    Mick Foley DVD

I guess you forget WWE can't do those last 5 matches? Yeah... pretty much.

    Mick Foley DVD

Well, I haven't even seen half of his WCW or ECW stuff, so I'll just predict WWF matches... - debut after WM XII - Cactus Jack returns (Jan. 2000) - Mick Foley quits WWF (night after Survivor Series 2001) - Boiler Room Brawl: Mankind vs. Taker (Summerslam 1996) - Dude Love (debut) & Austin vs. Bulldog & Owen (RAW, July 1997) - Cactus Jack (debut) vs. HHH (RAW, Sept. 1997) - Hardcore: Mick Foley vs. Terry Funk (RAW, April 1998, I believe) - WWF Title: Dude Love vs. Austin (Over the Edge 1998) - HIAC: Mankind vs. Taker (KOTR 1998) - WWF Title: The Rock vs. Mankind (RAW, Dec. 1998) - I Quit Match: Mankind vs. Rock (Royal Rumble 1999) - HIAC: Cactus Jack vs. HHH (No Way Out 2000)

    Surviving Dallas

I thought the Austin promo was a really nice touch to the match. They made it seem like Austin was really gone and never coming back... Of course I'll be disappointed when he returns in a few weeks, probably.

Biggest wrestler never to wrestle at Wrestlemania

Rock n' Roll Express were in the WMXIV tag team battle royal. You see them get eliminated at least. Other guys... hmm... GOLDBERG! Well, maybe not...
  5. If it were up to me, only the Raw title would be defended at the Rumble next year... Between now and the Rumble, have Brock defend his title against Hardcore Holly, Cena, and maybe an Eddie Guerrero here and there. A few weeks before the Rumble, Brock complains to Heyman about all the title matches. Heyman decides that at the Rumble, Brock won't have to defend the title, but he's entered into the Rumble match. If he wins, then he gets to choose his opponent at WM. During the Rumble match, Chris Benoit enters at # 4 or some early number. He fights all the way to the end. Brock comes in sometime after # 20. It comes down to those two, and Benoit is totally worn out. Brock takes Benoit too lightly, and Benoit eliminates him to win and to earn a title shot against Lesnar at WM. But if Brock has to face Goldberg at WM, then I'd be happy with Benoit vs. Angle for the title at WM.

    Royal Rumble 2004...

So what would everyone say the better way to get tickets is? Going to the Wachovia box office or trying Ticketmaster? I've been considering going to the box office the morning tickets go on sale, which I think is still unannounced.

    Royal Rumble 2004...

I haven't been following the NFL much, this year, so if it is, then good for WWE.

Survivor Series 2003 Results and Ratings

    - Team Angle vs. Team Lesnar I'm not that big of a Holly fan at all, but I was pissed that he went out in less than 20 seconds... the bell hadn't even rung yet. Bradshaw, A-Train, Jones, & Morgan involvement were all kept to a minimum, so I was pleased. The rest of the action was enjoyable enough for me, and Brock tapping to the Crossface was great. *** - Molly vs. Lita Not a bad womens match, at all. I thought it was over for Molly after Lita kicked out of the Molly-Go-Round, so I was surprised she won. ** - Kane vs. Shane Not as bad as everyone else thinks, IMO. Although, Shane got way too much offense in. And Kane just hit one Tombstone on the concrete to finish. A little anti-climatic.. why not 2 or 3 Tombstones? The cameras backstage were very annoying. *1/2 - Bashams vs. Los Guerreros I wasn't paying much attention to this match, except for the finish. It looked decent. ** - Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff MOTN, easily. I was really into the match once it came down to HBK vs. 3 guys. I don't hate Orton nearly as much as most people on this board, but Jericho definitely should have been the one to get the win over HBK. I was rooting for Jericho all match, but when it came down to HBK & Orton, I was cheering HBK on. The post-match Austin-HBK thing was cool, too. **** - Undertaker vs. Vince Total squash, and it was alright. Still better than Taker-Austin, IMO. *1/2 - Goldberg vs. HHH The beginning sucked and was boring as hell. The ending got better when Goldberg started taking out Evolution. *3/4 I really enjoyed the PPV, especially the Raw 5-on-5. On a scale of 1-5... I give it a 4.

    WWE Survivor Series 2003 Diatribe

I pretty much agree with all of the ratings. I was loving the RAW 5-on-5, too. I was going nuts by the time Jericho was eliminated. I don't know if you guys are joking or not, but I'm pretty sure Evolution's theme goes like this... "Evolution is a mystery... all the change that no one sees..."

The One and Only Survivor Series Thread

Here's my prediction for order... 1. Bashams vs. Los Guerreros 2. Tajiri vs. Noble 3. Kane vs. Shane 4. Molly vs. Lita 5. Team Angle vs. Team Lesnar 6. Goldberg vs. HHH 7. Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff 8. Undertaker vs. Vince Just like Anglesault said... it's hard to go from Undertaker being buried 6 feet under... ALIVE mind you, to, say... (JR on commentary) "Stone Cold's Team wins! Stone Cold's Team wins! Bye gawd! Now Austin can kick ass every Raw!" Although, Cole went from Boss Man being lynched to, "What a Wrestlemania Rage Party last night!" in a matter of seconds...

    Make it a Velocidential night

And if that's not enough incentive to make you watch... maybe you'll see ME in the crowd on Velocity!
  13. Worst PPV: 1999, most of the survivor series tag team matches were just thrown together for no reason except for a feud between Val Venis and British Bulldog and Big Show & Boss Man. The Edge & Christian & Hardys vs. Too Cool & Hollys did have a story, though, and was match of the night. Worst Match: Four Doinks vs. Bigelow, Booger, & Headshrinkers from 1993. This was a match with guys getting eliminated by slipping on banana peels, someone dancing around with the turkey carcass, and Mo riding around the ring on a scooter. Worst Moment: Gooker was bad, and the Screwjob was worse (I've been over it for YEARS now)... I'll go with HHH in a car being dropped from Austin's forklift in 2000. It wouldn't have been that bad if HHH returned like a month or two later, but returing TWO WEEKS (I believe) after? Rediculous and unbelievable.

    Your Survivor Series 2003 Predictions

Buried Alive: Taker vs. Vince Taker should get the win, but how do they explain Vince surviving being Buried Alive? They're certainly not going take Vince off TV any time soon. That's the flaw of the match... Undertaker, or some other supernatural wrestler, has to be buried alive. At least when Mankind lost, he wasn't buried too far before Executioner and other heels saved him. Vince wins with help from Kane... and just like both other times, Taker leaves for maybe a month or two, and returns with a revamped character... the Deadman. Prediction: Vince World Title: Goldberg vs. HHH I can't see HHH winning... he's out making movies anyway. I figure this match might end up being No DQ on Heat or something... it would be a lot more entertaining that way. Evolution, Mark Henry, and maybe other heels who tried to collect the bounty interfere, and Goldberg destroys them one by one. HHH loses after usual Spear, Jackhammer. After Survivor Series, Vince rewards Kane (for Buried Alive) with a title shot against Goldberg at Armageddon. Prediction: Goldberg Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff I'm looking forward to this match most. Get rid of Mark Henry, Steiner, maybe Dudleys, and possibly Orton, and this good be match of the night. Team Bischoff wins, and Austin goes off, giving Coach an asswhuppin before leaving. WWE can figure out what to do with Austin. Here's my predictions for elimination... (1) D-Von, via Steiner, (2) Mark Henry, via HBK superkick, (3) Bubba Ray, via Jericho, (4) Steiner, via Booker T, (5) Orton, via HBK (after taunting too much or something.. he's a cocky craker~!), (6) RVD, via Christian, (7) Christian, via Booker T, (8) Booker T, via Jericho with the ring bell or something, (9) HBK, giving Jericho the CLEAN win, kicking Austin out. Prediction: Team Bischoff (with Jericho as sole-survivor) Team Angle vs. Team Lesnar Brock is the only one who deserves to win on Team Lesnar, and after jobbing for weeks on Smackdown, I almost think he'll win. But I can see either Cena or Benoit winning, too. Eliminations... (1) Bradshaw, via Jones & Morgan double-team, (2) Jones, via Holly chairshot, (3) Morgan, via Angle, (4) Holly, via Brock, (5) A-Train, via Benoit Crossface, (6) Big Show, via Cena, (7) Angle, via Brock, (8) Brock, via Cena and Benoit double-team. With Cena and Benoit surviving, they both claim No. 1 Contendership, and have a feud over it leading to the Royal Rumble, where one of them faces Brock for the title. Prediction: Team Angle (Cena & Benoit survive) Kane vs. Shane Shane gets destroyed... simple as that. Prediction: Kane WWE Tag Titles: Bashams vs. Los Guerreros Bashams get the win, after Uncle Eddie lets Chavo down and loses. Chavo turns heel post-match, ala Rumble 1994... except with less heat. Prediction: Bashams WWE Cruiserweight Title: Tajiri vs. Jamie Noble This one could steal the show if given enough time. It's had the best build-up, except for the Austin-Bischoff tag. I figure Noble will get the win here and gain SOME retribution for Nidia's eyes. Prediction: Noble Women's Title: Molly Holly vs. Lita Lita wins. She's been attacked nearly each week. Prediction: Lita

    Vince vs Undertaker

I agree, but the only way I see Vince even winning is with interference from Kane to set up WM. So, for the most part, it could be Kane.
  16. Aero

    Vince vs Undertaker

I don't think the build has been that bad, outside of Vince's rediculously boring segments on Smackdown and no confrontations. I actually liked the way the match was set up, where Brock and Big Show destroyed Taker after No Mercy, and Vince got in his face asking about his rematch with Brock, only to have Taker reveal Buried Alive. Taker's graveyard promo on Smackdown was decent.
  17. The intrigue going in was awesome. No one knew who was going to win. The match itself was decent, but the screwjob overshadows everything. Plus, HBK and Bret have had better matches.

    Non-spoiler Smackdown Match Listing

Another possible match... although it was probably just an after the show deal, that won't air on TV. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): WWE Title: Brock Lesnar vs. Hardcore Holly It was only about three minutes, and Holly was in jeans.

    Smackdown SPOILERS

Actually, the card is even at four matches each. RAW has HHH-Goldberg, Team Austin-Team Bischoff, Kane-Shane, & Molly-Lita. Smackdown has Undertaker-Vince, Team Angle-Team Lesnar, Noble-Tajiri, & Bashams-Guerreros I was also at Smackdown last night, and they made it pretty clear that the Bashams vs. Guerreros match will happen at Survivor Series. A few other notes... The jobber who Horshu fought looked a lot like Bret Hart, except for the crew cut. He had nearly the exact same tights as Bret wore. In my section, the crowd kept yelling stuff like, "Go for the Sharpshooter!" The crowd really was into Holly... but it might just be because of his return. Nevertheless, I'd say he got second biggest pop and reaction of the night when he nailed Jones & Morgan with a chair. First biggest pop was definitely Cena. The Vince-Sable promo is backstage, for anyone who cares. I was really pissed that Eddie Guerrero wasn't there, other than his backstage promo with Chavo and the officer. Almost every commercial I saw on TV advertising this event featured Eddie. I'm really hoping the Brock promo after the tag main event airs on TV, because if so, I'll be on TV. While he was talking, me and my friend were holding up our signs. Mine said, "Ankle Lock + Crossface =" and his said "Team Lesnar tapping out". We were shown on the Titantron, but I figure the show goes off the air just as Brock is getting up after Cena & Benoit leave. And I highly doubt that it got on the air, but my other sign said, "Where's Steve Blackman?"
  20. Favorite PPV: 1996... I enjoyed all the Survivor Series tag matches, despite some flaws (DQ ending to the last one). I loved Bret-Austin and Sid-HBK. Taker-Mankind was good, too. Plus, the MSG atmosphere is always good for a PPV. I can't pick a favorite match, so I'll just list some of my favorites. - Bret vs. Austin (1996) - HBK vs. Sid (1996) - Wildcard Tag match (1995) - Jannetty, Holly, Horowitz, & Hakushi vs. Skip, 1-2-3 Kid, Radford, & Pritchard (1995) - Bret vs. Diesel (1995) - Flair, DiBiase, Mountie, & Warlord vs. Piper, Bret, Bulldog, & Virgil (1991) - Million Dollar Team vs. Dream Team (1990)... only in mark-out terms for Taker - Team USA vs. Team Canada (1997)... the in-ring debut of the Lethal Weapon~! Steve Blackman

    Angle re-injures neck

I'm going to Smackdown later tonight... Here's hoping I can actually see him in decent live match. When I went to the Trenton house show on 10/6 this year, I was jipped with a 3-minute triple threat between Brock, Angle, & Cena. I agree that Angle should just take an absense soon... maybe right after Survivor Series.

    The Raw Review 11/9 - 11/15

I remember watching it on TV. In the Shamrock-HHH match, Rick Rude hit Shamrock with the brief case, and HHH covered... 1, 2... We're out of time! The finish was shown on Livewire. I just remember Shamrock kicked out.

    An idea for Mortis

...Because that's what WWE needs right now... a Mortis-Undertaker feud! I heard they dropped the Mortis gimmick too, yet in the newest WWE magazine (or it might be Raw), they have a small article on Mortis returning. It says something like, "Longtime fans may remember Mortis from WCW..." and it ends with, "No one know's who's behind the mask!" Wasn't it common knowledge, even to the casual mark, in WCW that Mortis was Kanyon, when he switched gimmicks?
