My local radio had it in the ticker...than they just talked about the contract numbers when the show came back from break.

Todd Wade of Miami to Houston Five years, 25 million 10 mil bonus. Kearse to Eagles 8 years, 66 million (don't know bonus)
-
Jevon Kearse to Philadelphia

Sting will be back sooner than later with Luger around. Possibly tonght. Of course...now that you say it...I too have an interest in Sting vs. Abyss. Also Sting vs. Raven.
-
But they still weren't a bad team last season. That's my point. You act like they finished 117 out of 117 and was only in the National Title game b/c they paid off the BCS. I don't want to get into another OU debate. They didn't win the National Title and they finished 3rd in the Nation. We'll pick this up next season. No...I act like they finished THIRD heading into the Title game. PERIOD. You are so overdramatic. THIRD out of 117. Great...but not deserving of the title game.
-
Boy...do I wish the partners were going to be...D-lo and Northcutt. Not only would it make sense storyline wise...but it doesn't include Lex Luger.
-
My point was OBVIOUSLY about last season when they got blown by the media until they got blown out.
-
Click on the DVDVR Story thread and then click the link from there.
-
Maybe if OU didn't blow every game when there was actually something on the line last year the media wouldn't have turned on them. Besides..."hating OU" last year IN YOUR OPINION was stating that they didn't deserve to be in the Championship Game. *looks how things played out* Yep.

I assume it's Simon and River. Also...it's odd that they didn't list Wash and Book...since really...I think those two would be the easiest to commit.
-
Well...I think I'll go see it... Actually...I think I'll go see it several times. FUCK FOX. HAIL UNIVERSAL!
-
I'm pretty sure its Kuishinbo Kamen and Ebessan. Isn't today the day they were booked for TNA?
-
Without commenting on the actual situation... RoH would be a smart investment by someone. They have a smart business model...and they turn a profit. The problem is...they turn a profit largely based on selling through RFVideo...a name which may soon become a huge liability. The wrestling company...good. The tape maker...bad. So really...what's changed?

Here's from the firefly movie fan site: "March 2, 2004 IT'S OFFICIAL!! The movie has been greenlighted! Our big damn heros will be returning. Chris Buchanan of President of Mutant Enemy posted a copy of the article from Variety on the OB [WARNING 7th paragraph is a bit spoilerish]: "Daily Variety for publication 3-03-04 http://www.variety.com/article/VR111790108...egoryid=13&cs=1 Whedon's 'Serenity' greenlit U moves forward on sci-fi spinoff By GABRIEL SNYDER Universal Pictures has greenlit "Serenity,'' the feature film based on Joss Whedon's Fox TV series "Firefly,'' which was canceled in late 2002 after just 11 episodes. Deals are in place for Whedon to direct and for the original cast of the TV show to reprise their roles. Pic, budgeted in the mid-eight figures, is skedded for a June start and should be ready for a 2005 release. After Fox pulled the plug on "Firefly," Whedon struggled to continue the project, speaking with other nets and cablers about the skein, then finally turning to studios about a feature version. U acquired the feature rights from Fox last fall. Whedon said the pic will be released under the title "Serenity" to give it some distance from the TV version. "It was important that people understand that the movie isn't the series," he said. "The movie is bigger, more epic than anything you can do in a series." To that end, he said he went out of his way while penning the "Serenity" script to make sure that it is accessible to auds who never tuned into "Firefly." "You're not going to bring people into a movie if you're explaining all the time what happened before," Whedon said. Series was a space oater set 500 years in the future, tracking the journeys of the crew aboard the Serenity. Forthcoming pic is set about six months after the TV show left off, and centers on two passengers on board the ship who attract trouble to the crew. The studio has closed a deal with Nathan Fillion to return as Capt. Malcolm Reynolds. Other original cast members Gina Torres, Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher and Summer Glau are also in place. Barry Mendel is producing the pic. Chris Buchanan of Mutant Enemy, Whedon's shingle, and Mendel exec Alissa Tager are exec producing. Overseeing the project for U is vice chair Mary Parent. Date in print: Wed., Mar. 3, 2004, Los Angeles I can't even begin to express how happy this makes me. Now it's time for us all to start spreading the word and turn ourselves into movie marketing machines. Check back soon for movie specific guerilla marketing ideas. "

This is really dumb. It's the equivalent of someone telling me a movie was good...and then reading a good review...and then me going out and telling everyone how good the movie was. It doesn't make it wrong...but my opinion certainly isn't valid.
-
This is ridiculous. A criticism can't be valid if you don't watch what you're criticizing. It can be accurate...but not valid. This is why the english language has more than one word in it. Everyone who watches it and says this...they're opinion is VALID. Anyone who doesn't and has an accurate take on what's going on...that's great...but it lacks validity.

Actually the NWA Wildside World Champion. He pulled double duty in the past week as a jobber, losing to Simon Diamond on this weekend's Xplosion. Ah...but he falls short of the Chad Collyer streak! Collyer played a doctor on RAW (Monday), worked a dark match on SD (Tuesday), and was in an X battle Royal on TNA (Wednesday) Onyx was close...but it'll take more to topple Dr. Chad Collyer.

I've been trying to figure out the order for a while now... I give up. I think the cruiser open will be first, and the three way will be last. Everything in between...who knows? There was a women's match between Hogan/Rock and the Title match at 18.

The latest on the highly anticipated show... After months of speculation, the WrestleMania XX card seems to finally be taking shape and looks as follows: WWE Title Match Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle World Title Match Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels WWE US Title Match The Big Show vs. John Cena World Tag Team Titles Match Booker T & RVD vs. TBA Cruiserweight Battle Royal Participants: Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, Shannon Moore, Paul London, Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, Akio, Sakoda, Jamie Noble, Nunzio, Kidman Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg The Undertaker vs. Kane Chris Jericho vs. Christian Randy Orton & Batista vs. The Rock & Mick Foley Sable & Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler & Jackie Gayda Despite hints on RAW, the plan right now is not to add a Vince McMahon vs. Eric Bischoff match to the card. Shane & Stephanie McMahon also are not expected to wrestle or have any other on TV role. With ten matches, many high profile names are not included on the card. Some of which include: Ric Flair, Hardcore Holly, Billy Gunn, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, The Bashams, A-Train, Matt Hardy, Scott Steiner, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, Bradshaw, Faarooq, Rhyno, Garrison Cade, Mark Jindrak, Hurricane, Test, Val Venis, Lance Storm, Rico, Matt Morgan, Orlando Jordan, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stambolli, Spike Dudley, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Lita, Victoria, and Jazz. Maven and Edge won't work WMXX. The Dudley Boyz are also not scheduled but could end up facing Booker T & RVD for the World Tag Team Titles. Credit: PWTorch Newsletter Add to that I just read somewhere that they were thinking of doing something like Rikishi & Scotty vs. APA vs. TWGTT for the SD! Tag titles (which I can totally see since it gets WWE favorites Rikishi and Bradshaw on the show in the least offensive way possible) Plus...you just know Trish' role will be played in Jericho/Christian anyway, and Flair will be ringside with Evolution. Basically...if RVD and Booker do end up on the card...I can live with who's being left off.

Poor Lance. 0-3 trying to get on WrestleMania. He was on Heat before Mania 18...Even with Mania in Canada...he couldn't make the show.
