That's right, Vince had won the Royal Rumble earlier that year Meanwhile, Bradshaw's Royal Rumble appearance earlier in the year had him lasting less than a minute and being the first man eliminated.
-
Exactly. Sometime soon, Mordecai's going to have to destroy Rey. Maybe he'll destroy Rey and Eddie will take offense as his friend and they can feud. At least Mordecai's not like Bill DeMott when he debuted on Smackdown, destroying every known cruiserweight on the show, just to be ANGRY and INTENSE.

The Dudleys vs. London & Kidman sounds good for Velocity. If the Kidman-London team is permanent, this is just about the freshest tag team match they can have. I wish Haas was on Smackdown, though. Smackdown, on the other hand, looks like shit, as usual. Looks like Rey gets squashed, and I'm guessing that JBL chooses a jobber like Funaki or something. The Triple Threat might be good, and Luther vs. a referee... Yeah.

I'm pretty sure that Kane went unharmed. The only time I remember him being "hurt" from Shane was when Shane had his limo with Kane inside drive into the truck. The ninja was unmasked as Tori on Heat one week, and that was pretty much the end of it, I think. I don't think WWE ever acknowledged a streak. If they did, it wouldn't have gone long, as his first loss I can think of was at Summerslam to HHH in the Elimination Chamber.

Depending on who's available to go with, I might make it tommorrow night, but I'll see it by Saturday, latest. I can't wait.

Well, that's the non-storyline reason, but what about in-story?

What was the deal between Chyna and Miss Kitty. Was it ever explained why Kitty was dressing up like her, outside of the Master & Slave tops?

So far, I've only beat 7, but I haven't played into all the Wily stages for all the other games. The only new game to me is 8. Personally, here's how I rank the games, except 8, with the top being the best... 3 5 2 7 1 4 6 3 was one of the first games I ever played on NES. None of the games are anywhere near bad, but I just never liked the the characters in 6 and 4, except for basically Knight Man (6) and Pharoah Man (4).

Why? Nevermind

You want Bradshaw to be champion in order to make a message board thread more active and to make Smackdown worse. That makes sense...
-
Well, I'm 3 for 3 so far. Any word on match quality, so far?
-
I'd like Tajiri & Rhyno to keep going as a team. Raw needs the teams anyway. I can only think of La Rez, Hurricane & Rosey, and maybe pairings of Evolution.
-
I thought you would be able to save your game in the middle of the Wily stages. I was half way through them in VII, and I turned it off. Now I'm kind of pissed.

HHH vs. Mankind (Canadian Stampede) HHH vs. Owen Hart (WM XIV) I've heard HHH vs. Dude Love from One Night Only is really good, but I've never seen it.

They've been building it for a few weeks now. Bischoff said on Raw that HHH faces the champion at Vengeance. It's already set to be Benoit defending against Kane this Monday, so HHH likely gets the winner at Vengeance... most like HHH vs. Benoit. My predictions... Eddie vs. JBL IF I was ordering the PPV, this is probably the match I'd want to see most. But that's not saying much. I think it'll be better than Judgment Day, but it won't be anything really special. Eddie wins, I guess by touching all four turnbuckles, like JBL explained in the rules a few weeks ago. Prediction: Eddie Cena vs. RVD vs. Booker T vs. Dupree If everyone's in the ring at the same time, it won't be that good. At least it's being kept an elimination match, so it has some potential. I'm guessing Dupree goes first, then RVD, and then Booker, and Cena retains. Prediction: Cena Undertaker vs. Dudleys I have no desire to see this match, at all. The whole gimmick is rediculous anyway. And the match will be bad, and I'd say probably worse than Taker against Big Show & A-Train from WMXIX (which wasn't even that bad). I think the "right thing" is for Taker to pour the cement himself into the crypt, so I figure Taker obeys Heyman and it ends up a no contest. Prediction: No Contest Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo How many times do these two have to fight? I'm sick of it. It can be a good match, I'm not up for seeing it again, though. Rey just won the belt, so I predict him to keep it. Prediction: Rey Mysterio Mordecai vs. Hardcore Holly Oh joy, I can't wait for this one. Mordecai wins because he's Mordecai. Besides, with threats like, "I'm gonna CRUCIFY you!" how can you not win? It's sad that Holly was in the main event of a major PPV a few months ago. Prediction: Mordecai Billy Gunn vs. Kenzo Apparently, this was added on, because the world needed a decisive finish. Kenzo wins because he's Kenzo, who just debuted. This match should and will be awful. Prediction: Kenzo Torrie vs. Sable Torrie never jobs, so there. Prediction: Torrie Looks like a bad show, but probably better than Judgment Day. I won't be ordering though.

This was probably the best Smackdown in months, but that's not saying much. I actually really liked the battle royal and Taker vs. Cena. GAB still looks horrible, but better than Judgment Day. So they announced five matches... Eddie vs. JBL Taker vs. Dudleys Cena vs. RVD vs. Dupree vs. Booker T Mysterio vs. Chavo Sable vs. Torrie Any speculation on what the rest of the card will be? You have to figure we'll be treated to that inevitable Mordecai vs. Hardcore Holly match. Maybe, if we're lucky, there will be a Kidman & London vs. Noble & Nunzio match, but who am I kidding, two cruiserweight matches on a PPV? London on a PPV?
-
I like the poster, as it's much better than the usuals. But wait, Big Show's on the poster... does that mean he's NOT fired or DIDN'T quit for losing to Eddie and injuring Kurt?? Seriously though, here's the best poster of all time, at least IMO...
-
I'm pretty sure that it was Tom Brandi, only because Mero wasn't feuding with anyone else at that point. I actually remember one Shotgun Saturday Night were Tom Brandi was hanging out backstage flirting with Sable after Mero sent away from the ring.

Also from Canadian Stampede, HHH vs. Mankind is pretty good, minus the double-countout ending. Brock vs. Undertaker (HIAC) from No Mercy 2002 And wasn't the Kane vs. Albert IC Title match from after KOTR 01 really good too? I've heard of that reaching ***1/2.
