    Backstage Fight Stories

You don't mess with the Lethal Weapon, baby. I didn't read every single one, but from what I saw, Arn/Disco wins for the funniest.
  2. Not only did Doc Ock repent... but he died, or so it would seem.

Best worst film you've ever seen

Street Fighter for all the reasons that were discussed in that thread from about a month ago.
  4. In Vince's eyes, it may be the # 1 show, but that doesn't stop them from booking Smackdown over Raw. Of course, there was the 2003 & 2004 (despite show jump) Rumble wins for SD, but then there was SD's 3-0 showing against Raw at WM 21, and a win over Team Raw at both Taboo Tuesday and Survivor Series. Yeah, they lost at Armageddon, but who remembers that? I'm picking Mysterio to take it, if only because he doesn't have anything going on right now. Taker's an outside shot, but the other big possibilities, HHH & Orton, both have feuds going in, which usually prevents one from winning. Angle vs. Mysterio could make sense at WM.

    OAO RAW Thread - Jan/23rd/06

Yeah, wait until you see the match first. Even if HHH does win, they can't screw up this Rumble enough to make it any worse than 1999 or 1995.

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

This is the best Vader mask I've seen, but I think it uses a layer hack or something. http://caws.hostingzero.com/svr2006/caws/vader3.php

    Smackdown VS Raw 2006

The Elimination Chamber trophy is easy to get if you be someone like Angle, HHH, CAW rated 99, etc. and throw in the worst guys like Steven Richards, Scotty, and so on. You just have to worry about them idiotically breaking up your pins, which can be very frustrating.

Free tickets for 1/24 Smackdown taping

Dude, you can feel the explosion and the heat from halfway across the fucking arena. damn, no doubt...last time I saw Raw live, we were sitting near the entry way, it was like a fucking sauna...the boom scared the shit outta me too! Just adding... I was in the last row on the floor in the aisle sections for No Mercy 04. Booker T and Big Show's pyro are insane.

    SNL Review

I know they showed the graphic for Steve Martin & Prince on 2/4, but I think they also showed a graphic for Dane Cook next week. I can't remember who the musical guest was, though.

    SNL Review

I didn't think it was THAT bad. I guess it was just me on two of these, but I liked the monologue, Cat Fancy, and the pirate skit. What was with all the mess-ups? First in the intro, then Sarsgaard was flubbing lines in the Cat Fancy, which also had a mic appearance, and then (I think it was a mess-up), the TV turned off in the hotel skit, which was one big mess anyway.
  11. Comments which don't warrent a thread is there. But yeah, the HHH logo is hilarious.
  12. Any Benoit tights that have anything except slash marks are horrible in my eyes... especially cartoon wolverines. Although, while the "4-Real" tights weren't that bad, I always hated the saying.
  13. The undercard right now has Edge-Cena, Angle-Henry, and JBL-Boogey Man. If they're going for only four matches like last year, I assume Raw gets one more match to make it even. But what can they possibly add at this point except an IC Title or Women's Title match? Trish-Mickie might be decent, but any Flair match would most definitely suck. It's always possible they'll make it five matches, but last year's show, even with only four matches, barely finished up at about 10:55. If Booker T's cleared to wrestle, they'll probably add a defense against either Benoit or Jordan... both of which would suck. The Benoit match could have potential, but it's been overdone. Plus, I'd prefer that Benoit be in the Rumble match. Sure, he has one of the worst chances of the lower tier main eventers, but it still adds the star power. The same goes for JBL, if he's allowed in. The winner of the Rumble could be HHH, RVD, and I assume HBK from Raw, and Mysterio, Orton, or Taker if he's in from Smackdown. I'll be getting the show for the Rumble match, but that's the worst undercard since 1999.

    Mega Man X Collection

I like X3's music, but like the SNES regular versions better. That's probably due to being used to those tracks. However, I hated X2's for the most part. Nothing stand-out, at all.

Triple Threat Matches that never were

Around the fall of 97, I thought an HBK-Taker-Bret 3-way would've made sense. All three had been feuding.
  16. Somehow I'm convinced we'll see TBS/Kane vs. Carlito/Masters for the Tag Titles. There probably won't be enough room on the card to give Carlito or Masters high profile singles matches, but you know they'll want to give them something important to do. They could also have Kane & Show vs. 3-Minute Warning, if they're built up enough by then. 3MW already started doing dark matches. The thing that I really hate about the Kane/Show team is that when they lose the belts, it's most definitely going to lead to yet another feud between the two.
  17. So, I'm watching Unforgiven 99 with D'Lo beating Mark Henry to win the European Title. It's surprisingly a decent match thanks to D'Lo, but then I started to think about his direction at the time. When he started his feud with Jeff Jarrett in the summer, he started getting some good crowd reaction. Seriously, the night after Summerslam, when D'Lo interrupts the Jarrett/Mark Henry interview, his pop rivals The Rock's. I kind of remember hearing about rumors that he was supposed to be in line for a push, but obviously he never went any further than the IC Title (which he already lost anyway) after paralyzing Droz. So, were there actually any plans for a D'Lo push back then? I was always so pissed that D'Lo never got a rematch with Jarrett to further the feud since he was so over.

    D'Lo Brown in WWF 1999

Didn't D'Lo exchange frog splash tips with RVD? Or am I thinking of Eddie Guerrero when he first came in the WWF with the Radicals?

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

Plus, I'm sure since tonight's Raw is the first televised show since last weeks Smackdown, we'll get an explanation tonight. So the Rumble undercard looks like... - Angle vs. Henry - JBL vs. Boogey Man - Edge vs. Cena The Rumble match had better be good, because that looks abysmal. For the time it took Angle to eliminate Henry in the battle royal, I feel like I've already seen a complete match between them.

    Mega Man X Collection

Apparently not. I must have seen that my life exceeds the weapon energy bar and figured I was done or something. One thing I noticed from X. In the opening stage, after Zero saves you from Vile, X starts talking about "I'm not ready yet... blah blah blah". Is it just me, or did they add in "Damn!" as the first word he says? I definitely remember him saying it in X3 at the very end, but not in X.

    Mega Man X Collection

I'm actually shocked. I never knew about the heart tank in Chill's level until Andrew just mentioned it. That's just crazy.
  22. I'd never spend a few thousand dollars on a real belt unless I was in the situation that I had so much money that I could spend it on anything. I do have two replicas made by FiguresToyCompany, though. I paid around $200 for each in times when I had extra money to spend.
  23. If he really wants to get fired, he should do one of the following things... (1) Go to WWE HQ in Stamford and wear the tights of a Hall of Fame superstar that may be on display somewhere while eating strawberries. (2) Run in streaking during a match.. a tan bodysuit might also work. (3) Grab the WWE Title, tie it to a rope attached to a car, and drive around the parking lot while talking smack through a mega phone. One of those HAS to work.

  25. When Savage was teaming with Hogan as the Mega Powers, he began to think that Liz had a relationship with Hogan, which is also part of the reason the Mega Powers broke up, anyway. I'm sure someone else may have more info to add to that. Savage & Liz got "married" at Summerslam 91. During the reception, Jake Roberts and Undertaker crashed and wrecked everything. Jake started his feud with Savage from there, and that lead to Jake tying Savage in the ropes and having his snake tear up his arm. From there, Jack Tunney reinstated Savage so the they could have a match at the Tuesday in Texas PPV. After that, Savage just stayed reinstated.
