Things that Amuse or Please You
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to Maztinho's topic in General Chat
Finally finishing my law school apps amuses me. -
I guess poster's can follow your own advice and "Let it go" when it comes to EHME. Right?

He's pretty good in the MMA forum, and is normal anywhere but the NHB forum. Plus, to me, his "mad nigga" stuff is more entertaining than most of the crap that's in there. At least he's not posting kiddie porn. People let themselves get bent out of shape because they endlessly respond to him (There is an ignore feature), which in turn, turns discussion sour. Posters that bait him or respond, are just as complicit in making NHB "unreadable" (which is silly. It's fucking NHB!) Anyways its NHB, where supposedly anything goes. I don't read threads or interact with people I don't care for, so people that don't like him should practice the same. I guess my whole point is, that there are people who are just as bad as EHME that continue to post here. Letting him back isn't going to destroy the fabric of our shitty abandoned wrestling message board.

In Let him back. He contributed good stuff in other forums.

I'm the same way. I don't have any problem with LeBron, but I get highly annoyed with ESPN, NBA TV etc on his nuts 24/7.

Don't these fucking cops and DA's have real crimes to prosecute rather than convict a bunch of college kids for "allegedly" smoking weed? This is the biggest blow up over nothing in a long while.

Stealing this from DVDVR, but gay= manly beyond my wildest expectations.

Let's see how I did 1. Who will win the MVP? LeBron James will claim his first of many MVP trophies Looks like this will most likely happen. I can see Kobe winning it again if the Lakers finish with the best record. 2. Who will win the Rookie of the Year? Derrick Rose OJ Mayo is making a charge at it, but this could still happen. 3. Who will be the Coach of the Year? Larry Brown will win COY for guiding the Bobacats to their best record in history. He can still do this, got them playing decent ball 4. Who will be named to the All-NBA First Team? C:Dwight Howard PF:Tim Duncan SF: LeBron James SG: Kobe Bryant PG: Steve Nash I was right with three, Duncan is having a good year, wtf was I thinking with Nash? 5. Who will be the NBA's Most Improved Player? A bold prediction: Lamar Odom Too bad Jameer Nelson got hurt, it's going to be him. Lamar can still have a big season though. 6. What team had the best offseason? New Orleans Hornets, following by the LA Lakers for just bringing everyone back healthy James Posey hasn't been the difference in New Orleans yet, the Lakers were spot on until Bynum got hurt. 7. What team had the worst offseason? Golden State Warriors Ding ding ding 8. Which team will be the most improved over last year? Miami Heat Good call here. 9. Which team will be the biggest disappointment? Out on a limb: Philadelphia 76ers Brand has sucked the life out of this team, expected them to be much better. 10. What was the best offseason move? Posey to New Orleans Not looking too good 11. What was the worst offseason move? Clippers signing Baron Davis, only to lose Elton Brand Another good call 12. Who will make the playoffs that didn't last year? Miami Heat 13. Who will not make the playoffs that did last year? Atlanta Hawks Glad I'm wrong in this case 14. Who are the best five players in the league, position aside (weak-sauce question, I know)? Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, DeWayne Wade, Paul Pierce, Chris Paul. Replace Paul Pierce with Dwight Howard and we got a winner. 15. Who will be the division winners? Pacific: Los Angeles Lakers, Northwest: Portland TrailBlazers, Southwest: New Orleans Hornets Central: Clevland Cavs, Atlantic: Boston Celtics, Southeastern: Miami Heat I underrated the Spurs, Nuggets and Magic big time. 16. Eastern Conference Final: Celtics v. Cavs 17. Western Conference Final: Lakers v. Blazers Will be Lakers v. Spurs. 18. Who will win the NBA Title, and who will they beat?: Los Angeles Lakers will take the title and will beat Boston in six I'm crossing my fingers with this one 19. Who will be the #1 pick in next year's draft? Don't know 20. Make one bold prediction. The Phoenix Suns will not make the playoffs this year. This needs to happen.

I have a feeling that people who were in Eminem's target audience in 2004 (anybody that was in high school from 1999-2004 or in-between) are going to shit on his new album. His stuff hasn't aged well, and his new single doesn't do anything for me. He waited way too long to release a new album. For me at least, I think I grew out of Eminem when I graduated high school.

Good god goldengreek, shut the fuck up, you stupid piece of shit. -
Damn, not even 20 yet, and he's hitting bitches. Not a good start young Chris.

So long Vlad Rad, you wore out your welcome. Good move financially for the Lakers as they get rid of Vlad's albatross of a contract. Hopefully, Shannon Brown can be the defensive help at the guard the Lakers need and anything out of Adam Morrison is a huge bonus. Both contracts are expiring this year, if I'm not mistaken, right? I was on the Shaq for Odom bandwagon for a minute, but common sense prevailed after a while. I'd love for Shaq to come back next year for his swan song year, but his presence alone is a distraction. Can you imagine Phil telling Shaq to come off the bench, if/when Bynum comes back? Yeah right. After the Celtics win, I want to see if Odom becomes the player everyone thought he would be. Hate to see it happen with another team. He's just so maddening.

So this has been all the rage with the local right wing talk show hosts in socal this week.

Amare is such a disappointing player. He has a nice all around offensive game, but just refuses to play a lick of defense. I'd like to see him in New York if he does get traded. As of right now Phoenix is a half game out of the playoffs, with Utah holding the 8 seed. If your Phoenix, do make a push to get in for a likely 4 game sweep in the first round, or do you blow it up and hope for the best in the lottery?

Good point. I think the Lakers are still the best in the West, but it's going to be tough to get past San Antonio. The Lakers might not have won that series last year with a healthy Ginobli and SA has only gotten better this season. Regardless, the Conference finals are going to be epic this year. Ray Allen is having a good year, but Mo Williams has been the difference and one of the reasons Cleveland is hanging around the top East this year. As a Laker fan, San Antonio concerns me, but we are too quick or athletic and big for them, even without Bynum. If Houston ever gets their act together, this is a team is capable of beating the Lakers in playoffs.
-
And who is going to beat the Lakers in the Western Conference Playoffs? San Antonio? Anyways after the Game 6 beatdown, this game meant more than the Christmas Day game. Yes it was a regular season game and in the grand scheme of things it is one out of 82 for my team. But, this win does a lot of things for the Lakers. For now, they have the best record in the NBA, by percentage points mind you. Beating Boston is Boston, without Andrew Bynum, is huge. Plus it was the backside of a back to back. Not saying the Lakers have erased Game 6, but if the Lakers and Boston finish tied, it will be nice to have home-court in the Finals, something that is essential to the Lakers winning in June. So this game did had some meaning if you like Lakers. Now onto the Cavs to try a break yet another streak.

Once Great Cable Channels That Have Gone Downhill
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to TMC1982's topic in Television & Film
Question: When was BET ever considered a "good" channel? It's been shit ever since I could remember. Wow, reruns of the Wayans Bros.! -
I do. The Lakers fans have been acting like their hot shit and they've never lost to Boston. They're acting like they've been spanking Boston for years upon years now. When they forget that it was less than a year ago when Boston was handing them their ass and winning the title. That's why I bring up last year because the Lakers fans I've talked to (remember, there are people outside this MB, so don't give me the standard "Who says that?" BS) are about to float away from the size of their heads. They, ESPN, and probably the Lakers themselves, need to come back to Earth and realize that these are two meaningless regular season games and we don't know how either team will react when the pressure is on in a Finals Series. All we have to judge off of is last year, where the Celtics completely manhandled the Lakers down the stretch. But, whatever. I'll let the Lakers and their fans enjoy the wins. We'll see what happens in the Finals. Damn right we'll enjoy this win. And we will enjoy home-court advantage in the Finals, but only if you get past Cleveland, buddy. Two meaningless regular season games, right? Last year is history Dama, all that matters in 2-0 against the Celtics this season, and one win was without Bynum on your floor. LOL at Dama pulling the ESPN card against the Lakers.

The TSM Weight Loss Contest
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in No Holds Barred
239 (!) this morning. My weight goes up and down during the week, so this is likely on the low end. But, my new diet and actually being employed have done wonders. No more sitting around all day for me anymore. -
Superbowl XLIII: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Arizona Cardinals
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to a topic in Sports
At the least the Cards get the ball back in the 2nd half. What a fucking play though, talk about deflating. I really want the Cards to win, just to shut my dad up, who became a Steelers fan because "a black coach is in the Super Bowl"
