    Did anybody get a PSP?

I got a PSP almost a month ago... I found it in the mall parking lot in it's protective carrying case with Need for Speed Underground: Rivals. It works perfectly, but I've been out of power for over a week, so I need to buy a charger soon.

    Judgement Day

For a SD PPV, I think it's shaping up to be a decent show. JBL-Cena could be good, but it's nothing that I'm actually interested in seeing right now. The Eddie-Rey match has the intensity that their WM match was lacking, and I think it will easily take MOTN and could be a MOTY candidate. I'm not expecting Havoc 97, but it should be good. If Booker-Angle was simply over costing each other the title shot: fine. Turning Angle into a rapist: what the hell? I was interested in seeing the match, mainly since I can't remember them having a match since before the original draft, but using Book's wife is just rediculous. Chavo-London could be good if given enough time, I think. I wouldn't expect any more than 10 minutes though, which could still be decent. MNM-Haas & Holly is likely only to put MNM over as credible tag champs. I hate the Holly-Haas team, so I'm not looking forward to this. I wouldn't be surprised if Carlito-Big Show is just a 3-5 minute squash.

    SNL Review

Definitely the best SNL in what seems like forever. The only skit I really didn't like was the 'Crazy people with Artsy Stuff', but even there I loved Seth's delivery. Smigel's cartoon has to be one the funniest I've ever seen. I'd say you were spot on in your review. I actually thought WU was the one of the better ones of the season. Some jokes were lame, but Super Cancun, "What are you two yapping about?" and a mention of the California Raisins among others made me laugh.

    Wrestling Title Prestige

Back when the competition was still around, I always thought of the WWF Title as the most prestigous. While part of that is likely due to me watching mostly WWF, WCW putting their World Title on David Arquette wasn't helping them much. When you compare the the IC Title and the (then WCW) US Title, the US Title definitely seemed more important in the late-90's. IC Champs of the time like HHH, Rocky Maivia (before Nation), Goldust, and the rediculous list that is 1999 (with exceptions) didn't seem as important as the early 90's Warrior, Bret, Bulldog, Perfect, etc. To sum it up, the late 90's IC Champions seemed more like WCW's TV division. Currently, the World Heavyweight Title is obviously favored over the WWE Title, making it seem more prestigous in the eyes of probably most viewers. The last time a WWE Title match was after a World Title match on a co-brand PPV was Judgment Day 2003. Basically, even though I am a fan, JBL killed the WWE Title. Not too many people take his feuds more seriously than any World Title feud Raw has had, lately.

    WWF One Night Only

I'm looking for a quality copy of One Night Only 97 with the entire event, including Bret vs. Taker. Anyone willing to sell a copy?

    Luther Reigns released

Well, this came out of nowhere. While I think he's better than, say, Matt Morgan, I'm not too upset.

    Could Rey Mysterio...

They're giving him high-profile feuds lately, and they don't seem to want him to go back in the Cruiserweight Title hunt since it would be a huge step down, so I don't think it's totally out of the question. It would obviously be silly if he won Raw's World HEAVYWEIGHT Title, so winning SD's WWE Title is more likely, especially since he's already on SD as one of the Latino ratings draws. Eddie would probably be the best person for him to win it from. Apparently, Eddie going for the full-blown heel turn, which is leading to Judgment Day. I think Eddie has to win there, especially since he's lost so many times to Rey this year. Now, if Eddie were to ever win the WWE Title again (It's possible...), I think it could be a decent WWE Title feud between Eddie & Rey.

    WrestleMania 21 DVD extras announced

So what's the outside of the DVD case like? From the commercial on Raw last night, it looked like the same type of material as either WM XX or the Ric Flair Collection.

Possible Hell in a Cell for Vengeance

Ah ha! But how could he pull it off after being thrown out of the building by Commissioner HBK right after interfering in the Rock-Taker match? But just MAYBE, despite being thrown out of the building, he managed to get back in. However, the odds of ever getting back into a wrestling arena after being thrown out are slim to none.

    Most Major Title Reigns?

Didn't BookDust have a title reign? Yeah, but they had a reign AFTER they liked each other, so I don't think they should count. Add Jericho & Rock to the list.

Most drastic gimmick changes for Wrestlers

From "Wildman" Marc Mero to boxing Marc Mero. While, he did retain alot of the same moves (SSP, Moonsault, etc.), his gimmick totally changed. As Wildman, he was screaming in interviews and wearing leopard print... As the boxer, he wore boxing shorts and robes and did all kinds of jabs.
  15. Well, we've seen Undertaker buried alive three times, with the other possibilities being Mankind, Austin, or Vince buried alive... therefore killed. So, we always have that, although I don't think any announcers ever used the word 'kill'. Also, there was the time Hogan pushed the Giant off the roof of the arena at Havoc 95, but Giant returned later.
  16. The night after Badd Blood 97, I remember DX opening Raw with an interview and saying they were going to show footage of the HIAC match, but then footage of the Razor-Diesel MSG farewell played, with I believe both HHH & HBK acting confused. When it happened, I never knew what was going on since I wasn't on the internet yet, but what was this? Just DX acting like wise asses or something?
  17. The Christian jump is too predictable. I'd prefer they switch the world champions and bring Cena on Raw instead. I disagree. I assume each show gets 5 picks. All throughout Raw, Christian should have segments where he's hoping he gets picked. Cameras should show him crossing his fingers, maybe even praying. He should be the last person picked, after panicking all throughout the show.

    Strange Wrestling Exits

Didn't Shamrock get locked in the trunk of a car by Jericho & Curtis Hughes right after being beat down, or was that the week before?

    Backlash Discussion

My predictions: Batista vs. HHH They can't job Batista yet, especially to HHH. I'm expecting about the same thing as WM, nothing horrible but nothing amazing, either. Obviously, HHH will hit the Pedigree near the end, and after a dramatic two count (maybe after the ref is just revived from a bump), Batista will barely get the shoulder up. HHH is shocked, loses it, and Batista takes advantage and hits the Batista Bomb withing minutes to win. Prediction: Batista Edge vs. Benoit This one is kind of a toss-up. On one hand, Edge is the no. 1 contender with his contract, but on the other, if he loses, it won't mean alot when he decides to take his title shot in (for example) August since they can give him a proper build then. While I think Edge is going to wait it out and take his title shot around Summerslam (especially since HHH-Batista III is supposed to happen in HIAC at Vengeance), I still think he'll win. They haven't been doing anything with Benoit lately except have him sell his arm injury. He already got one win over Edge after WM, so Edge will probably regain his, here. I'm guessing that Edge works the arm the entire match and eventually, Benoit passes out because of it. Prediction: Edge HBK & Hogan vs. Hassan & Daivari They've hyped the "dream team" too much to lose now, but I still don't think they want Hassan to be pinned, yet. A DQ or countout would be really lame since they've already done it several times, so Daivari will most definitely be pinned. Hogan pinning him would mean nothing really, but HBK needs to get his job back from weeks ago. As Hogan & HBK hit their finishers on Daivari, Hassan will likely step back and retreat or something. Winners: HBK & Hogan Benjamin vs. Jericho Even though their matches from October weren't really great or anything, I'm still kind of interested in this one. I think it's been a decent build, but I'm still unsure of who the heel is (I'm leaning toward Benjamin as the heel, though). I'm hoping Jericho gets traded to SD and Haas comes to Raw to feud with Benjamin. If Benjamin were to win, Jericho could snap and turn heel again, perhaps. I really do hate him as a face, right now, so I'd welcome a heel turn. Prediction: Benjamin Kane vs. Viscera This depends on what WWE wants to do on Raw afterwards: (1) Have Kane win and keep chasing Trish since he's a huge monster, or (2) Have Viscera manage to cheaply win, and then have hilarity ensue when he tries to get Trish in bed like she promised. Choice (2) is obviously what WWE wants to do, I think. The match will likely be horrible. Prediction: Viscera Tag Team Turmoil Besides the champs, the only team I can see winning are Hurricane & Rosey, but I think they need a turn to the 'evil side' or something, first. Here's my predictions: (1) La Rez def. Heart Throbs, (2) Hurricane & Rosey def. La Rez, (3) Hurricane & Rosey def. Maven & Dean, (4) Regal & Tajiri def. Hurricane & Rosey. It might be unlikely due to starting with two heel teams though. Maybe after Hurricane & Rosey lose, they turn heel or something after so many losses and actually get to feud with Regal & Tajiri. Prediction: Regal & Tajiri Only six matches, so I'm guessing HHH-Batista and Last Man Standing go long, and the IC Title will likely be between 15-20 minutes. The thing left to add is maybe a Masterlock challenge (please no!) or Christian vs. Val Venis, or something. If Christian is actually not wrestling, hopefully he can cut a promo complaining about it and praising SD. I won't be ordering, because it does look pretty bad. Plus, I don't want to miss the first new Family Guy.

    The Undertaker's Cemetery

Another match I just thought of... vs. John Cena (SD, before GAB): Taker and Cena always seem to good matches (except for the one in the tournament before Backlash 03). Unfortunately, I didn't tape it when it was on TV, but I think I remember it being as good as their Vengeance 03 match.

    The Undertaker's Cemetery

You mean the one where about 99% of the matches end in a DQ or Countout win for Taker? Yup, that one's a classic. Rather than predict matches on it, here's some that I'm hoping for. vs. Bret Hart (One Night Only): I've still never seen this, and it's supposedly one of Taker's last really great matches. vs. Angle (SD, 9/03): I watched this when it was on TV. I was taping it, but after the commercial break, I ended up forgetting to press the record button, again. Yeah, I was pissed. Outside of the ending, I loved this match. vs. Ultimate Warrior (any time): Sure, they were most likely really bad matches, but I was always interested in the feud between these two, especially since I used to be a fan of both of them way back. There's bound to be some classic Taker matches on the DVD anyway. vs. HBK (Ground Zero): I almost like this match more than HIAC. It's one of my favorite matches of all time, and the DQ ending actually works here to set up HIAC. It has yet to be on any DVDs, so why not?

    Best

Holy shit, how could I forget about Mr. Perfect's theme? Easily one of the best. Also, on the subject of The Rock's many themes, my favorite would have to be the one he used at Summerslam 98, which I think he used up until a little before Survivor Series 98. It's the one on WWF The Music Vol. 3.

    Best

Well, my favorites are Bret Hart, Ted DiBiase, Steve Austin, and Christian's first opera theme among others. It's hard for me to pick just one.

WWE to show Wrestlemania Battle Royal

HHH eliminated Shelton Benjamin, and then HBK interfered and eliminated HHH, all while Kane just layed in the middle of the ring to win.
