I'll probably forgot about this blog in a few days. I don't have a huge amount of stuff to talk about because my life is fairly pedestrian.

Maybe I'll rate posters or wrestlers, or talk about things from TSM's past or whatever. When I run out of ideas I'll let Steve take over...

Normal day today. I found some old tapes with GI Joe episodes on them that I tried to get Jeremy to watch but he wanted to watch Bob the Builder instead. If it wasn't for the fact he likes Chris Benoit I'd be seriously worried about him.

I'm supposed to go to Squamish tomorrow to see some family friends kids in a play. I'm sure no one other than Canadian Chick has any idea what/where Squamish is. It's a shitty little town with nothing to do so all the teenagers do meth and shit. I might stop in Vancouver and go to my favorite used cd store and pick up some albums. I want to try and find some stuff by The Pixies. Piss (the poster) got me into them awhile ago.

I finally saw the Joe/Punk matches and I enjoyed them though they didn't live up to the hype. I liked the second match best but all were good. I'd forgotten how much the ROH announcers annoy me.

My Burner stopped working as I was trying to put a NOAH show on disc, since hitting it didn't help I'll have to get one of my friends to fix it.

I'm still waiting for the usual summer drama to happen at TSM. The shit's usually hit the fan by now.

    Well I picked up some cd's at my favorite used cd store in Vancouver, I got;

Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols
Bob Dylan: No Direction Home Soundtrack
    Eric Clapton: Unplugged
    NOFX: Pump Up The Valuum

The Dylan stuff is pretty fantastic.

Then I drove up to Squamish to see some family friend's kids in a play, the kids are like my little sisters or otherwise there's no way I would have gone. The play was pretty good. The shitty part was that it was after 10 by the time I started down the Sea To Sky highway, which is one of, if not the most dangerous roads in BC. Thankfully they're adding more lanes and blasting some of the mountian for the 2010 Olympics.

Not sure what I'm going to do for the rest of the day today. Probably play with the kids and watch some Pro Wrestling NOAH.

My brother (who is renting a room in the basement from me) and his drunken idiot friends busted the big trampoline in my backyard last night. There was probably 15 people sitting on it drinking and it gave way. I didn't let anyone leave until they each gave me $10 so that coupled with the amusement of seeing 15 drunk teenagers try to untangle themselves almost made up for them waking everyone else up.

Other than that not much is going. We might go see my friends in Ladner this weekend, and go to White Rock for the day.

Kenta Kobashi Vs Steve Williams, 08/31/93
I love this match. The finish is pretty sick but then what's a Kobashi match without numerous head drop's?

    Misawa/Kawada/Kikuchi Vs Taue/MightyInoue/Fuchi, 90/8/31(JIP)
This was about 9 minutes JIP so I'm not sure how long it really is. It wasn't great or anything but it was just weird to see Kawada and Misawa teaming together and wearing different gear than they would later on. I'd never seen any matches where they were allies.

    Hansen Vs Steve Williams, 06/05/90
I enjoyed this match but I was a little let down mostly because they're both two of my favorite Outsiders in Japan. This was cool though just to see Hansen playing babyface in peril.

Sting Vs Vader, Great American Bash 92
Sting Vs Vader, Superbrawl 93 Strap Match

Both of these matches are great and remind me of why I always like both guys alot. If only Sting was still pulling out rolling wheel kicks. The strap match was great just for the sick welts Vader had across his back.
