On my Digital Cable, info given for 91 lists T2. But it did the same for Beavis & BUTT-Head in 93, and Fresh Prince in 90. I might have just missed Fresh Prince, though.

I watched some bad movies yesterday... The Sweetest Thing (1/10) Ready to Rumble (2/10)
-
I figure we'll probably get a Jericho-Batista rematch, at least, which won't be too bad.
-
Except for the first two times when he won by submission, but we don't count those for some reason.
-
So, how's HHH-Benoit so far?
-
Welcome to 3 months ago... Population: YOU. Seriously though, I've never had a problem with him.
-
Actually, he said the match was just as good as the Foley match, except this was Orton's best performance in leading a match.
-
Kane lost the exact same way he lost to X-Pac at No Way Out 2000. Except, Matt used a chair, and X-Pac used a dropkick.
-
My vote goes to... Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin (WM 13)
-
Summerslam 97: Owen broke Austin's neck. I remember thinking that Austin might be injured. Raw, Aug. 97: HBK officially turning heel by attacking Undertaker with the chair after the tag match (Taker & Mankind vs. HBK & HHH) Royal Rumble 04: Benoit winning the Rumble!

My predictions, including match order starting from the top... Jericho vs. Batista As Choken said, this could be one of the better matches. Both probably need the win, but I'd say Jericho needs it more so he can maybe get into the main event scene sometime soon. Prediction: Jericho Molly vs. Victoria This one is a toss-up. It'll probably be the standard womens match that we see every week on Raw. Trish needs a face contender, so I pick Victoria. Prediction: Victoria Tag Titles: La Resistance vs. Flair & Eugene La Resistance have been looking the most credible they've just about ever looked lately, so I don't think they'll take the belts off them yet, even if it means undefeated Eugene loses a tag match. I figure Flair will keep getting fed up and annoyed with Eugene, so Flair will be distracted and get hit by La Rez's finisher and be pinned. All of Evolution except for HHH are pissed that Eugene is an honorary member anyway, so this will make Flair even more pissed. Prediction: La Resistance Kane vs. Matt Hardy It's No DQ, so it might be a decent brawl, and Matt will probably take a few good bumps. I can't see Kane being beaten by Matt Hardy of all people, though, so I pick Kane. Prediction: Kane IC Title: Orton vs. Edge Sure, Edge said he would take Evolution down one by one, but I just can't see Orton losing the belt yet. Although, if Edge wants to maintain any credibility and keep going after Evolution, one by one, he'll have to lose cheaply here. Prediction: Orton World Title: Benoit vs. HHH I get the feeling that this is going to be slightly disappointing, but it shouldn't be that bad. They'll probably go about 35 minutes or so. Eugene will obviously play a part in the finish, so I figure he'll accidentally hit HHH with the belt/chair, and Benoit will lock in the Crossface, forcing HHH to tap out. I just can't see Benoit winning a title defense by pinfall, even with a diving headbutt. After Eugene costs HHH this match, HHH will maybe try to keep manipulating Eugene, if necessary, and it will cause more and more dissention in Evolution. Prediction: Benoit It looks like a decent show, but the only two matches I really want to see are Benoit-HHH and Jericho-Batista. The rest I really don't care about. I'm not ordering, mainly because I don't have the money around right now. I'll wait for the DVD.

I've been thinking about buying the big gold belt sooner or later. So, can anyone tell me if it's really worth it to spend an extra $100+ for the deluxe over just the ordinary adult replicas.

Was it ever explained why Jeff Jarrett attacked Owen Hart during his entrance in the 1998 Rumble? I remember watching it on PPV, and I was confused. I can only remember them having a few matches after the Rumble.

Wow, I actually enjoyed Smackdown this week. This was probably the best one since before Wrestlemania. Every match, except for the JBL match was good.

In March 2000, I won tickets to an ECW TV taping in Asbury Park, NJ, from the local newspaper. It was a drawing contest, for the record. I drew an awesome Tommy Dreamer hitting New Jack with a chair. Meanwhile, the OTHER winner drew a flaming table with the words "Don't try this at home" written above it. I was pissed that I put so much effort into mine, but that's not the point. I found out that I won when the newspaper called and told me. They told me info about where to get the tickets and all and said I'd be getting a surprise call later in the day. So, later, I get a call from Balls Mahoney, who's from NJ. He didn't sound too thrilled to be calling, but all he did was just give more info about the event and had the same ticket info. He gave me his phone number for any questions about the tickets, but then threatened, "If you give out the phone number to anyone else, I'll come to your house and hit you over the head with a steel chair!" I'm not kidding, either. I lost the number within a week.

I remember in one of the old WWF magazines, in either New Year Predictions or one of the Informer's columns, a Val-Test team was predicted. It said the team was going to be called the "Canadian Mafia" or something.

My wish (especially at last Summerslam, when they were both in the US Title 4 way) is that someone gets gored WHILE in the Tarantula. That actually happened in this years Rumble match. Tajiri had Mark Henry in the tarantula, and Rhyno Gored Henry, but Tajiri got eliminated.

I'm pretty sure London has been squashed one time or another by one of the many Smackdown hosses, but I remember London & Kidman teaming on the post-Royal Rumble Smackdown. And of course, he was in the battle royal a few weeks ago.
-
I was thinking during the match on Raw that after losing with Val, La Rez would give Rhyno one more chance at Vengeance, where he would team with Tajiri and win. But, then in the next segment, they made La Rez vs. Eugene & Flair. I can't see them switching the tag belts to a comedy team when for the first time in a long time, La Rez actually seem to have credibility. Maybe it'll be Rhyno & Tajiri teaming at Summerslam.

I've only met WWF guys like Mick Foley and Bret Hart at autograph signings in 1997, and nothing special happened. When the video game ECW Hardcore Revolution was coming out in 2000, I think, ECW had Nova and Danny Doring at Babbages for an autograph signing. It wasn't very crowded, but there were about 8 people gathered at the table just talking to them. I saw the Playstation in the corner of the store and started playing the game, and then Nova gets up and decides to face me in a match. I picked RVD, and he picks Big Sal in order to see the "fat ass move around the ring" (as he said). We played for about 5-10 minutes in just one match, and even Nova was saying how horrible the game was. We spent a few minutes just trying to figure out how to pick up weapons.

I voted Bradshaw. WWE should have at least given Bradshaw a mid-card push before skyrocketing to the main event World Title scene. He was in arguably the lowest match on the WM XX card.
