This goes beyond the "were they forgeries or not" business. It was dirty pool for a major news organization to go to a campaign 60 days out from an election and say "We've been preparing a story on your opponent about X... maybe you should talk to our source, Y, about it." In effect, they were saying "We're running with this, so you may want to be prepared so you can capitalize on it." If the shoe was on the other foot, the Republicans would NOT have gotten the tip-off that the Dems got.

Anyone else think that John Kerry has a new career ahead of him as a spokesperson for Eggo Waffles?
