Fuck yes, the Raiders on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys no less. Hopefully, the Raiders are competitive this year. Oh and the Raiders acquired C Samson Satele from the Dolphins for a 4th round pick. Another solid addition to the offensive line. Now if the Raiders could pick up Michael Crabtree or BJ Raji in the draft, this offseason would be perfect. Very optimistic about this upcoming season.

As a kid, I admit I rooted for the Bulls in the NBA Finals. And no, I don't remember the 1991 NBA Finals. I still liked the Lakers, but I think every kid my age liked Jordan and the Bulls in the 90's.

I went to London in 2007 and had an awesome time. Here are some tips that I hope are helpful: -Plan on spending a lot of money. As you should know the pound is about double the worth of the dollar right now. -I would advise staying in a hostel to keep costs down. Just stay at place where you can safely sleep at night. -Use the Tube to your advantage. It's inexpensive and it's super easy. You'll be a pro in no time. -Try to get on a double decker tour that lets you get off and explore. Another good way to view the sights. All in all, plan on walking a lot. There is so much to do in London, that you should not be bored. Have a good trip.

Big news this week as Eric Holder, the Attorney General, announced that the federal government would no longer prosecute Medical Marijuana Clubs that operated within the letter of the law. In my state and many other states, this has made marijuana consumption for all intents and purposes, legal. In California, I believe legislation has been introduced to tax marijuana. Good news if you're a pothead. Now too the economics of marijuana. As you know, California has a multi-billion dollar deficit. Marijuana in some counties in Northern California support most, if not all, the economy. A county supervisor in Mendicino, stated for CNBC that if marijuana is taken away, that the county would go under. With all the facts we know about Marijuana today, should we end the bullshit and legalize it? I know in California, it is a billion dollar industry waiting to be made legitimate. Legalization would have an international ripple, as the cartels in Mexico would go bankrupt.

If it was legalized, I would imagine it would be dealt with like alcohol is in the States. Meaning in store, good quality and selection. It would still be legal to grow your own, but it be heavily taxed. It's a possibility that something like you suggested could happen, though, which I had never thought of.

Who is going to be Golden State this year? 2007 was the perfect storm, as Don Nelson game planned the Mavs to a tee. I don't see that happening this time around. And what does the 2000 Lakers have to do with the 2009 Lakers? The Lakers are 8 games ahead of the pack in a largely decent Western Conference. They either have won the season series or have a tiebreaker (I think they are 1-1 against the Jazz) against the playoff field. The Lakers do have problems guarding the three but is a team really going be that HOT from the three point line for four out of seven games? Every contender has flaws, as there is no perfect team. Also your prognostication is off-base from the get-go. The Lakers have been the best team in the Western Conference and arguably the NBA all season. You really think the Dallas Mavericks are going to beat the Lakers in four games? With Andrew Bynum coming back?

I used to equally love college and pro basketball until the NBA ruled that 18 year olds couldn't enter the draft. The one and dones in college basketball are killing the game, I believe. I remember back in 90s and earlier this decade, when I could actually name players on teams. Now it's a revolving door. I know some teams are the exception to the rule, but the game has suffered because honestly there are rarely any great teams that stay together like those Duke, UNLV, and North Carolina and Florida teams did. Plus the game isn't as good as the pros. The last minute of a game is an exercise in patience.

Nobody would give up being a Laker fan for the Kings. Thats not the point. And if the LA area can support 3 teams, why not? Anaheim is a better situation than Sacramento, hands down. Orange County has a population of 3 million, plus the Kings could draw fans from North San Diego County, Riverside and San Bernardino. You have a fanbase already built in, thats not particularly married to the Lakers or Clippers, really. Plus, there's an NBA ready arena just waiting. An owner would be crazy to not consider Anaheim. If Dodgers fans in Anaheim could switch to the Angels, it's a no brainer some Lakers and Clippers fan in Anaheim could make the switch..

Not so fast there. The Kings in Anaheim would be great for all involved. The Honda Center is an NBA ready arena and better than Arco by miles. Anaheim is hungry for a team, and if you think about it, the Kings could have all of Orange County all the way to the border.
