Bloody Joe rising behind Angle made me happy. I want that match. Please TNA take my money.
-
I smell money in that ring.
-
He was brought back when Jarrett passed that part of the lie detector test.
-
God Bless the LAX. Every week they just rule that much harder. I hope they win at BFG. I'd love to see them face Team 3D in a nice little feud. They have so many fresh matches for LAX as champs. ... Then AJ and Daniels can go back to the X division where they belong.
-
It's about time someone took Jarrett's side in these promos.
-
I'm going to the show. And the fanfest the day before. I don't know why I bought tickets to the fanfest...I hate autograph signings. They're awkward and lame.
-
I don't know how good they are...I just know they're good. Up until halfway through the first period against New York...they hadn't really played that well... And they've still beaten 6 straight playoff teams. Miller is awesome. The defense is super. And everyone on the team scores. I just feel like they really built something special.

I really really like my team. God I like my team. ... And hey...Thomas Vanek showed up.
-
Well...I got my power back a week ahead of when they said I would. And as for my first post back: GO SABRES!
-
It didn't have one in my living room either. Seriously... I assume it will get better. This is the network that keeps the Office on afterall...someone around must know what funny is.

TNA Impact Spoilers for 10/14 and 10/21
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Blade2kxx's topic in TNA Wrestling
Well...Sabin is in for some more trouble when Austin Aries returns. He's so going to be so over the top ridiculous that he'll stand out over the X division B team. Sabin's problem is that he's supposed to be the top X division face and no one has figured out how to make people like him for anything but being a good worker. At least Lethal's black and Sonjay's indian. Sabin is just generic white guy... Seriously what reason does anyone have to be rooting for Sabin at this point? Even without the stupid Jackass stuff? He's been doing the same thing for the last 2 years now...only now its with Senshi and Shelley instead of Petey and Bentley. ... Ok...there's 2 guys with less going for them than Sabin...I'll give him that. -
OAO "Holy shit, Kurt Angle is in TNA now" thread...

See...just putting Joe opposite him makes me forget that they've dropped Joe's ball. -
Sabres survive the Senators and move to 3-0.

Kevin Nash re-signs with TNA
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
"TNA signed Kevin Nash to a new deal in the last several days. I am told there are no plans for Nash to wrestle in the immediate future, if at all, and he'll likely end up working as an antagonist for the X-Division again in a advisor role for Alex Shelley to help build Shelley's star. TNA is already promoting Nash will have a "major announcement" regarding the Bound for Glory PPV on next week's Impact, which will be taped this Monday in Orlando, Florida. " -PWInsider ... That makes me like it. Shelley needs Nash to seperate himself from the pack. Shelley might be great...but having Nash in his corner gets him screen time and a push. -
Kevin Nash re-signs with TNA
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
The fucked up thing is that they accidentally found the right way to use Nash the last time. Not with the Nash vs. the X division storyline... But putting Alex Shelley with him. Shelley has lost all of his steam since Nash left...They should dump Devine and have vignettes of Nash (who is an undefeated X division superstar) training Shelley on his quest to become X division champion. Hilarity. -

I really enjoyed him with Shelley. I hope thats what this means. Papparazzi back to the top of the world. ... Keep him in that managers role and good times. -

2006 TNA Televised Win-Loss Records
The Ghost of bps21 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in TNA Wrestling
I know that Christian lost the King of the mountain match... but what was his other loss? I know I'm going to kick myself when I find out...as I know I watched the match... -
The show is still really good... But its kind of collapsing under the weight of Jim and Pam not being in the same office. It throws off the entire dynamic of the show. Inevitibly, it would seem, the Stamford branch will be sucked into the Scranton branch and Jim will have a new girlfriend. It's an interesting take on the Jim/Pam relationship... But as a fan of the original I recognize that the dynamics of the show really thrive on Jim's character longing for Pam's character. I'm sure that Jim and his new gf will force Pam back with Roy...and that's great in an "you can see it coming a mile away" way... But... IMO... The show is sorta failing in the respects that made it great right now. I understand that they need to make the Jim/Pam thing stay fresh for 22 eps a year for (hopefully) the next 5 years... But I'm just not convinced that seperating them is the answer. I thought they went to far with the kiss and the "I'm in love with you" at the end of last season. They could have gotten another 2 seasons of mileage out of the relationship the way that was. Now...ratings may have dictated to them that they had to do it...as they may not last long enough to blow off the storyline... But now what? Ratings are better, they won the emmy...and they aren't going anywhere. And you can never go back. The Jim/Pam relationship has lost all of the playful innocence that made it the best thing on TV. And you can never go back.

Christian so out-heeled JJ it wasn't even funny. Actually it was funny...I'm just surprised that Jarrett let it happen.

Yes, what a prideful cup victory. Facing a team short their biggest playmaker and 4 of their 6 defenseman and barely escaping in 7 in the ECF... And then barely skating past a backup goaltender in 7 in the Cup finals. If ever there was a team that just lucked into a friggin championship it is the 05-06 Carolina Hurricanes.
-
1-0-0 Go Sabres. Can't wait to go to the home opener on Friday. Hey Cam Ward...an almost healthy (still missing our biggest playmaker) Sabres team says eat your fucking banner and choke on it beacause you can not and will never stop Daniel Briere. Fuck the Canes. It's go time.

Who would have thought that working with Scott Steiner would be the peak of Joe's TNA run so far? They should have kept that feud going. There was still juice in it...and it's not like they had a plan for Joe after it was over. I think TNA's problem is that they look at moving Joe up the ladder as more "making people think of Joe as a top guy like our other top guys who aren't in his league..." and not "Hey Joe's the man". They should just refocus his character on dominating people until he faces Angle.
-
I remember Meltzer saying a while back that the plan for Joe was for him to be the top guy...but he's got a long contract and there was no rush. The problem they've run into is that he's been undefeated for a ridiculous long time...pinned the champion clean twice... And there's still no end game in sight for when the move is made. It would seem that since he's carrying around the belt right now that he isn't far off from that storyline...but then he gets booked into Monsters Ball with 3 guys that he isn't feuding with. That's not just unfair to Joe...its kind of unfair to the other 3 guys too. They've been feuding with each other for a couple of months...and now on the "blowoff" ppv...none of them are going to win the match. ... That being said...I don't really have an answer for what they should have done with Joe given that Sting already had the title shot. Putting him with Runt and Abyss and Raven brings up some fresh and good opponents...and there really isn't a "name" like Lyger last year that I can think of worth bringing in. At least being in Monster's Ball gives him a chance to put on a spectacle that might be able to compete with LAX/AJDaniels as a showstopper. ... If the X division hadn't fallen on such hard times I'd have had Senshi vs. Joe and had Joe lose. Sounds strange...but at least it would give credability to Senshi and the title. And it's not like Joe's star isn't fading anyway. Well...whatever. As soon as he stands accross from Angle in the ring I get the feeling that his spark will be completely reignited anyway.
-
Stings being offered the deal because they never got around to having him face anyone but JJ. Joe, Christian, Angle, Abyss... Stings second year would be a hell of a lot more interesting than his first.
