The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

I don't buy it. The only way I could buy Willow being on board with it...is if Buffy had been pressuring her to use magic a lot during the season. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

There were two moments in season 7 that were built up to throughout the season. 1. Buffy getting kicked out. You can find the moment that everyone turns on Buffy (except for Willow...still don't get it) and that leads to her getting kicked out. Dawn's message from Joyce, Xander losing the eye, the SIT's getting killed and being bitches, Wood being told by Buffy that she'd let Spike kill him (siding with Spike basically), Giles having the door slammed on him after she chose Spike over the chip, Anya wanting to live...and Buffy always choosing to put them in danger. 2. Spike seeing Buffy kiss Angel. This was build up to all year, and is my favorite part. Look at Spike...he got his soul to be the kind of thing Buffy could love. And she was the ONLY one who believed in him. Giles and Wood wanted to off him...Xander hates him...Dawn threatens him early in the year due to the attempted rape in season 6. Spike was a good man BECAUSE Buffy wanted him to be...and then the one person who means anything to him rips his heart out to end the second last episode. Then cosider the First and it's toying with Spike. All season long it was hinted that the First had a plan for Spike. It controlled him for a while...and then said "it wasn't time for him yet". So that episode ends with the First manipulating Spike after seeing Buffy/Angel. You go into the last episode seeing that Spike could be a bad guy in the end...and the First could use him to win. But that's where the First fails because Spike is totally in love with Buffy anyway...and couldn't hurt her. And Spike takes out all the ubervamps in the end. The end of the Final episode was something that had been built up since day 1. -
That's great compensation for the Niners...considering they would have gotten nothing without the paperwork error.

What I meant was less about storylines...and more about who they book to feud with each other. Other than Styles/Abyss...I don't remember the last time they booked a feud around two workers that can put on good matches. The last decent in ring feud I can remember was XXX vs. AMW I'd like to see them start booking feuds where the in ring action can be good. Also...the lack of title matches (for all three titles) has been ridiculous. One of the things TNA did well at the beginning was get over how much the wrestlers all wanted to be NWA Champion... Now Raven will say it every week...and that's about it.

That's right cops...go get the BAD guys.
-
That's why I'd like to see them concentrate their efforts on making the XCup a success first and foremost...and then work on fixing their regular shows. Although...the increased in ring action is certainly a step in the right direction. Now...as for the booking...

I wouldn't expect that. At least not right away. If a couple months pass...and suddenly RF is back and things go back to normal after he feels it "blows over"...then you might see some guys make a little noise.
-
It looks like they are loading up 3/17. Anyway...I'm looking forward to the XCup. Should be a nice show to tide me over a few days until WrestleMania.

I gave approval because I couldn't make myself care any less about having another folder that I don't go into at the bottom of the page. In fact...I still don't care even with all this drama. So...in theory you still have my approval. ... Of course I also couldn't care less if there wasn't a folder that I won't go into at the bottom of the page either... Anyway...I wasn't mislead or lied to or anything...I gave approval because it didn't bother me one way or the other.

I can be in Toronto in 90 minutes. ... I'll bring the coffee...

I agree that he HAS to sell the company. He put up a wonderfull little press release there...but I doubt anything has actually changed in the way they do business.

Russo returned and the tag division went boom. If they are intent on pushing the Naturals...they should put the titles on them and leave them there for a few months.
-
Well...I still think the idea is a great one. I don't expect to see it ever happen...but I still think it's a good idea.

Well... People like RoH...but hate RF and RFVideo. Today is a happy day for those people.

Gabe isn't in the investigation. The sloppy sentence structure says he's his partner in founding RoH and nothing more.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Joss ALWAYS assumes his shows are going to be cancelled. If you look at Buffy the only season they KNEW they wouldn't be cancelled was after season 6....which is also the only one that ended with a cliffhanger. Even on the season 4 commentary he said that they didn't think they'd be canceled that year...but it was always possible. -

Still No New Deal Between RVD & WWE
The Ghost of bps21 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
There's been talk about his contract for 8 months now... I'd say they want him back. -
At the beginning when they were talking about "timothy" they said they thought he was looking for a young girl.
