I was going to vote Denzel too...I just think he could play suave mother fucker better than the others... But I went with Guy Pearce for no particular reason. Anyone but Hugh Jackman.

1. Cobb would be in jail if he was around today. He makes the worst most dispicable athlete you can think of look like a saint. 2. The testiment to how great Cobb was is seen in the first HOF class...where despite being hated by everyone...he recieved more votes than anyone else who had played the game...including Ruth. It's only in the time since they've both died that people started saying Ruth was better...the people that were around at the time saw it the other way. 3. I must have been mistaken. I thought I lived in a world where Barry Bonds got more media attention than any other athlete today. How much more time can the media really spend calling him the greatest player in the game today and then putting his name up there with the Ruth's, Cobb's, Mantle's, Dimaggio's, Williams's and Mays's...even with the whole steroids issue looming...before he gives up this "whole world is against me because I'm black" routine? He's the best. We know he's the best. People don't like him because he's an asshole...and now there are legit questions about steroid use hanging over him. If it's a race issue...that's news to me.

To be fair...he was out for a year. To be realistic...both of these guys are capable of having good matches when it's well laid out for them...but just giving them 20 minutes and saying go is recipe for disaster.

I saw it earlier today. It ranked immediatly with The Patriot and Spiderman and Ransom as the worst movies I've ever sat through.

It's nothing to do with who's more evil or who's stronger...it's simply the woman controlling the man, they may be vampires but those rules still hold true....the same goes for Spike and Dru, but with them it was on the surface, there was no hideing the fact that Dru ruled Spike's world....but Darla and Angelus were different, Spike was a mama's boy who needed to be dominated and that's what he found in Dru. Angelus was different, and Darla had to make him think he was the one with the power...but she was pulling his strings, she could leave him to an angry mob to save her own skin and he'd come right back to her...even after he got his soul he tried everything to get her to accept him back...that's power. You're speaking of manipulation and love. I'm not. I was talking about physical power. Specifically the whole three-way thing. My point is that if Angelus wanted them both at once he could've easily had them. Whatever emotional power Darla held over him wouldn't stop that. And when you think about it, he had power over her as well. She left the Master for him and even tried to help him become a monster again when he got his soul back. It's not just a one-way thing. And physically there was no way in hell that Spike was subservient to Dru. Emotionally, yes. But physically, he could do whatever he wanted to her. He could not have easily held down and had his way with two vampires. He's stronger than one...not both

There was an AJ Styles interview recently (which I can't seem to find right now) where he was asked about the RoH stuff. He wasn't exactly tap dancing over the situation...but his response pretty much put down the idea that he was mad enough to push or question it at this point, in my mind. So I think that situation is pretty much settled. On this topic...when I read about this initially a few weeks back...the story was that they wanted to do this for the shows they booked their talent on. That way...it makes some sense since there's probably and agent fee of some kind...and it probably usually comes out of the talent's end (which this wouldn't). If it's for every booking...then that's stupid.

Aahh...Happy day.
