Soulja Boy winning a Grammy would be the worst and best thing ever. Its such a stupid song, but is so catchy that its hard not to love. I'd love to see Kanye West's face if Soulja Boy wins this. I'm actually going to root for this, if only to see another Kayne metldown.

Your most hated/liked for 2007

I have to disagree with this. Jimmy Johnson and Brian Baldinger dont make up all of the college football media, and besides after the Stanford loss USC was basically out of the national title picture even if they had beat Oregon. They dropped to like number 11 or so. I really see r hear didnt much USC "blowing" besides from the goofs at ESPN and on local radio here in Southern California. -

So I guess the TSM pick of most hated is the city of Boston? -

Maybe its just me, but when I think of "murderers", I think of scumbags like Jeffery Dahmer, OJ Simpson, etc etc, not Mike Vick. What he did was wrong, reprehesible and all that stuff, but "murderer"? A term like that just screams of hyberbole and its just overkill for me. -
My thoughts exactly on the Ducks. The funny thing is that nobody even showed up to the Honda Center until about more than halfway into the playoffs. They probably have the most wishy washy fanbase this side of the Rocky Mountains.

Anybody have an over/under on the fine that Goodell will give this goof? Over 10,000 dollars is my guess. -

So we can find the TRUE NATIONAL CHAMPION !!!!~ DAH DAH DAH DAH. For all the anti-BCS that is all well and good for me, their continually pushing for a playoff and doing these stupid mock playoff things are getting real tiresome. I think the point is to show how much Kirk Herbstreit knows and how much we don't -

After tonight, I hope nobody talks about Michael Vick ever again. The for and against Michael Vick crowds today were so unbearble, with the worst being Jim Rome calling him " a dog muderer" . Its so fucking outrageous its actually funny in a way. Just let him serve his two years and be done with it. Oh ESPN. -
I think that Jericho (through no fault of his own) has returned at the WORST TIME POSSIBLE in recent memory. Vince and company, within the past year, has realized just how sentimental the WWE fans (outside of Dimwit, Conn. or wherever the fuck the show aired from tonight) are. When you stuff the Jericho return in the same three-week sandwich with Flair in Charlotte and this sentimentally stacked show, then you can't expect the fans to take to it in the way that they should. It's just distracted booking. No disrespect, because I thought Jericho's return would garner a better response, but I think people on the internet got way wrapped on the Jericho hype and probably thought Jericho was more than what he was. Watching Jericho now, seems like the same dude he was two years ago and even four or five years ago. Watching that promo seemed like it was 2003 or 2004 all over again. The dumb catchprases and predictable banter was very contrived and cliched. I think, I now realize that Jericho isnt and probably will never be the "guy" ang that two years off did more to hurt him than to help him.

I agree actually. The first two hours went super fast and was very fun. The last hour dragged on and on to the "big" payoff of Austin stunning McMahon yet again. You know, the older I get, the more and more I get sick of Stone Cold.

I would be remiss if I didnt second the lack of Cena. An appearance would have been cool. Anyways this show was the best episode of Raw in years. However, I think they burnt out the crowd a bit with the Evolution, HHH hijinx and Hogan stuff in the first hour and a half or so. After Hogan, the crowd seemed to lose steam a lot.

Cmon man....you should realize that he's done with wrestling totally now. I don't think he's disrespectful towards it, but he's past that stage in his life. I know. But there is nothing wrong with wishful thinking right?

I dont want to be a negative nancy, because I liked the show, but I was very disapointed with the very predictable ending. Sometimes I hate being a Rock fan.

And he will actually serve about half of that. -
I think Brian Billick is all but done in Baltimore after this season. There is no way he can save his job after this. I second KOAB for Bart Scott being the funniest motherfucker ever. Throwing the flag into the stands and then being oh so close to beating some ref ass is my favorite moment of the season by far. Its a stupid thing to do, but hey its football. It it me, or does everyone notice its almost like clockwork when the refs "decide" an outcome of a game in the final minutes. The quality of NFL refs is almost at NBA levels. Its probably why I've been slowly but surely gravitating to the college game. Absolutely terrible.

BCS selection announcement
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to CanadianChris's topic in Sports
UCLA should see what Rick Neuheisel is up to these days. Is he still with the Ravens? Dude had a HELL of a program at Washington earlier this decade and took them to a Rose Bowl or two. The only thing bad about him his baggage, but he is a UCLA guy and an offensive guru to boot and that was pretty much UCLA's main problem since the firing of Bob Toledo. -

Honestly, If the BCS is rid of in the next couple of years, College Football should go back to the old bowl alliance system IMO. -

Didn't you get the memo? College football is SERIOUS business. BTW- The BCS should be never rid of because of seasons like this. Total and utter chaos and controversy this year. This has been the best season of college football that I have seen in my lifetime. Edit- The Championship game should be Hawaii v. Ohio State. An undefeated team should have a shot at the Sears Trophy no matter how "good" a conference is perceived to be (SEC, i'm looking at you). -
That Sean Taylor sure is a "thug" now huh? Some of the people here are rediculous.
-
But why risk further injury to your best player when you have a pretty easy two game strech and a comfortable lead in your divison? If I were a Packer fan, I wouldn't want Favre to get hurt further in game playing aganist the hapless Raiders or Rams
-
Why is making the claim that the Redskins will "fight harder" a concept that you so vehemetly oppose? Grief is a powerful emotion, you know. Honestly, you don't know how the Redskins will react in a game in light of Sean Taylor's death. Losing a teammate so suddenly and so tragically does have a powerful emotional and psycholigical effect on the Redskins players. What I think Mike is trying to say that the death of Taylor will provide an extra motivational boost to players that could have a postive effects on the players. I mean look at when LMU rose to NCAA Elite Eight after the death of Hank Gathers in the middle of the season. You just can't discount the power of human emotion, Czech. Football players are't robots.

I understand all that backup QB jazz, but the Packers play the Raiders and Rams in back to back weeks. Not exactly world beaters. I would understand if this was a divisional game or a game that the Packers needed to win, but he is going to play against two teams with five wins amongst them this season. For all intents and purposes, the Packers are probably not going to win the top seed, but they will win their division. Why not give the best and most important player on the team at least a weeks rest to heal his injuries. To me, is much too important to keep him healthy and rested for the final weeks playoff push, than to start him in games that the Packers could possibly without him playing.
-
I don't understand Favre playing against the Raiders. Its in Lambeau first of all, and the Raiders, although better than last year, are still a pretty sorry squad. Rodgers did a good job considering the circumstances. Why not give him a look? They still lead thier division by a conderiable margin. Even without Favre, the Pack will be able to defeat the Raiders. Why not rest Favre until he is fully healty? Is the record that important?

Man that Knicks-Celtics game was a total ass-kicking. The Knicks are a total disgrace on and off the court. Stern should really strip Dolan of the team and run it himself until he finds a legitmate buyer thats interested in winning.
