Holy shit... Angle-Benjamin, AND Mysterio-HBK!? And I was only looking forward to seeing HBK and Mysterio interaction at Survivor Series.

Probably my all-time favorite would be his celebration after winning the title at No Way Out 04. Watching him grab the belt and then just randomly dive into the front row is great. As security helps him back up, his facial expression is priceless. His celebration with Benoit at WM XX. His entrance on the Smackdown after he won the belt.

I came online just now, saw the headline on 411, and was in utter shock. I still can't believe it. I never got to see much of his ECW or WCW work, but he was one of my favorites for the past few years in WWE. RIP, Eddie...

Good show tonight, but the endings to the matches all sucked, except for Lashley-Jordan, obviously, which was clean. I laughed at everyone packing into JBL's limo, though, especially since they were depending on the driver to speed after the Raw car.

Is there any possibility that the WM IX arena will have the diagonal aisle? I'm going to guess no. Also, the set looks like there's way too much space, but I suppose that's because of the same reason's we've never gotten a true MSG arena like Survivor Series 02... specific entrances for wrestlers. While stuff like that is disappointing, the atmosphere of outside will still be awesome.

This was the first Raw since Homecoming I was able to watch from start to finish due to not having work. Based on what I've seen and read the past few weeks, it was better than usual, but I wasn't that impressed. The opening was fun, and Shelton got to not only appear, but talk and wrestle... but that ended up being a huge let-down when he lost to the most overused finish today. I know I saw it mentioned at least once in the thread, but that might as well be Carlito's finisher. What is Shelton's record against Carlito anyway? 0-5 or something? Sure, technically, Carlito was counted out or DQ'd a few times, but Shelton might has well have lost everytime for not getting anything accomplished. I'm just sick in general of the seemingly same tag team main events every week.

Same here. I pre-ordered last week. When I tried to just pick up SVR last year on release day, the stores, with the exception of a few, ordered only enough copies for the pre-orders.

At Survivor Series 95, in the Wild Card match. HBK accidentally superkicks his partner, Sid, and walks away. Razor rolls over on top of Sid after five seconds for the cover, but Bulldog makes the save. Razor just rolls back on top... and gets the pin.

I just got much more pumped for the game... BTW, anyone hear anything about HIAC matches? Any improvements like more space, weapons inside, and new roof? While the match was okay the past few games, it's in desperate need of a revamp.

Vader declaring himself a "fat piece of shit" after losing at Over the Edge 98. The first time I saw Rob Conway's latest gimmick when he fought Val Venis on Raw a while back... he looked like he was in the Village People.

Couldn't have been that since I didn't watch the match. What I was talking about was actually the static lines coming across the screen for about 1-2 seconds. I want to say it's during the Money Inc. interview or during the entrances for that match, but I might be mixed up. Now, the tape error for WM VII during Jake's entrance, the whole picture gets blurry/shaky for a second.

2. Yes, I believe the WWE logo is in every corner I saw. 3. I haven't watched any of it yet, but it most definitely is.. just not as much as the ones after that. This was the last WM to have the block logo on the turnbuckles, so we don't have to worry about that one. The scratch logo is still many other places though (announce table, WM logo, match graphics, etc.).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> All of that is true, with possibly the exception of the last one about the rewinding sound.. I didn't hear it anywhere so far. The slow WM theme for the menu is slow for no particular reason.. the regular Linda McMahon version was still used for WM 13, at least. I'm disappointed to see no Instant Replay debate in the middle of WM VII, but they did include the Regis interview with Tenryu & Kitao and Trebek interview with Demolition, two things that weren't on the Legacy release. I also thought I saw a video tape error sometime during WM IX. I've only been skipping around though.

Went to FYE to buy the boxed set and Star Wars today. At first, I didn't see the box set anywhere, so I was going to just buy Volumes I-III. When I got to the counter, the person showed me the boxed set, which she had just brought out from the back. It was a little under $180 I believe. Having the WM 21 disc at the very top of the box is just as bad as it sounds when you read about it above. I haven't watched anything in full yet. I've just popped in a few just to check things out. I put in IV, and Ventura's there for commentary. I put in 13, and the one edit I saw with music and what not was the Godwinns/Hillbilly Jim edited to some random barnyard music. For some reason, they left the two promos for the April 97 IYH PPV in tact, which is really strange since they usually edit those out of every release. X7 doesn't have Limp Bizkit's 'My Way' at all, which sucks very much. That means it's not in the intro, recap video, or build-up video for Austin-Rock. Meanwhile, looking at the insert and listings for XIX, both Limp Bizkit performances are listed. I would assume that 'Crack Addict' is left there, unless WWE's allowed to use live performances as opposed to theme songs. I never bought 21 on DVD, so I don't know what the original DVD was like, but this version edited out the theme song for the event. I can't remember the name. ('Big Time'?) I bought the package for the early WM's anyway, so I'm not THAT bothered by some of the edits and blurring in the later ones. The collectors cards that come in each package are cool, though.

Christian... He makes himself into one of the most over guys on the roster and gets cheered in arenas all over despite being a heel. Leading up to Backlash, he's calling out John Cena, getting the fans hyped for the inevitable feud with Cena post-draft. The feeling of his first confrontation with Cena on Raw is electric.. until he gets punked out. Fine, he's still in a World Title match on PPV.. but Jericho is now added to take some spotlight off. With that, the feud with Cena is ruined once he's drafted to Smackdown, but he can still be pushed there... or not, as he's jobbed nearly each and every week. When people get 'excited' after a win over Spanky on meaningless Velocity, you know something's not right. Christian was screwed out of a potential main event run. Hassan and Shelton have their own things, though. I really felt bad that Hassan got stuck with nothing but a lame gimmick after the GAB and subsequently lost his job, but I never liked the Hassan gimmick anyway. I was never impressed with his ring work, and the Hassan gimmick generated heat through the cheap, foreign heel tactics. Shelton was/is just about as bad as Christian. The biggest problem for Shelton was not capitalizing on the HBK match. HBK verbally puts Shelton over the next week, and what does Shelton get? Nothing but a few meaningless IC Title defenses, until Carlito comes. Then he's jobbed out four or five times, stuck in a feud with Kerwin White, and now hasn't been on Raw in almost a month. IMO, Christian and Shelton both got screwed over almost as equally bad. I voted Christian if only because his feud with Cena had alot of potential, and WWE really screwed it up and chose to just ignore him.

Holy shit... If it's true, that color me disappointed. He was one of my current favorites.

The 5-way match was really good. Christian jobbing for the millionth time makes me sad, but whatever.. it was a hot ending sequence. There's no other explanation to the juniors / Boogie Man signings other than Canon sabotaging Long's show. Listening to Canon put over the junior division is hilarious, though. Great, another Booker T heel run... Because last year's was so good and effective. I hate non-sensical turns like this. Sharmell says to Teddy Long: "Booker should have been US Champion YEARS ago!" Um, he was champion last year. I want to say Eddie's going to turn heel again to set up the blowoff (Survivor Series?), but they've really done a great job in truely making the fans believe he's really a face. Having not read the spoilers going into the show, I was thinking that this was going to be the show where he turns, but it was actually an uneventful finish. Not a blowaway show overall, but still better than anything on Raw.
