    Jim Cornette Shoot Interview(2003)

I tend to stick to single-wrestler or tag team shoots so that I'm more familiar with who's in it and so it's coherent to read later on. Also, I'm only up to ROH 4 and 5, so I know guys like Spanky, the Christopher Street Connection, Alison Danger, etc. but not necessarily ALL the people on the tapes, so those will probably wait until I've watched a few more ROH shows. #3 DOES look interesting though, if only because Teddy Hart and CM Punk are on there. I will be looking into the Christopher Daniels shoot if nothing else because he probably has some prime WWF training camp stories as well as stuff on the final days of WCW. That doesn't even go into the primo match footage that will be on there.

    Jim Cornette Shoot Interview(2003)

Piper did shoots with both Highspots and RF, unless RF isn't marking theirs *This is not an RF shoot* anymore when it's from Highspots. The problem is that Piper is SO full of shit that I'm going to wait until it gets cheap because I don't want the interview to be like any promo he's done in the last few years, where he mumbles aimlessly.

Meanie's stuff is good. The problem is that they spend a disproportionate amount of time on Jasmine because of their horny fanboy-ism. I'm sorry but if a porno chick is doing an interview, she better be naked and taking it in some orifice while she's talking. At least Kristi Myst got that half-right in hers, although she DID do Feinslime too... <shudder>

Some get money. Others, depending how far down on the totem pole they are, probably get booze. Many of the older ones, such as Jesse Ventura and the Jim Cornette ones from Smokey Mountain, are unpaid because they were impromptu tapings at company events, with Ventura's coming at the Slamboree 1994 convention and Cornette's coming at various Smokey Mountain Wrestling fan-week events.

    Jim Cornette Shoot Interview(2003)

I've got Dustin's somewhere... I just forgot I had it. I don't have Regal's, CM Punk's, or Corino's latest, although I had planned on getting Corino's latest and probably Justin Credible's latest in my next order. Regal's shoot will probably be LOW on my list because it's only 50 minutes long. The other shoots I just remembered I have somewhere are Bob Orton Jr. (Randy's dad, Piper's henchman), Norman Smiley, Blue Meanie and Jasmine St. Claire, Road Dogg, and Buddy Landell. There are more than that, but my apartment is a mess at the moment for various reasons and I can't find all of my tapes.

Hrm... Unfortunately for LSU, the only thing guaranteed for them at the moment is that every game from now on will inch their strength of schedule up. On the plus side, Michigan should probably knock Ohio State out of the competition next week and MAYBE UCLA or Oregon State could trip up USC. And if Florida can hopefully leapfrog Georgia in the BCS (either by winning big in their own games or Georgia dropping one to Georgia Tech) , LSU will get to play Tennessee in the SEC title game. That will be a tough game but it will be against a team that will give LSU quality win points and help them out in the jockeying for the national title game slots.

WWE capitalizes on the Latino fanbase

~! Now if those things aren't TOO pricy, I've got yet another piece of over-the-top crap for my collection to go with the giant Dogs Playing Poker rug that I'm hanging on my wall. EDIT- $8? Not bad... my upper limit would have been $10. Guess I need to see if they've got anything else worth picking up while I'm at it.

I don't think so. I don't believe wins against non-DI schools count towards bowl eligibility. That depends on whether Kansas has claimed a I-AA victory towards going to a bowl in the last four years. According to NCAA rules, a school can claim a victory over a I-AA team towards its bowl eligibility once every four years. That's why New Mexico and Kansas State are iffy for bowls this year, as New Mexico claimed a I-AA win last year and K-State has two I-AA wins this year.

Oh... well, they may have stopped it but it was there as of July.

    Anybody been to Vegas?

The Orleans is where I was staying. Unless they hid it from us incredibly well, it's no longer there. When I went this July, The Orleans was WAY off of the strip. It's probably just moved from where it was when you stayed there.

    Anybody been to Vegas?

Go see Blue Man Group at Luxor and Bada Bing at the Orleans. The second, for those who know nothing about it, is a dinner theatre in which a surprise party is being thrown for the Don of Las Vegas. With your ticket, you get dinner, drinks, dessert, etc. It's also interactive, as the characters come around to the tables, put on a show, there are actors planted at some tables that get in on the act, etc. LOTS of fun, although I don't think it's a very well known show. I know I've got a picture somewhere of one of the blonde dancer girls from the show sitting in my lap...

One word: Astrosmurf Southern Miss played in the Smurf Turf bowl during my Freshman year at college (1998)... I've heard that one of the problems out there is that the coloration makes ducks think the stadium is a giant lake.

White Judge Draws Fire for Costume

At least he isn't as bad as the dumb bitch in Baton Rouge, judge Trudy White, who let judge Don Johnson off of DUI charges. Johnson had been stopped by the state police and was so shitfaced that he pissed himself at the scene. However, he got off because his brethalizer came back at like 1.09 and she claimed that there was a .1 margin of error, so he MIGHT not have been drunk.

Count on some crooked zebras at either the Cincinatti or Southern Miss game then. I don't think that even the fix being in could get SMU to beat TCU though.

There were a lot of teams that got totally bitch slapped by Oklahoma. I'd think it more of a problem that Texas got bitch-slapped by Arkansas, which is in the midst of a huge slide. They've won about one game since Auburn completely owned them in October.

"Very inconsistent"? LSU's had exactly one bad game this season and that was partially due to some problems with the offense which have since been fixed. Joseph Addai, who went out with a knee injury during the Florida game, is now healthy. Shyrone Carey, who went out during the Mississippi State game two weeks before the Florida game, should be back soon. And the three freshman running backs which have been playing since the South Carolina game have done an incredible job. On top of that, All-World receiver Michael Clayton is fully healed and part of a deadly pass attack along with Devery Henderson, who caught the Blue Grass Miracle catch last year, and Skylar Green, the nation's leading kick returner. I think they have played more inconsistent then Ole Miss. That was the point I was trying to make. They're good, but I don't think they are championship material. I was just being a fan saying Bama would beat LSU, but it'll be a close game, just like all Bama's games this year minus Ole Miss and Georgia. But Ole Miss will beat LSU in my honest opinion. Too bad Georgia will have to rip'em up in the SEC championship. Ole Miss has no defense but a good passing offense. LSU has one of the nation's best defenses (although better at run defense than passing defense) and an explosive offense. Manning is good enough to put up MAYBE 21 points, but the LSU offense will produce more than that. Hell, if the Ole Miss punter kicks one that DOESN'T go out of bounds, Green will take it back for a TD. As for Ole Miss being more consistent, that's a crock unless you mean "Consistently screws up in the fourth quarter." Ole Miss nearly lost games to Vanderbilt, Florida, Auburn, and South Carolina and, of those, South Carolina and Vanderbilt are not exactly huge SEC powers. All those games came down to nail-biting fourth quarter finishes because they had trouble putting away opponents. They lost to both Texas Tech and Memphis because they blew it in the fourth quarter. The only games they won handily were against a pathetic Louisiana-Monroe team as well as Arkansas and Alabama. By that point, both Bama and Arkansas had seen their seasons disintegrate and didn't bring their A game with them. LSU, on the other hand, has been consistently strong throughout the season save one weekend against Florida. The only other case you may have would be the Georgia game, but Georgia is a Top 10 team and LSU DID still win that game. In the case of Georgia, LSU got the lead early and was able to keep Georgia from doing much until they hit one great pass for a TD, but immediately responded with a TD of their own to regain the lead. In the case of the Florida game, LSU's offense never really got going besides Green's TD on the punt return. I'm not sure if that was Clayton's fault, QB Matt Mauck's fault, or the coach's fault, but it happened and they've since recovered. The one redeeming feature about that loss, though, is that Florida has since gone on to upset Arkansas and Georgia and has proven themselves to be more than a flash-in-the-pan. If they hadn't made the dumbass mistake of trying to RUN against the worst pass defense in the nation the week before the LSU game (as in "the loss to Ole Miss that turned everyone against Ron Zook"), they'd be on an even bigger role and Ole Miss's chances would be significantly slimmer. As for Alabama, they're always dangerous but they tend to bring their A game to Tiger Stadium instead of Bryant-Denney Stadium. Since this is a road game, they're less likely than normal to pull one out on LSU but LSU better not make any assumptions about the game being a foregone conclusion.

Arizona, UCLA, and Oregon State. Of those, UCLA is probably the best bet because of the rivalry there. Arizona has no shot and I'm not sure if Oregon State can pull it off.

#3 team in the BCS may be Ohio State but not for long. That lucky horseshoe up their ass is going to fall out, most likely against Michigan.

Tech's offense can compete with OU... the defense is another story. If the defense can shut down Oklahoma or at least keep them about even with the Tech offense, I'll be surprised but happy. The only reason that I brought up Tech as a possible upset is that Tech's offense is so overpowering and both Nebraska and K-State (Oklahoma's possiple B12 title game opponents) look like they have enough flaws that OU will beat them handily.

They'll be lucky to get by Pitt at this point because their secondary is hurting BADLY. I think they're going to go to a mid-level Big East bowl because VT or Pitt will get the BCS bid and West Virginia may pick up the #3 spot if they're REALLY lucky. I haven't been impressed by Pittsburgh at all beyond Larry Fitzgerald but Miami might just be folding their tent at this point. If they finish in a tie for 2nd though they'll definently get picked by the Gator Bowl for the Big East #2 berth. Oh and this Miami loss by proxy really helps USC and really hurts Florida State. Pitt may not be all that good BUT the Miami offence is floundering and Miami will have trouble stopping Fitzgerald.
