Yes, in a way. Noble went to the doctor and, to get the office to pay for it, submitted the bill to the WWE. The problem was that it was for an infection at the site where he was injecting his steroids and the doctor listed it on the paperwork that Noble gave the office. The WWE was forced to fire him because they had medical documentation that he was using steroids. They didn't want to, but having the proof in writing meant that they were exposed legally unless they took action.

Crazy's only problems may be getting a US work visa, which is part of his troubles in ECW. As for the matches, I'd love to see him, Tajiri, Rey Misterio, and a few others have some matches. Once Jamie Noble gets resigned, that would be another good guy for him to face. (Noble was released as a total CYA move by the WWE... he was told he'd be brought back later once things had blown over)

I read the DVD writeups and Dr. Tom's NFL recaps in addition to my own stuff. I used to read the RAW and Smackdown writeups but not anymore... nothing against JHawk and company, but the WWE blows right now.

Looks like Erickson made the right choice by not bolting for Ole Miss... now he gets paid millions of dollars to sit on his ass for another two years.

He asked me to ban him. I'm not one of the people who was aching to ban him, partially because I don't like to ban people unless someone is asking for it. In this case, the really DID ask for it, not just act like a dumbfuck after being warned.

I think that Bob's brother may have been a bigger part of OU's success than the team wants to admit.

Haslett won't be fired. Haslett saved his job with a great finish this season. So the horrible 4-8 start off the season. Counts for nothing? As opposed to a NORMAL Saints season, which is typically 6-4 or 7-3 followed by a 5 or 6 game slide at the end?

Hrm... After consecutive years of Buffalo Bills duty in the title game, Oklahoma may have some trouble getting rated highly in the near-future if they aren't the sole undefeated teams.

It's not as annoying as the sports press in general blowing USC...

I agree with Vern... what position comes first depends on whether San Fran keeps the pick or trades it. If San Fran picks, it could be any position EXCEPT a running back. The Niners already have Barlow and another running back, so that's one of the few positions they don't need to fill.

New Orleans- Home: Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Giants Away: Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Minnesota, New England, N.Y. Jets, St. Louis Hrm... I've seen better schedules. Chicago, Detriot, and Miami are a welcome addition, but not as home games. New England, the Jets, Green Bay, and Minnesota aren't matchups I'm looking forward to. (That Vikings game was downright UGLY this year)

The reason that York and company would actually trade the pick is that the league mandates that the #1 pick of the entire draft makes at LEAST a certain amount based on past #1 picks. I could see them progressively trading down from #1 to the point where they have 2 or more picks in the middle or end of the first round as well as a bunch of late-round picks.

The site above predicts they'll draft Kyle Orton, but I'd be wary of him considering he has some of the same problems as Brooks (bad decisionmaking and fumbilitis at all the wrong times).
-
I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for one more season as long as they can bulk up his O-line. If they give him great blocking and he still finds a way to screw it up, it may be time to trade him and get Drew Brees.

For the Saints: Considering that the Saints are strong at Wide Receiver, Running Back, Defensive Tackle, Quarterback, Punter, and Defensive End, I'd say the areas that could improve most through the draft are Offensive Linemen and Defensive Backs Considering they're slated to pick 16th, I'm not expecting them to pick up the top guys. (Then again, there doesn't seem to be an Orlando Pace, Robert Gallery, or Deion Sanders in this draft) These are good players who are listed at 3rd or lower at their positions: Cornerback Antrel Rolle of Miami Cornerback Corey Webster of LSU Safety Jimmy Williams of Virginia Tech Center Vince Carter of Oklahoma Center Ben Wilkerson of LSU Tackle Jammal Brown of Oklahoma

LSU has tendered an offer to current Oklahoma State coach Les Miles, who has accepted it. While not the Bobby Petrino or Tommy Tuberville that some people had been expecting to take the position, Miles' past experience at Oklahoma State reminds me of Nick Saban while he was still at Michigan State. Miles has taken a program that was an afterthought in the Big 8 and transformed it into a perennial contender in the Big 12 South. Saban had taken Michigan State from years of mediocrity into being a bowl team annually. Oklahoma State was the definite #2 program in Oklahoma, as the U. of Oklahoma has recently won the national title. Michigan State was the #2 program in Michigan behind the U. of Michigan, which has won the national title in 1997, halfway through Saban's tenure at Michigan State. Both were at heavy recruiting disadvantages within their home states yet made their teams into contenders anyway. Miles should be able to take LSU's current talent and be competitive in the SEC. Considering the scheduling this year (Arizona State, Florida, Auburn, and Tennessee at home), I don't see why he can't get LSU back into the SEC title game or do even better. I'll just hope that his offensive and defensive philosophies mesh well with what Saban was already using, as adjusting to a new system could end up hurting the excellent defense and talented offense if it doesn't take right away.

Fantastic 4 Film Changed due to Incredibles...

FF sounds like it will be the typical Marvel shit-fest, although I'd love to see Chiklis yell "It's clobberin' time!" before beating some con's head in.
