Oaktown is up... and it's Michael Huff.

Spring college football practices are starting...

I'd say it's probable... Hell, most voters probably wished they could have switched over to Young after the Rose Bowl anyway.

"Where else can you suck heads and sink putts in the same day?" That is SO begging for an Annkia Sorenstram or Michelle Wie joke.

Lots of booing... I don't think this is all Niners hate so WTF is happening there?

Appropriate considering the lack of brains in the Pack's GM office the last few years. They got anally raped by the Saints two years ago for Mike McKenzie (They got a QB they later cut and a 3rd or 4th round pick, IIRC) and they still haven't recovered.

The Pack is up... AJ Hawk.

The Pack may be making a play for Bush if they're taking this long. It's not likely they'll take Leinart and I don't see them getting Vernon Davis.

Arizona has the weapons to make him a success... if he's not on his ass constantly like David Carr because his O-line sucks.

They will for now... If they get Bush though, they'll all cream themselves.

Jets will take Brick and hope they can swing a trade for Bush.

I whole heartedly agree. I look at Hoffman and see the annoying fuck from Red Dragon, not some evil genius. I see Hoffman, as one of the best actors of this generation who has an excellent catalouge of performences. However, he isn't the first I think of for evil villian. I perfer him in the dramatic conflicted roles because he is great at it. I mean seriously, his track record speaks for itself. ON-TOPIC Young goes to Tennessee. I'm not knocking Hoffman's dramatic chops, which he's mainly showed in PT Anderson films like Boogie Nights. However, I just don't see him as an action guy yet. This COULD be a Jamie Foxx thing though, as I didn't buy Foxx as an action guy until Mann put him in Collateral.

OT: MI3 looks like it's going to be a disaster... Tom Cruise is off his fucking rocker to begin with and I don't tend to put "Phillip Seymour Hoffman" and "action film" in the same sentence.

I'm not going to complain about the Texans milking the clock... It gives the Saints up to 15 extra minutes to field offers. (I think the Jets will swing the deal, though.)

Agreed. Irvin is more insufferable than normal today.

I'd rather the extra picks than Bush... No matter what people say about him, I'm not sold on him playing behind a less-than-stellar line, which is what he'll be playing behind if the Saints don't draft guys like Brick and Nick Mangold to plug the holes left by losing Wayne Gandy and LeCharles Bentley. With a good enough line, you can take a fast but unproven back, like Samkon Gado and Willie Parker were when Green Bay and Pittsburg signed them, and make them into stars overnight.

Steve Howe dies in car crash

According to CNNSI's website, former relief pitcher Steve Howe, 48, was killed in a one-car accident after his pickup truck rolled over. While he was a talented player, winning the 1980 Rookie Of The Year award and helping the LA Dodgers win the 1981 World Series, he's mainly the punchline of the MLB's suspensions for substance abuse, which saw him receive seven separate "lifetime suspensions" during his career. His career ended for good in June 1996, after being released by the Yankees and then being caught at an airport with a loaded gun in his luggage. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/base...t.ap/index.html

I'd still rather bulk up the line than get Bush... The Saints are short a Left Tackle and a Center right now, so Bush, Deuce, and Brees will be on their asses if they don't get some protection.

I'm not arguing with that logic... The problem is that I don't like cutting people instead of getting value for them and I don't see anyone taking any of those three for even a late-round pick.
