    Cowboys release Terrell Owens

Why does everyone think TO is just going to go to Oakland? Again, the Raiders don't have the money to pay TO even if they wanted him. Like 909, said if this was last off-season, TO would have been a Raider for sure. TO is going to want to play for a team with a good chance at getting a ring and a nice contract.

This week in the NBA (Mar. 1-7)

I'm surprised that this doesn't happen all the time with the Clips. Donald is just awful.

    Cowboys release Terrell Owens

Yeah, but with what money? No cap space for TO. TO ain't playing in the shitty ass Coliseum for free. We will get Crabtree with our pick and we'll have our receiver. Raiders are building through the draft it seems this year. RE:EHME

Sorry to break this to you NoCalMike, but DeAngelo Hall will not make your secondary stronger. Trust me on this. Also, I have a funny feeling about Albert Haynesworth not playing to his contract.

NBA: Is Pushing Stars Over Teams Right?

I agree Cheech. For what he has done, he does deserve the hype and accolades he gets. No question. On the other hand, I can see where people have issues when someone like Mark Jackson (and I swear I heard him say this too) proclaim that right now, he's the second best small forward to ever play the game and other extreme hyperbole. I can see where people can get off-put when people in the industry/NBA go off the deep end with the Lebron love.

    Spring Training 2009

And two of those three years they were swept out in the NLDS. When I say relevance, I mean in comparison to the Cubs, Red Sox and Yankees and even the Angels. Before Manny came here, the Dodgers were an after-thought nationally and even in the Los Angeles area for time there.

I'm not denying his greatness in any way. I actually like and appreciate LeBron. Just trying to see where Dama is coming from, that's all.

I can understand hating LeBron in a way. I kinda felt the same way when he came barnstorming into league as King James and how he's going to be better than Jordan. LeBron is a great player, but for all the hype and attention he gets, he really hasn't accomplished much in the NBA yet (save an NBA Finals trip). And I can understand the angst and the LeBron hyperbole causes in some people. Dama just says the things we all secretly feel about LeBron sometimes.

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day

States Nevada Arizona Hawaii Texas Georgia Countries England France Mexico Can't really say worst state as I've liked different aspects of the states I've visited. Even though I've lived here all my life, California is still the best state to me. Mexico is most def the worst country I've been to. Spring Break 2007 was both fun and scary at the same time for me.

It's all good bob. Let Dama bask in the glory in only Celtics championship he can remember. It makes it all the more sweeter, when the Celtics will eventually lose to Cavs (I think that would be worse than to losing to the Lakers for Dama. Can you imagine LEBRON JAMES and ESPN celebrating the Cavs second ever NBA Finals trip on the Celtics' home court?). It's all in good fun anyway. It's just entertainment.

    Spring Training 2009

Frank McCourt and Ned Colletti have to be crying tears of relief. They would have had to go into witness protection if they didn't get it done. On the other hand, this has to be the most anti-climatic big ticket signing ever. Whatever, the Dodgers are once again relevant in MLB again. Can't wait to get out to the Ravine this spring.

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day

Before I shaved my pubes, my dick looked like it was engulfed in a fire. I have a brown birth mark on the very tip of the shaft. I've never measured, but since I am black, I've assumed it's bigger than most. I'm circumscribed obviously. My pubes were jet black.

    The TSM Weight Loss Contest

233 today. Since December 26, I've lost 32 pounds. I don't remember the last time I've been less than 250. I don't have a gym membership, all I really do is walk/run/jog about 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week. I also do push ups and sit-ups. I'm on a good diet, and I let myself have one cheat day a week. Working has also helped, since I'm on my feet 7-8 hours a day.

Big week for the Lakers this week. Suns/Nuggets back to back is tough. But, the Lakers have been good all year on back to backs.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

He's supposed to be dropped, but who knows. Tyvon Branch is now expected to take Wilson's spot, who did well in relief, but got dinged up a bit. Cutting these guys hurts their depth, but the Raiders look like their on a big time youth movement anyways Raider Youth Movement.

Bandwagon Raider fan? I'd like to see those guys. Only diehards and holdouts proud to be Raider fans these days.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

Don't forget Ronald Curry and Kalimba Edwards as well. Wilson hurts the most, but he had problems with covering TE (and the AFC West has two of the best TEs), and was way overpaid for just having an okay season. I expect Tyvon Branch to win his spot, or maybe a late round draft pick up. Wilson wanted out last year, so he got his wish. Curry was fucking terrible last season, and Edwards, for a pass rush specialist, got ZERO sacks during the second half of the season. Hopefully, the Raiders are making a move for a mid priced free agent defensive or offensive tackle with the money cleared. I expect Kwame Harris and Michael Huff to be gone anyday now. Compared to last offseason, this offseason is gangbusters trimming out some of the fat and useless players. Hopefully this continues to the draft.

    This week in the NBA

I agree with you. With the Suns, Spurs, Rockets all losing key players this week, I can see a healthy Utah team getting home court in at least the first round of the playoffs.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

Big news for the Raiders: Al inks Nnamdi Asomugha to a rich three year deal, with some weird provisions: New Deal for Aso Damn, cutting Huff, getting rid of trash like Ronald Curry, signing Chris Johnson and Shane Lechler and now this. Can't wait for the draft.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

Thank the lord. He was so good at Texas, but utter dog shit with the Raiders. What a waste of a pick, and a high one at that. Hopefully, he can find a system where he can be successful, but his time is up in Oakland.

    Let's predict 2009's won-lost records.

NL West Dodgers: 92 wins with Manny, 80 wins without. With Manny, the Dodgers have the best lineup in the division. Pitching is a big question mark this season. Arizona: 85 wins Giants: 79- Excellent pitching staff, but where does the offense come from, especially at AT&T park? Rockies: 70 wins Padres: 57 wins NL Central Cubs: 97 wins Cardinals: 89 wins Brewers: 82 wins Astros: 78 wins Reds: 71 wins Pirates: 68 NL East Mets: 98 wins Phillies: 90 wins Marlins: 87 wins Braves: 80 wins Nats: 75 wins AL West Angels: 89 wins. A's: 85 wins Rangers: 80 wins Mariners: 60 wins AL Central Tigers: 91 wins Twins: 87 wins White Sox: 79 wins Indians: 75 wins Royals: 68 wins AL East Yankees: 100 wins Red Sox: 95 wins Rays: 86 wins Orioles: 81 wins Blues Jays: 75 wins

    This week in the NBA

Thats too bad for Tyson, I thought he had a good thing going with the Hornets. I guess just being able to score off of lobs isn't good enough. However, I like the deal for the Hornets. Good defensive upgrade if anything.
