No. The last three years he's picked other teams than Buffalo/San Fran. This year he picked Pats/Eagles and came real close.
-
I did not see that coming. I had seen the first two eps, and had the last two on tape so I avoided this thread until I watched them last night. Holy crap...this is my new favorite show on TV (and this time...FOX can't cancel it!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA)

Vlad signed a 5 year 70 million dollar contract. -
"Not enough hockey." That's because no one watches it. It gets ratings that would get wrestling kicked off of cable...and that's in the playoffs.
-
There numbers are identical. Since that's the case, I'd rather the tiebreaker be success and not popularity.
-
I would add that both teams finished last year with the same record...and Denver has a MUCH tougher road to go in the West than Cleveland does in the East to make the playoffs.
-
I get that argument...but I point to the playoffs as the line in the sand. On one side of the line...it doesn't matter where you finish because you can't win it all. On the other side...Melo's team made it. If this was a year where one guy was clearly better than the other...then that's fine. But what we've got here are two guys in a statistical dead heat...one of whom was the leading scorer on a team that made the playoffs...and the other who is the bigger star because dominating kids in high school is better than dominating men in college as a freshman.
-
Of course...2 people on ESPN.com have said they'd still pick Lebron...and neither gave a reason.
-
If it happens...it's a joke.

And the unsoppable force that is VLAD!!!!!!
-
Well...I think he did play the game right. It's off the field and the occasional spike to the gut that were wrong. But the way he'd maufacture runs out of fear would have been an amazing game watching experience.

Him and most other great players like him. Cobb killed someone and was a huge racist. Ruth was a womanizing drunk. They just didn't live in the media age. And it's good that they didn't...or Cobb would have been in and out of jail. Now that I think of it...I wish Ty Cobb played now...that would be interesting.

I like Bonds. I like him because he's the best player to play the game in my lifetime. And I respect that. Other than my personal favorite players like Vlad and Ichiro...he's the only player in the game that I get real excited to see step up to the plate. So I guess that makes me a fan.

I liked Tough Enough season 1. The problems started when they picked Nidia over Taylor...who was CLEARLY more talented in every possible way.

SD! Title Hunt-Who deserves to be there?
The Ghost of bps21 replied to reign's topic in The WWE Folder
Eddy should wrestle faces. Since the pushing of Bradshaw pretty much means they are counting on Eddy to draw by himself...I see no reason to keep up the face vs. heel charade. Make Eddy the "fighting champion" who faces guys like Rey, RVD, Booker...anyone who's popular on either side of the heel/face spectrum. -
At this point I believe that he's gone. They were putting a lot at risk by signing anything with TNA. If I had to vote in that poll...I'd vote somewhere between 2 and 3. I believe he's gone...but A: TNA doesn't know for sure and B: Even if they did, they still don't want those guys working for RoH. A makes B very convenient for them. So I guess I'm actually closer to voting #3.

I found this interesting from today's observer update: The net is split pretty much right down the middle on this situation: --In the latest poll regarding the ROH/TNA situation, here were the results 1) Believe that Rob Feinstein is still with ROH and TNA is only protecting its business interests 36.3% 2) Believe that Rob Feinstein is not with ROH, but TNA doesn't know that and is only protecting its business interests 28.0% 3) Believe that TNA doesn't want its talent working ROH shows and is simply using the Feinstein controversy as a convenient p.r. way of handling it 35.7%

"Its not the be all to end all, but its what they needed to do for the state" This goes right back to my feelings about the fans and how they should be responsible for holding them to higher standards. It also leads to the ridiculous nature that RoH has with being completely dumfounded that there word isn't good enough for everyone.

The correct answer is the Padres.

WWE wont let OVW wrestler fight TNA wrestler
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Uh, JMA, if TNA wants to survive for a period of time, the WWE viewing them as a threat isn't in their best interests. -=Mike I agree with this 100% wholeheartedly. Furthermore...I bet the only reason anyone in WWE cares at all is because TNA had people sign those contracts. My money says JR or some other talent scout wanted to look into Trinity or Abyss (it HAS to be a big guy or a chick...you know it HAS to) and found out that there were actually people they couldn't sign. And that's the end of that. -
I'm not pro-anything on this anymore. It certainly doesn't benefit me in anyway that these guys can't work RoH anymore...since I watch RoH...and now they won't be there. So...I'm against TNA on that. On the other end however, I'm finding it hard to just take what RoH says at face value at this point. Gabe is right, they did mishandle things those first few days. But they haven't really stopped mishandling things since then as regards to the RF situation. I understand that most of there fan base is uberloyal and they can get away with that...but the sheer idea that it completely confounds them that anyone could question them to the point of lashing out...is ridiculous. What buble world do they exist in where they can't get a read on what's going on outside? In summation...TNA should give RoH back there wrestlers...and RoH should stop pretending that there shit doesn't stink just because they tell us it doesn't. I believe RF is gone. The signing of the paper (which should have been more than enough for TNA to back of) settles that for me. But Good Lord...If they aren't hiding something...they are the worst public relations people EVER.
-
The fact that Doug signed that peice of paper is about as definitive of proof as you're gonna get IMO. The only problem is that who's running RoH, or at least the terminology used to describe it seems to change whenever the issue is pushed.
-
I'll try my hand at the Bills later. Football is much harder than other sports for sheer size of roster.
-
I'll second the "it costing $0.00" idea. Eddy vs. Bradshaw...Cena vs. Dupree...Angle not working...Taker probably squashing Booker T...RVD and Charlie Hass locked in the feud no one cares about... Rey vs. Chavo will be good...just like the last dozen times.
