Jamie Fox tried to cover up his laughing at that one.

I wish the Oscars crowd was like a wrestling crowd. Imagine Jennifer Aniston coming out to a "You got dumped" chant. Brings a smile to my face.

NONSENSE!!!

She looks good for her age. Damn it... I still want to nail Dolly Parton.

Boo Fucking Hoo Jon Boo Fucking Hoo. Anyway...I haven't listened to the track yet. But I wish they'd leak me a demo of The Blues. That was the best song of three songs he played in his brief comeback a few years ago (Although the song Chinese Democracy did rock pretty hard live) Anyway...back to Bon Jovi... I think what pisses him off is that if he disapeared for 13 years...not only would no one notice...but it would take about a year for everyone to forget who he was.

Is baseball really a joke nationally?
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Sports
I must be stupid because I still don't really know what "national pastime" means. More people watch football...but that doesn't make it better. That may sound like a straight opinion...but let's just take a look at memorable sports moments, shall we? The the Panthers and Patriots played in the SuperBowl was the same year that the Marlins played the Yankees in the World Series. I use those 2 series because it was (IMO) the best football playoffs I can recall. I remember how great that SuperBowl was...and all the great games leading up to it... But not one thing from the playoffs (which...as already stated alot more people watched) was nearly as memorable a sports moment as Boone hitting that homerun against Boston...or Steve Bartman reaching for the baseball...or that Boston and Chicago were both 5 outs away from the Series when they imploded. Almost every great sports moment is a baseball moment. At least in my opinion... When you tell your children about the sports you watched growing up...You'll tell them about Boone's HR, Bartman's Boner, the Sox finally winning and coming back down 0-3 to the almighty Yankees, every Perfect Game you've seen... And also that the Patriots won a few SuperBowls in less memorable fashion. Anyway...that's what "pastime" means to me. -
Tna notes from Observer newsletters 2/27 & 3/6 !!
The Ghost of bps21 replied to a topic in TNA Wrestling
"According to Dave Meltzer, TNA is working to finalize Team UK for the X Cup this week as Doug Williams, Nigel McGuiness, Jonny Storm and Jody Fleisch." Well...they'd get this right. "- PWInsider reports that the Ultimate X match is scheduled to go on last at the Destination X PPV." This too. But I'm sure that will be rebutted by the "Christian's first title defense isn't the main event when JJJ's always is" argument that Desperate Houswife will be starting as soon as he logs in. -
I liked him on RAW for 3 years and he never got stale to me. I sure as hell liked him better than watching Vince out there.

ECW One Night Stand II-It's Official
The Ghost of bps21 replied to ANKLELOCK's topic in The WWE Folder
I agree 100% that if the WWE is ever going to put the title on RVD they should do it at ONS II. That being said... I don't think the WWE is ever going to put the title on RVD. -
BIG announcement expected backstage on Monday
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Dips's topic in The WWE Folder
But if Chris Benoit were a fireman...he would scoop all of Angle's 9/11 heat. ... Kudos to anyone who remembers it. -
I'll be as nice about this as possible, becuase I like (and have attended 4 shows of) the RoH product. There isn't a tenth of something that RoH can do for someone that TNA can do at this point. Over a MILLION PEOPLE watch Impact right now. MILLION. MILLION. MILLION. A MOTHER FUCKING MILLION PEOPLE...people. When you run that company. And you have a ppv that your CONTRACTED workers are booked for. You protect your investment and try to get them home. Hell...it's not like Gabe can't just announce a "Big Surprise" that falls flat and appease the "RoH and no one else" hardcore fanbase anyway.
-
I decided that I'm gonna go to this show. It's only a 5 hour drive if I cut through Canada. And it certainly isn't every day that TNA is that close to home.
-
I might buy Action. I don't know yet. I saw 2 eps...and I kind of liked them... So...if I ever want to see the rest...I guess this is it.
-
Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.
-
None of this would be happening if bps was still a mod. I may have only looked after this one folder... but I kept it clean.

Eeyore owns all.
-
"WWE might let CM Punk go at some point, but then again, they might just keep him so TNA can't have him" ... Well...it is why they signed him in the first place.
-
They should have had Vicky cost Rey the match and then explain that she had conspired with Orton to kill her husband to make his path to the title easier.
-
Randy Orton sucks. That's what I have to add to this thread. Luckily, this is the WWE folder...so it's actually of average insightfulness.

"Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the creators of The Office, will hop across the pond to work on their show's American counterpart. Mr. Gervais and Mr. Merchant will write an episode of NBC's version of The Office sometime next season, NBC tells Zap2it.com. Reports about their involvement surfaced in the British press earlier this week. The NBC hit sitcom has been picked up for a third season of 22 episodes after the show increased its viewing figures by 67% to an average of 10 million a week. This could mean the possibility of syndication in the future, grossing billions of dollars. Gervais acts as Executive Producer on the show and has reportedly already made more from the remake than from the original. Apart from change of format deals, The Office is shown in over 80 countries making it the BBCÕs most successful comedy export of all time. "I had extended an open invitation for them to write or direct at any time, but I think they were smart to wait until we had developed our own following and our own style," says Greg Daniels, executive producer of NBC's Office. " -RickyGervais.com AWESOME!!!!!!!!
-
"As we noted earlier today, NWA champion Christian Cage will be appearing on the TNA house show on 3/17 in the Detroit, Michigan market. The local promoters intend to announce his opponent next week." -PWInsider.com So he will be wrestling on the show.
