The first Smackdown after Raw's draft started with Kurt Angle saying that he was the new GM since former GM Paul Heyman was drafted to Raw and immediately quit. I might be wrong, but did Angle actually come out to HHH's music to fool the crowd? Anyway, he just said that he traded HHH back for the Dudleys and Booker T. In regards to how/if Cena goes back, I'd prefer he just stay where he is and have Smackdown's last pick be Batista. Batista then retains at HIAC, and both champions get some fresh challengers, except maybe a few who also get drafted. Seriously, HHH can't stay on the same show as Batista anymore.

So, how long was Sandman's entrance?

I'm still debating whether or not to order. The show looks great on paper, but the invasion part is sort of lame. If it's kept to a minimum of one major segment that lasts about 20 minutes, tops, with WWE getting their asses handed to them... then it has potential, I suppose. Tazz had better choke Angle out, also. That's really the only aspect of the invasion I'm interested in seeing. If and when it happens, I get the feeling that Angle gets drafted to Raw the next night or something, unless they really want to have him continue to feud with Tazz. Like someone suggested Sharmell beating Angle last week, it would be a proper embarrassing good-bye... kind of. Yeah, so I'm leaning towards ordering it, but I would have to go through the trouble of going down to Comcast and getting a digital box for the night since I just got rid of it a few weeks ago.

I haven't played many games outside of the 'bigger' titles the past few years, but I would say my favorite was GTA: San Andreas. I love the GTA series, and this expanded nearly everything to make it the best overall game of the series. Close second goes to Zelda: Wind Waker, mainly because I was kind of disappointed with the second half's search for tri-force pieces and the small number of dungeons. And yes, sailing was quite annoying at times, especially before you got the warp song.

About the not having a PPV the same month as a major PPV, just remember New Year's Revolution and the Rumble from this year. I don't remember exactly, but weren't the buyrates actually decent-good for both shows? About New Jack, while I occasionally liked seeing him come out and fight for 5-10 minutes with his song playing the ENTIRE time, it won't be a huge loss not having him there to me.

Before the Cena feud, I can only remember title defenses against Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly. Right now, I think it's safe to say that Heidenreich is more over than any of those two were at the time, although Holly's pop does seem to be growing. You are right about Show's credibility, though. While I'm not a fan of Jordan, at least they have him defending the title. It's a huge plus, I think.

It's on WM 19's DVD actually, that was the Heat match. Dames <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WM 19 was Val (as Chief Morley) & Storm vs. RVD & Kane. WM XX's DVD has Val & Storm (doing his fun guy gimmick) vs. Dudleys in a Sunday Night Heat main event from about a week before the show to determine which team gets a spot in the fatal 4-way Tag Title match. I haven't seen it since it first aired on TV, but I remember it being pretty good.

I was too young to remember getting NES, but I do remember having fun playing Mario, Mario 3, Mega Man 3, and TMNT among others. Now SNES I remember getting. It was right after my family got back from a vacation in Disney World. My dad gave it to me and my two brothers that night. The earliest games I can remember getting are Super Mario World, Addams Family, and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. I didn't get Zelda: LTTP right away, but when I did, I loved playing that, too. Today, it's still my favorite game of all time. SNES is still my favorite system of all time.

Holy shit, I forgot about Taker. That's one match I've been waiting for for a long time now. Hopefully we'll get to see it.
-
Seconded. It's definitely something new, rather than a feud with Eddie (not that it would be bad, though). Plus, there's potential matches with Rey, Carlito, and London among others. Although, the London match is basically only a dream since he rarely faces anyone other than the Cruisers. It's not like Benoit was doing anything on Raw, anyway. It's fine with me.

Bret vs. Austin, WM 13 HBK vs. Taker, Ground Zero Austin vs. Rock, WM X7 10-Man Tag, Canadian Stampede HBK vs. Taker, Badd Blood 97 HHH vs. The Rock, Summerslam 98 Austin vs. Owen, Summerslam 97 Bret vs. Austin, Survivor Series 96 Angle vs. Benoit, Royal Rumble 03 Brock vs. Eddie, No Way Out 04 That's off the top of my head, in no particular order, and the list usually does change each time. I've barely watched any WCW, so it's only WWF.

There were a few laughs for me in the beginning, mostly from the two lighting themselves on fire. The last five minutes with SNL, Peter & Fallon, and Brian changing the station were hilarious, though. The middle portion was kind of lackluster.

Undertaker (3-disc), HHH (3-disc), Ladder Matches

Very disappointing match list for Taker. Nothing really rare outside of maybe vs. Austin from Fully Loaded 99 or vs. HBK from Ground Zero. But at least they got THREE Kane matches on there, along with that classic match vs. The Rock from KOTR 99! I just wanted the One Night Only match and vs. Angle from Smackdown in September 03. -

Raw is War & Smackdown - August 23 & 26, 1999

Also, on Raw, D'Lo comes out to a MONSTER reaction. As a D'Lo mark, I loved this whole segment. I really thought he was on his way to better things. -

When HHH breaks JR's arm in the beginning of Raw, I love the fake noise for the arm breaking. I haven't seen it in a while, but the sound of an egg being crushed comes to mind. -
It's still better than...

Not counting the Rumble's two World title defenses by HHH & JBL, it would be Survivor Series 04, and then Backlash 04.
-
It was confirmed at the press conference, and on wwe.com in the "free for all" video package show or whatever. I'm heading down there now too. It was confirmed last night on Velocity, also, complete with match graphic.

I'm either out or working on Fridays most of the time, so it'll be hard to watch. Hopefully USA picks it up and can move it back to Thursdays.

The last I Quit match was Vince vs. Stephanie from No Mercy 03, but the rules got changed throughout the PPV to allow pins for Steph.
