I hereby dub this...the week of the rerelease!!!! Punky Brewster season 1? What the potatoes?

I've become a recent fan of Westerns. Outside of The Shootist...I'm really not that big of a John Wayne fan. I like Clint Eastwood's westerns a million times more...and if it weren't for the last 15 minutes or so, Open Range was a great movie to. Just turn it off after the awesome shootout.

Since my dream spinoff sitcom of Spike, Andrew and one-eyed Xander sharing an apartment in New York City while looking for love in all the wrong places didn't come through... None of yours should either.

FINALLY!!! WE'RE #1!!!! 4 straight SuperBowl losses. Music City Miracle. No Goal. No Goal 2. Losing a professional Basketball franchise. Losing in the AFL Championship Game heading into SuperBowl 1. 6 Finals appearances in our 2 pro sports...0 Championships. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!

--Jerry Jarrett remains in the hospital due to apparent heart problems. Jarrett was light headed and his heart was racing when he was rushed from the Fairgrounds yesterday afternoon to the hospital by ambulance. He arrived with a badly accelerated heart rate, which at last word was under control with medication. He will be in the hospital for at least a few days and won't be back to work for at least a little while. --A.J. Styles needed six stitches above the right eyefrom a hardway juice from Jeff Jarrett's guitar shot. He was taken to the hospital after the show, stitched up, and released. He didn't suffer a concussion and will be wrestling his scheduled IWA match with Petey Williams this weekend. --The Sonjay Dutt-Amazing Red match nearly didn't take place as Dutt was suffering bad back spasms from an automobile accident, but after being worked on by the trainer all afternoon, he did the match. --From all live reports, next week's show, which has all been taped, is a strong show, due to Ultimate X, some good spots in the ladder match, and a strong gauntlet match as well as one great tag match that was taped a week ago. It will be weird to view because matches were taped out of order. The matches taped last night had great heat, and the matches taped the previous week didn't.

Yeah. It's kind of hilarious the way it worked out. Their time slot in Philly is better than their timeslot everywhere else.

Taped Last Week: Elix Skipper & Christopher Daniels b Johnny Devine & Bobby Rude (said to be the best match all night) Ryuji Hijikata & Mitsu Hirai Jr. b Abismo Negro & Heavy Metal Eric Young won ladder match over Jerry Lynn, Taichi Ishikari and Mr. Aguila - Cool spots but crowd was totally dead for this match. Most of the crowd left before it started Taped yesterday: Chris Sabin won the three-way over Petey Williams and Hector Garza under Ultimate X rules to win the X Cup. This gets funny later. They film the celebration. However, after the PPV ended, they taped the gauntlet (Rumble rules) match which may end up being next week's opener. In that one, Hector Garza pinned Elix Skipper to win. Both of these matches were said to have been really good. Ultimate X was said to have blown away anything on tonight's show, gone more than 15:00 and on par with the first Ultimate X match. Gauntlet match also good. Reports are next week's PPV is a strong show. .................................................... It is silly that they had to tape it out of order....but they couldn't expect the crowd to stay put while they set up the Ultimate X set-up after the show either. I like how they booked NWA's win. XXX won the tag match, and Sabin won the Ultimate X. Which makes sense...as they were more experienced in those matches than their opponents. The reason there are only 3 people in the Ultimate X match is that the team with the lowest points is eliminated before the final match (which was team Japan). Team Canada earned points for winning the ladder match, Team AAA earned points for winning the Gauntlet, Team NWA earned points for both the tag match and finishing second in the Gauntlet (the last two people got points)....and team Japan only got points for their tag win...which was worth the least.

Yeah a couple of times. He hit a beauty of one on Sabin in the team NWA vs. team Canada 8 man a couple weeks ago.

He certainly knows enough to stop Wes' bullets and kill a human. He wins in a squash.

Are we going to do Angel seasons? This last one was by far the best, IMO. It had the best 3 episodes in the series whole run (A Hole in the World, Not Fade Away and You're Welcome) To rank them: 5 4 3 1 2

Xander vs. Gunn! Gunn. Easily. Willow vs. Illyria! Willow. Sorry. Buffy vs. Angel! Buffy. He's still a vampire. Giles vs. Wesley! Giles. Don't try to tell me otherwise. Giles' magic would have smoked that guy who killed Wes. Andrew vs. Lorne! Lorne. Spike BS vs. Spike AS! As in Before Soul and After Soul? I'll take the one without the soul. He never cried about his mom before.

I know he's going to be doing the job ASAP to JJ...but I'd really rather he do it than Styles. A year ago he was jobbing to David Flair...and 6 months ago he wasn't even on the show... But he's still over. Losing to Jarrett isn't going to affect that...and Styles shouldn't be laying down for JJ again anyway. I look at this as a way of further elevating the Truth to a believable top contender.

I don't see what's not to get about the ending. What's the last image you see? Angel fighting. What's the last image in Buffy? Buffy being done fighting. Each finale perfectly represented the characters and where they stood after their shows had ended.

Well...as a huge Truth fan I'm very excited over the move. I know it won't last long...but it was a pleasent surprise.

The main event is an interesting idea, I think. The problem is that the 3 guys not named AJ Styles aren't very good workers. I'd probably start off with AJ vs. Harris and then add Truth in first, since his moves and he in general tend to pop the crowd. Then Raven can come in last to make it a 4 way. Raven's work has been flat out bad.

That's because she was the PLOT DEVICE THAT AFFECTED WESLEY'S STORY ARC. How many ways can I say the same thing until you realize we are both saying the SAME THING.

1. When did I say plot device was bad? 2. All of the things you just described are listed right after the words "plot device" in the dictionary.

That's fine and all...my point is Illyria is just a plot device for Wesley's story arc. Is it a bigger arc? Sure. But it's still a plot device.

I listen to the radio broadcast. John Madden makes me hit the mute button.

It's supposed to. All Illyria represents at this point is a reminder to Wesley that he has nothing. How she would have been used if the show would have gotten another year...that's something we'll never know. But as of the end of this year...she's just a plot device for another character. Kind of how Anya's death just became a plot device for Andrew's story arc.

Hey look at that. I could have afforded to buy the rights to the NHL broadcasting. NFL TV rights: Billion Dollars. NHL TV rights: ...um...do you have a station? FREE!!!

I have no problem with bunting to break up a perfect game. If Schilling would have fielded his position...he'd have made that out anyway. When the game is 2-0 or 1,000,000-0 for that matter, the team that's losing still has a chance to win until the final out. There's no clock...so if you keep getting hits...you will always have a chance to come back.
