Lamb's supposed to be one dimensional. It's what makes him so great.

Spike TV pressing for more WAR on Monday Night
The Ghost of bps21 replied to a topic in TNA Wrestling
I haven't watched Raw without fast forwarding in nearly 3 months. I'm not some TNA elitist...even when I was full bore on their bandwagon (which I guess I still am) I watched Raw, Smackdown and bought ppvs from WWE all the time. They just don't do it for me anymore. At all. I look forward to TNA. I watch a lot of RoH. WWE just isn't giving me the thrills or great wrestling that I want out of a wrestling show. For what I want out of a show (you know...quality) WWE is bringing up the rear by such a large margin at this point...that I can barely watch it. ... It's barely WATCHABLE. -
They need to put Strong into a tag team with either Shelley or Aries for a while. It's a good way to get over...and a good way to get known. Look at Bentley and Kazarian. Their tag team was much better for them than their singles roles...and I didn't even LIKE either of them before they started teaming. Strong I like. In fact I think Strong was the best signing of the year so far. This guy has future superstar all over him. Moreso than Aries or Shelley IMO. He's just so freaking good.

TNA only has a couple of guys his size. Jarrett, Truth, Raven, Rhino, Hardy But Christian vs. Styles and Daniels is just so much more interesting to me. Although now that I look at it...I could watch a Raven/Christian feud.

"The Messiah of The Backbreaker" isn't causing people to rush to the studios either. TNA is kind of hit and miss with the nick-names so far. "Samoan Submission Machine" Good "Original Playa from the Himalaya" Not so good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like "The Messiah of the Backbreaker" more than "The Samoan Submission Machine". Although that one is growing on me.

There are a couple of other problems with Sonjay... 1. Everyone else I listed has had a memorable showing at some point either in TNA or in RoH. Sonjay hasn't. 2. Everyone else seems to keep improving as their careers progress (most of these guys haven't been in the business long. Other than Daniels...Styles is pretty much the veteran there at a whopping near 7 years (I think)). Sonjay doesn't. Part of that is because he is the official TNA spot monkey. A label originally owned by the Amazing Red.

RACISM!!! Anyway...the reason I think Dutt is falling behind in the poles... Everyone else in the division is better. Styles, Daniels, Joe, Sabin, Petey, Aries, Strong, Shelley...maybe not Bentley...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I forgot how good this was. That's how you wash away years of misuse. The last time anyone had seen Austin he was losing to Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Then he cut this gem.
-
And we don't really want this folder turning into THAT place...
-
Even though I'm not a huge fan of them... He NEEDS to go to TNA and cut a bitter promo about the lack of opportunity in the WWE. Instant career rebirth.

Holcombs not to blame. Since I haven't done it since the aforementioned "Just give it to them" game... I blame the officials. And Tom Clements for calling a passing play at any point in the 4th quarter.
-
True. But at least in Madden they get the replays correct.
-
If everyone can turn to the last page of your scripts.
-
I'm having flashbacks to the "Just give it to them" game.

Be careful. Speaking ill of the McMahons is like threatening the President. They will eliminate you.

Yeah...but there's a reason that hollywood always uses the same endings too... we keep watching. even though we know. ... and hate it.

As far as HBK/RVD... can I use the excuse that it was HBKs THIRD MATCH back after the injury and the only one that wasn't gimmicked to all hell? His match with HHH at Summerslam sucked by the way...but it was booked to be enjoyable. The third match was the first Elimination Chamber btw...
-
That's more like it. I'm going back to my losing by 3 scores prediction. 24-3.
-
Shut your hole. As a Bills fan I find it completely refreshing to watch a Bills/Pats game into the second half without laughing at the score every time I look up. Who cares that the Patriots haven't even shown up to the field yet...and the Bills still can't find the endzone. ... I'm hungry.

Well...when I look at this primetime special...all I can think of is reading reviews afterwards on the Torch and Observer sites about how much better TNA's 2 hours were than your Raw's and your Smackdown's... Part of that is obviously because it's bigger for TNA than Raw or Smackdown is to WWE...but that doesn't matter since I think Impact is better than Raw and Smackdown at one hour. The problem is that no one will watch it. The numbers might be better than anything that TNA has done...(and they'd really kind of have to be with it on at 9) but they won't do a third of a Raw rating. So who's to blame? The sheer amount of cost that it would take to break into the identity of "Wrestling = WWE" through marketing would sink the richest of rich people. TNA isn't doing themselves any favors since the only reason that I know Roderick Strong from Austin Aries is that I watch Ring of Honor. There is no draw to watching these shows...except for the shows themselves. People watch Raw because it's on...and their used to it...and they know they hate HHH and like John Cena. People watch Impact because they turned it on once and it was completely refreshing. That will only last so long. It's time for some long term character building. It's past due, in fact. ... I don't know why people watch Smackdown.

Well it looks like my prediction of losing by 3 scores is in jeopardy. I have a dream. I HAVE A DREAM!!! And that dream is that my Bills will only lose by...2 SCORES!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Moral victories rule!!!!
-
Join the club. On a side note...The ESPN crew spent a full minute saying that the Bills little pitch option play was ridiculous before realizing it converted a third down.
-
Well that's an even better reason to drop him. All TNA has are little guys. They need to put an emphasis on the importance of their victories. They've done that well in the past. Abyss never loses to anyone...but he also never beats AJ Styles. They should put Hoyt in a sink or swim feud with Christopher Daniels. Put Daniels over...and if the matches aren't decent...fire Hoyt.
