I'm guessing this thread was made to just speculate on the matches and not meant to last all the way up to May 16. Anyway, so the card right now is... Eddie vs. JBL Undertaker vs. Booker T Cena vs. Dupree You'd think the Dudleys face Haas & Rico for the Tag Titles, but I just can't see the Dudleys winning the belts off of a comedy team rather than Rikishi & Scotty, who we were supposed to see as credible champs. RVD is out of a match with Booker T, so maybe stick him in a match with the Dudleys, along with maybe Spike? Maybe it'll be an ECW Rules tag match between the Dudleys and RVD & Spike. I have no clue what they have planned for the rest, though.

In Friends, I HATE Phoebe with a passion. She's the only bad part about the show, IMO.

Orton/Shelton, Orton/Edge, Christian's Challenge
Aero replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
I wouldn't mind seeing a Benoit-Christian feud. It would definitely be better suited as a Raw-only program in the period where Smackdown is building to a PPV, like now, but obviously, Benoit is finishing up with HBK & HHH, first. As for Orton, I think they're going with the Edge feud first. Maybe have Edge feud with Orton up to Bad Blood, but have HHH cost him the match, setting up the feud that they've wanted to do since March, between HHH & Edge at Summerslam. Build Orton's feud with Shelton up to Summerslam, and have Shelton be the one to finally win the IC title off of Orton. That can leave a Benoit vs. Jericho main event for Summerslam, rumored to be in Canada. That might just be wishful thinking, though. -
Damn, I'm disappointed. I actually did watch Heat last night and thought it was a great match for Heat standards. Lance looked like he was having the time of his life with the Calgary crowd, even showing off here and there. I regret not taping the match. I still wish they reunited him with Dawn Marie, but looks like she's gonna get paired with Rene Dupree now.

I remember really liking the Lance Storm & RVD vs. Jericho & Christian match from the Raw where Storm officially turned face. And the first Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros Tag Title match from February was really good, too.

I've watched a bunch of movies between last night and today... Die Hard: With a Vengeance... 9/10 Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets... 7/10 Joe Dirt... 6/10 High Fidelity... 8/10

Compared to T&A vs. Headcheese (on the same show), that match wasn't that bad.

Kill Bill Vol. 1... 10/10

Anyone know what the WWF had planned for Ultimate Warrior when he made his return in 1996? Obviously, he got to feud with Lawler and got to START a feud with Camp Cornette before International Incident, but do you think he would've eventually got the title back by the end of the year or anything?

Best Movie Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl X2: X-Men United I wouldn't mind seeing any of these win, although we all know ROTK will likely take it. I pretty much enjoyed X2 and Pirates just about the same, and ROTK has that whole "epic" feel, so I wouldn't know which one to pick. Best Male Performance Johnny Depp - Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl I haven't seen 50 First Dates, Samurai, or Passion, so that leaves Lost and Pirates. I thought Lost was a tad overrated, but still really good. I just enjoyed Pirates more and liked Johnny Depp as Sparrow better. Best Female Performance Uma Thurman - Kill Bill Vol. 1 No doubt it was Uma. Even if the dialogue wasn't perfect in the movie, the action spoke alot louder than words. Best On-Screen Team Ben Stiller & Owen Wilson - Starsky & Hutch Depp & Bloom were good together, and Jack Black & the kids were pretty good, but I think Stiller & Wilson were hilarious together. Best Villian Kiefer Sutherland - Phone Booth It came down to Lui and Sutherland. I thought Lui was really good in her role, but I loved Phone Booth and Sutherland's performance. He had more villian traits, anyway, IMO. Best Comedic Performance Johnny Depp - Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl Jack Black - School of Rock This was tough for me. It came down to Depp and Black. I thought both of them were great in their roles, and I wouldn't mind seeing either of them win. Best Dance Sequence Seann William Scott - American Wedding Not a horrible dance sequence at all, and I haven't even seen any of the others, so this was an easy pick for me. Best Kiss Owen Wilson, Carmen Electra, and Amy Smart - Starsky & Hutch I don't even know what kiss it is from Bruce Almighty, so go with Starsky & Hutch. Best Action Sequence Battle at Gondor - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Haven't seen any of the others. Best Fight Uma Thurman vs. Chiaki Kuriyama - Kill Bill Vol. 1 Easy pick. Kill Bill was all about the fights. For Rundown, though, maybe it was just me, but I thought the opening scene at the night club was better.

I like most of the actors already mentioned, and just throw in John Cusack.

I haven't read into the results too in depth, but would the replay be worth ordering? I actually ended up trying to order last night, both at 8:00 and 11:00, and the cable company screwed up, so I missed it both times.
-
I wasn't too into last night's episode, either. I did laugh at Nelson's "Bros before hos" line to Krabople line, though.
-
The way Orton does the RKO, wouldn't that hurt him more than Foley?
-
I'm really looking forward to Foley vs. Orton, but I don't think I'm up for spending $35 tonight. I'll just have someone tape it for me.
-
Unless Big Show just takes the time off between now and Judgment Day, it'll probably be Big Show vs. Angle, Eddie vs. JBL, Cena vs. Dupree, Too Cool vs. Dudleys. Maybe a cage match between Booker and RVD.

When you're in a grapple near the table, you press C-Up in the direction of the table to put him on. To put him through, you have to use a strong grapple, I believe.

Triple Threat Match I pick Benoit winning, again, especially since its his hometown, and isn't it Chris Benoit Day? I don't think WWE's dumb enough to put the title back on HHH. It'll probably be good, but definitely not as good as WM. Prediction: Benoit Orton vs. Foley You'd figure Foley wins after being beat at Wrestlemania, but Orton has got to win here, again. If the IC title wasn't on the line, I'd go with Foley. Personally, I would've had Rock & Foley go over at WM, and just have Orton win here. I like the feud enough, so I figure they can pull out a good brawl. Prediction: Orton Flair vs. Benjamin Benjamin's on a roll, and there's no reason Flair should go over. I'm really looking forward to this one and think it can be good. Prediction: Benjamin Tajiri vs. Coach I guess I'd pick Tajiri, if only because he's the wrestler, but WWE logic is weird. Definitely only a "comedy" match. Prediction: Tajiri Kane vs. Edge It's Edge's return, and he needs the win to solidify him as a main eventer. He'll probably end up using the CAST of all things to win, too. I'm not expecting anything really good. Prediction: Edge Jericho vs. Trishtian Jericho wins by giving Trish the Walls. I'm half expecting Trish to dump Christian or vice-versa. Not as good as WM, though. Prediction: Jericho

This is probably one of my favorite movies, ever. I actually just bought in on DVD a few weeks ago. "Communism was just a red herring." I love the exchange between Wadsworth and Scarlet over how many bullets are left in the gun... Wadsworth: There's no more bullets left in that gun. Miss Scarlet: Oh, come on, you don't think I'm gonna fall for that old trick? Wadsworth: It's not a trick. There was one shot at Mr. Boddy in the Study; two at the chandelier; two at the Lounge door and one for the singing telegram. Miss Scarlet: That's not six. Wadsworth: One plus two plus two plus one. Miss Scarlet: Uh-uh... there was only one shot at the chandelier... that's one plus two plus ONE plus one. Wadsworth: Even if you were right, that would be one plus one plus two plus one, not one plus TWO plus one plus one. Miss Scarlet: Okay, fine. One plus two plus one - SHUT UP. The point is, there's one bullet left in this gun, and guess who's going to get it? Then when the police arrest her... (something along the lines of this...) Miss Scarlet: Don't hate me because I tried to shoot you, Wadsworth... Wadsworth: Frankly, Scarlet, I don't give a damn.

Exactly, does that mean not as many recaps on Velocity and Heat now?

I'm backing Link to the Past all the way. It's my favorite game of all time.

I don't mind Nunzio so much, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see him go back to Little Guido.
-
I'm not sure on whether or not I'm actually going to order, but it looks good enough for me, although I'd much rather see Benoit vs. HBK in a singles match. The only bad matches I see are Tajiri vs. Coach and Victoria vs. Lita. I don't think Benjamin is stale at all, and his match with Flair is what I'm probably looking forward to most. The show looks much better than any past Raw PPVs, though.

Smackdown went down for me when Benoit left, mostly, but Bradshaw in the main events and Angle not wrestling isn't helping much either. Maybe we should change the WWE forum's description. Here's the old one... "Come here to discuss the latest Smackdown, or bitch about the latest Raw."
