Having read the book and seen the movie, I can tell you that Kubrick does a VERY good job bringing the literature to life. However, he takes some "creative liberties", cutting out entire parts of the book and changing others to suit his film better. The film's a little bit on the long side, however, running at around 136 minutes.

I guess this crumb has to rally up some support before he can get his stupid self enough guts to take a real shot at a guy that comes packed with as much action as Johnson. From what I hear, you can't do that without being exactly like me. And if you were just like me, you'd be ripping me off. So I guess this pretty much slims all your odds, wannabes. I've taken shots at Johnson in the past...during your absence, to be exact. Do some research before you run your mouth next time. And you seem to have some sort of issue with me. Excellent contribution. Jackie has been much more visually appealing lately. I remember a few weeks ago when she came out in some outfit that covered her entirely, yet was a thong in the back. And King didn't say ANYTHING about it. The only reason that I noticed was when people in the audience were taking pictures and pointing at it.

Is that really such a bad thing? The new Britney single is atrocious. I watched the video and was utterly amazed by the amount of suck that came from my television. But, I'm not the one buying the CD, so my opinion means nothing. But hell, everyone and their mother loves Britney Spears. My ex-girlfriend...a hardcore punk...ADORES Britney Spears for some reason. She made me buy her "Crossroads" for Christmas. Then she made me watch it. There's something about her that drive the kids mad. As far as the degeneration of modern music goes, I'm going to blame Linkin Park and Good Charlotte...because EVERYTHING is their fault.

Upon second viewing, the film is still excellent. I caught a few little bits that I missed the first time around, and felt that I understood the plot much better. I've actually come across people that think that this film is awful. How is that possible?

Is there a particular reason for this "holier-than-thou" attitude that you're sporting, or are you just an ass all the time? Boondock Saints is a great movie. It was recommended several times by good friends of mine, so I finally got around to watching it. I found the usage of classical music to be great, especially during the "firefight" scene. Dafoe does a great job as Smecker, and I didn't see a whole lot of this "scene chewing" that you referenced. The only downside to the movie that I saw was that the mafia members were made out to be incredibly weak and inept at all times. All in all, a great film.

The scene where Alex sings, "Singing in the Rain" was also quite the spectacle.

By far, my favorite scene of the movie is when... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): They come across Billy Boy's gang in the theatre and proceed to have a gang fight. Just the image of the four of them standing there, spread out against the back wall, slowly walking forward, and then the way that Alex talks shit to Billy Boy just had a strange effect on me. Plus, if you watch closely, Alex nails Billy Boy in the face with a SWANK bicycle kick. As far as modern comparisons go, anyone catch any of those?

There are few exceptions, I will give you that. However, unless the fat girl in mention has never given head before, odds are they rock the world at it. There's an insanely large girl at my school (6'4", 240) that my best friend used to date, and he (and pretty much every other guy who's been with her says that she gives the most amazing head ever. She's a campus legend for it...that and that once, in 8th grade, she sucked dick in exchange for a bottle of Jack Daniels.
