    WWE No Way Out 2009

Oh wow, Edge out via small package, before the first entrant comes out.

    WWE No Way Out 2009

I figured one of the EC matches would open, but I thought it would definitely be Raw since SD has more main eventers. When's the last time Undertaker was the first person out at a PPV?

    WWE No Way Out 2009

I'd predict the 6 or 8-Man tag match as well, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it left at only five matches. They could always just give more time to the EC matches, or devote time to an angle/promo with anyone left off (probably Christian).

    Your FIRST Live Show

I went to that, too. I was sitting along the aisle with my two brothers, one of which brought a Hogan sign. When Hogan came out for the rematch with Billy & Chuck, he grabbed the sign and played it like a guitar. Of course, when we went to watch it on TV later in the week, just as Hogan approached us... "Let's recap what happened last week!". And then he's already in the ring.

    Your FIRST Live Show

Summerslam 97. I was sitting right above the entrance, although it's tough to actually see me since the crowd is pretty dark. This was probably the height of my markdom, so I thought it was the greatest thing ever, at the time. I was a huge Taker fan, and was kind of indifferent to the Harts. I never completely hated Bret since he had been one of my favorites for so long, but I always sided with Austin, Taker, or HBK since it was USA vs. Canada during this period. I was cheering for Taker in the main event, but I knew Bret was going to win as soon as he announced that he'd never wrestle in the US if he lost. Even as a mark I could call bullshit to stipulations like that. HBK costing Taker the match and the feud that followed did cause me to hate HBK for a long time, though.
  10. Didn't Undertaker also call Matt Hardy a "mark for himself" when he didn't take a Tombstone at Survivor Series 05?

    LOST

Lostpedia definitely has them, but they might only be spread out among the individual topics. IGN has frequently done unanswered questions columns with info updated each time, too.

    LOST

I'm missing what this references exactly. Well, that's the thing... just about no one usually does listen to him. That would be why Jack, Kate, and Sayid among others don't like him very much. Last season, Claire, Sawyer, and Hurley followed him based on Charlie's warning. This season, Sawyer and everyone else are kind of, um, lost with the skipping island. When Locked showed up, he at least had an idea of what to do to stop the skipping. As crazy as his idea sounds, what else would they do? Faraday seems to know what's happening, but I'm not sure if he knows how to actually stop it.

    LOST

Jin and Sawyer interacting = hilarity ensuing, usually. Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no time for that, as Jin is wondering about Sun. And hey, apparently Jin found the Others' Temple?

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

I have no desire to see HHH vs. Edge, and that's more to do with their characters than anything else. Both have just become way too stale. In regards to HHH, it's not even the usual HHHate... I just think he needs that heel turn to freshen up, since he's not showing any signs of going away anytime soon. I get the feeling he's only face so they can do the DX reunion every few months. Edge is a different case. I usually enjoy his matches for the most part, but the Vickie Guerrero stuff is usually why I don't bother watching Smackdown. They had a perfect opportunity last summer to give Edge his edge back (no pun intended) when he left Vickie and destroyed Foley in preparation for HIAC... then he comes back alongside Vickie, playing the chickenshit heel here and there. It's way too much of a step backwards for him.
  16. This. Without spoiling anything specific, there's also just way too much rehashing of stuff done in previous seasons, and so many of the minor characters just come off as annoying and unlikeable, making it torture to sit through the seemingly massive amount of screen time provided to them.
  17. I'm back and forth between season 1 and 5 being the best. The only season I'd even consider bad is season 6, but it's worth watching at least once if you plan on catching up with the current season. The first four episodes of season 6 are really good, and then it dies, with the exception of one episode toward the later part of the season. I've been enjoying season 7 so far. It hasn't been near season 1 or 5 levels of greatness, but it's far from the worst. Everyone in the other thread seems to be in agreement that the episode that just aired was awesome for the most part. Kiefer Sutherland is signed on to an 8th season. I assume that'll probably be it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more added.

    24 -- Season 7

The Dubaku/girlfriend stuff is very dumb, but I'm willing to look past it if it ends next week, which it looks like it might. I've been really enjoying this season, otherwise. Besides, it seems that almost every season of 24 must have its own small, dumb sub-plot: Season 1 had amnesia, Season 2 had Kim Bauer vs. the Couger/secluded Johnny Drama, Season 3 had Chloe bringing the baby into CTU: BUT WHOSE BABY IS IT REALLY!?, Season 4 had Driscoll's crazy daughter, and Season 6 had CTU setting up a sting operation via help from a retard. I am drawing a blank on Season 5's, if it exists.

    24 -- Season 7

The episode last night was pretty awesome. I definitely wasn't expecting Henry Taylor to get shot. You just had to laugh at the awesomeness of Jack's response to the President's initial unwillingness to trust Jack: "With all due respect, ASK AROUND." According to next week's preview, the FBI mole will be revealed. I thought it was just going to end up being that SWAT agent from the first few episodes, but I guess not. Considering we only know five FBI agents at this point, I'm assuming the reveal is supposed to be someone "big" so we can all say, "OMG ___ was the mole all this time!" I'll predict the girl Sean is sleeping with if only because anyone else would be really dumb. That said, I wouldn't be completely shocked if it's Moss.

    SNL 2/7

I thought Bad Guys, Good Conversations had a lot of potential, but it just wasn't funny to me. Plus, Andy's Hans Gruber impression sucked.

Best Live Show that you've attended

Probably Royal Rumble 2004. The undercard sucked for the most part, although HBK-HHH seemed much better in person, but the Rumble match more than makes up for everything else. It helps that it was one of the best Rumble matches, too. Summerslam 97 gets a mention for being my first live event. The first Raw of 2006 had the Cena-Angle first blood match, and this was near the height of the Cena-hate. I've usually never been to an event with more than 3 people including myself, so going with 7 here was a blast if only for the main event.
  23. In the spring of 98, Terry Funk & Scorpio had been teaming up, and they were even the last team eliminated from the tag team Royal Rumble on Raw in June. Then within a few weeks, they were teaming Scorpio with Faarooq, and at Fully Loaded, they fought against Funk & Bradshaw. Now, this was during the time period were the WWF just seemed to add random matches to the PPVs to fill up time, so I know there wasn't really any particular feud going into that match, other than the story that Bradshaw ended up turning on Funk post-match. But my question is, why did Faarooq replace Funk?
