I'm going to just pray that Bynum's injury is akin Paul Pierce's knee injury in the last years Finals, but I expect the absolute worst when it comes to Lakers injuries. So, If he is out the rest of the season I say kiss Odom and Walton (a fan can dream) adios and try to bring in Shaq. I mean he much rather be back in L.A., and I'm sure the Suns are going to tear their apart and start over, right? I mean Odom's contract expires this year anyway, so it would help get Shaq's contract off their books for this summer. It's a win- win situation for all! Fuck Fuck Fuck.

Andrew Bynum goes down with a right knee sprain against the Grizz. No breaks but an MRI is scheduled for tomorrow. This is so deflating

I'm pretty sure that Shaq is going to play nice during the All-Star weekend in hopes he can retire with the Lakers in 2010-11. He's been hinting that he wants to come back and wants number 34 retired (which it should be).

VH1 Trash TV Compendium
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in Television & Film
I've been waiting to discuss these shows on TSM so....... These shows are my guilty pleasure. Rock of Love/I Love (insert name here) is getting played out, but I love me some Celebrity Rehab/Sober House. I thought Jeff Conaway was the most pathetic shithead on T.V. until Stephen Alder showed up. I Love (insert name here) jumped the shark when they gave the Stallionaires a season which was a hot ghetto mess. Some of these bitches are so fugly and nasty. I guess it's better than having to make out with Flavor Flav. The Entertainer needs his own show that chronicles him trying to leave his parents house. -

I was 246 this morning. -
So per ESPN, Tom Cable is the new head coach of the Raiders, but John Herrera is denying it. So basically Cable has the job, and I'm satisfied with this choice.

I've been having a hard time listening to rap music these days, so I have been listening to music from my childhood: name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /> -
Try some Def Comedy Jam alums: Bernie Mac Martin Lawrence Dave Chappelle Eddie Griffin Jamie Foxx Bruce Bruce I'm pretty sure the seasons from the early 90's is on DVD or online somewhere. I'm not too sure that this type of stand-up will translate for you across the pond, but if you're into Rodney King and O.J. jokes, they this is right up your alley. Check out some Comic View also.

The Bobcats now own the Lakers at Staples Center. Weird game tonight with Kobe fouling out in the first OT. I thought the Lakers played their worst offensive game of the season, but they still had a chance to win at the end of regulation. Another good game by Bynum, but Gasol played like shit and I thought that was really the difference in this game. Not the way I want to see team leave to go on a long trip. On another note, I got tickets to go see the Lakers vs. Hornets in February! Can't wait to see Chris Paul in action. Cost me a fucking fortune but I haven't been to a game since 2002, so I was due.
-
Should be three "easy" games for the Lakers this week. I'm very happy that the whole team is back for the start of a brutal eastern trip that includes trips to Boston and Cleveland.

Now that Herm's gone, I think the Chiefs will take Mark Sanchez with their pick.

Tax raises?

"Bush kept the country safe" is the meme the conservatives in the media are pushing. Which is so fucking pathetic and patently untrue it's funny. -
Tax raises?
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan replied to Twisted Intestine's topic in Current Events
"Democrats are going to raise our taxes" has been a old and reliable Republican talking point for a generation. No matter what Obama does economically , the Republicans will scream bloody murder about taxes. Anyways, I find it odd and funny that conservatives want to remold the party back to Reagan, as if the electorate is thirsting for a return to trillion dollar deficits, trickle down economics, and less government (which is odd, because if any party represents more government it's the Republican party). I hope they try to go back to Reagan and destroy themselves, because this version of the Republican party is batshit. I believe in a two-party system, but not when one party is so power hungry it would mind seeing the country go down the tubes (California GOP i'm looking at you!) -

The TSM Weight Loss Contest

Weighed in at 250 this morning, but I've been floating around 248-250 this week. Still 3 pounds is a good start. -
The Raiders have like one coach on staff right now. I think Cable is going to be the head coach, but why take this long? I wonder if Al Davis is going to interview Todd Haley of the Cardinals after the Super Bowl? An interesting rumor that I saw floating around was that Al Saunders was talking to the Raiders about become the Offensive coordinator. The team has his type of players to run his power running game, but I've heard that his offenses are complicated and that doesn't bode well for JaMarcus Russell. Don Martindale is really no loss for the Raiders really. Watching the Raider linebackers over pursuit the ball carrier constantly was maddening. I'm actually really glad all these assistants are leaving as the team wasn't winning with them anyway. I say a fresh start is in order.

I'm a Cardinals fan for a day, fuck the Steelers. It seems to good to be true for the Cardinals, and we're overdue for a Super Bowl blowout, so unfortunately the Steelers by a lot. -

Somewhere in Seattle, Kinetic is shedding tears of joy. At least he won his Super Bowl*. Even when he was with the Raiders, his offensive schemes were always bland and predictable, and while I'm not surprised this happened, you would think this would have happened right after the Raiders loss. Wonder who the Bucs have in mind. Shanahan maybe? Al Davis must be smiling in Oakland right now. *with Tony Dungy's players.

My thoughts on Mark Sanchez: Mark Sanchez declared for the NFL draft yesterday, and watching a pissed Pete Carroll was surreal . Personally as an SC fan, I was disappointed to see him leave early, but it makes sense since Colt, Tebow and Bradford are staying. Honestly, I was never a big Sanchez fan (penchant for choking in the big games see Oregon 2007, and Oregon State 2008) but I thought he could benefit another year starting. I don't really think he'll be very good in the pros, as he doesn't read defenses too well and he is too skittish in the pocket. I'm really excited to see what Mitch Mustain, Matt Barkley and Aaron Corp do this spring with most of this offense coming back. I'm also very surprised and excited Taylor Mays and Josh Pinkard are returning.

At first, I thought this was just another piece of crap, but when I heard all the "bitches", "niggas" and "fuck", I realized this is ghetto poetry. Damn, what great art! It should be mandatory in all grade schools in the USA. -

I guess the cross was really calling Tony, because how many coaches in the NFL would leave a Hall of Fame Quarterback behind in their prime? Anyways, he had a good career, he had some great teams with the Bucs and Colts that couldn't get over the hump. But, he won his Super Bowl and got out on his own terms. Not too many guys can do that in sports nowadays.
