USC and Fresno St. are tied up at 7 in the 1st. Georgia Tech is leading Miami by 4 with about 3 minutes left and Miami is about to get the ball back. HOLY FUCK that was a punt... Miami's returner picked it up on the 2 and was knocked out at the 12. Miami has to go 88 yards for the win within 2:37.

You're bowl-eligible and, as of this past week, are solidly near the top of the Top 10... You're going bowling, the question is where. I think we can safely say, though, that it WON'T be the title game.

Clemson wins! I'm going to the Big South Championship Game!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~~!!!!!

Thanks, Kotz... If East Carolina and Clemson pull off wins, I'm going to the Big South Title Game!

Pretty much standard Yahoo league rules here. The main differences are that fractional points are turned on, the Defense gets return yardage and TDs, and there are 14 teams, so pickings are pretty slim on the waiver wire. 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF QB- Tom Brady RB- Rudi Johnson Samkon Gado TJ Duckett (Backup) Antowan Smith (Backup) Greg Jones (Backup) WR- Roy Williams Eddie Kennison Joe Jurevicius Reggie Brown (Backup) TE- Todd Heap K- T. Peterson R. Lindell (Backup) DEF- Chicago Carolina (Backup) My QB situation worked out good for me... I picked up Brady early and planned to pick up a "reach" QB like Kurt Warner, Joey Harrington, or Kerry Collins later in the draft, but all the good ones were gone by the time I filled my other positions. Just as well, as most of my "reach" picks turned out to be busts. My RB situation is the result of Deuce McAllister, my #1 pick, going out for the year and TJ Duckett going down for a few weeks. I've been roaming the waiver wire since then and picked up some good backups at the right times. My WR situation is OK but not great... My 3 starting WRs at the beginning of the season were Kennison, Williams, and Ashley Leile, who I released after he didn't do shit for about a month. Other people have moved in and out, like Troy Williamson and Josh Reed, but haven't pulled enough of their weight to stay on the roster. Lindell took over my kicking duties after week 1, when Matt Stover couldn't overcome a shitty Baltimore O to score points for me. If Peterson performs well, I may dump Lindell and look for some potential WRs. Carolina was my original D at the start of the season but I picked up the Bears for week 2 and started them almost every week since. If it wasn't such a deep league, I'd cut Carolina in favor of another WR. However, a 14-team league means there are only about 6 available defenses at any one time. As for your team, it looks to be really good, in 8 or 9 territory. I agree with your WR assessment, as your WR2 spot is weak but, unless you're willing to trade Larry Johnson for someone, you're probably SOL for that spot.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only thing better would be if this was Tom Green instead of Ali G. Both are annoying fucktards...

"OK, we're going to give you a lifetime suspension... and not one of those Steve Howe lifetime suspensions either!"

Depends on the league in question. I know that the Liberty Bowl is able to take an At Large team to play the C-USA champion, but typically only if the league in question has enough bowl-eligible teams to fill the spot left behind by the At Large team. Example- Louisville (C-USA) and Boise State (WAC) played last year because the WAC had more bowl eligible teams than they had bowl tie-ins. This may be different for other leagues though.

The SEC will have left-over bowl bids when all is said and done. LSU, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and South Carolina are all eligible now. Tennessee could become eligible. Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State all have 6 or more losses and are therefore ineligible for bowl bids. Considering that the order for the SEC is, roughly, Sugar, Capitol One, Outback, Cotton, Peach, Independence, Music City, Houston, it's easy to say that there will be at least 1 unused bowl bid (Houston) and possibly 2 (Music City), if Vandy beats Tennessee.

Pat Garrett, though some relative on my father's side.

I feel weird... I sat both Roy Williams and Samkon Gado, who got 3 TDs each, and I'm *STILL* kicking the shit out of my opponent in my fantasy league. Then again, I'm playing a guy who drafted poorly, as he drafted a ton of guys from the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and Tennessee Titans, all of whom are off this week...
-
I'm pissed at Roy Williams... Sonofabitch was hurt the last few weeks, played 3 plays last week, so now that I sit him because he looks to be in the walking wounded and play Reggie Brown in his place, he gets 3 TDs and a 120+ yards.

Bored, Could you please start listing the tie-breakers on the Conference Championship Games? I know I still have one game left in conference, as do Cuban Lynx and Secret Agent, but I'm unsure if the tiebreaker is by head-to-head wins, BCS score, etc.

Win 1 more and you're bowl-eligible. Also, considering that Illinois is on probation, you're also in line to play in the Big MAC Title Game against Penn State.
-
Apparently I can take solace in the fact that my 8 correct choices this week, while not enough to win my game, still help bolster my Top 10 ranking because Agent Bond, Iggy McFly, Spaceman Spiff, and other top contenders did worse.
-
I don't think so... I think I only took 2 of 5 from APO, as Maryland beat North Carolina, Virginia beat Georgia Tech, and Western Michigan beat Central Michigan. Never mind, thought Bama was #1.

WOOHOO~!~!~!~!~! Bowe Knows Touchdowns! JaMarcus Russell to Dwayne Bowe for 6 in OT!
-
Double-post
-
$h!t!!!! Chris Jackson went wide left on a 47 yard FG... Alabama ball on their 40, still tied 10-10.
-
Bennie Brazell, LSU's all-star sprinter (and stone-handed Wide Receiver), just picked up a HUGE first down for LSU!
-
The Rice Owls also beat Tulane to snap the longest active losing streak in I-A football. Reminds me of that old cheer at LSU-Rice games... "What comes out of a Chinaman's ass? Rice! Rice! Rice!"
-
The LSU D-line has 5 sacks today. YES~! Brodie needs to aim for the center one of the 3 receivers he's seeing after all those head-shots he's taken.
-
Dama... Take into account that Colorado was about 7-4 last year while OU was 11-0 and heading for the Orange Bowl. Think that would explain the makeup of fans at the game?
-
Chris Jackson FG for LSU. TIEZ0RED~! 10-10 in the 3rd quarter!
-
LSU put together a suh-weet drive to start the 3rd quarter, put 7 on the board to snap Alabama's "no TDs given up" streak, knocked the shit out of Brodie Croyle, and now has the ball back at the Alabama 20 thanks to a nice pass to Dwayne Bowe. Bowe knows 1st Downs!
