updated rumored WrestleMania card
The Ghost of bps21 replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in The WWE Folder
"4. I haven't been up on my internet wrestling rumors, so tell me why everyone says Goldberg is going to leave after WM?" Because he doesn't have a contract. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
I liked Doyle because in the beginning he was the only character that wasn't a Buffy character. Then they killed him and brought in another Buffy character to take his place. Thankfully they finally got their own characters at the end of season 1 with Gunn, then the next year with Lorne and Fred. -
The only way I was for it was when it was Hogan. After him you're just stuck with people that have Zero redeeming qualities...as opposed to the half a quality Hogan has left.
-
I voted for him last time. I'm proud to say that since the election was held up until Florida was recounted...Nader...he hung on for a long time!

1. No Chyna makes me happy. 2. They have to stop telling the PPV people they plan on a show until they have signed contracts. OR EVEN BETTER...don't use those wrestlers. You want to get the wrestlers faith in you back? Tell them you're going to go ahead with the show and showcase their talent. Nash/Hogan/Savage...they aren't TNA. Styles/Sabin/Raven...that's TNA. Run the show with Raven beating Jarrett for the title in the Main Event. You might not get as many buys as you would with Hogan...but there's a better chance that your show won't suck and people will actually like the product. 3. I always figured that the wrestlers would like Russo. He tries to get everyone over, and when he's in control...you collect a paycheck for 4 minutes of work.

I'd vote for Edwards

Latest On How TNA Is Doing Financially
The Ghost of bps21 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in TNA Wrestling
A couple things to comment on from the thread: 1. Dave O'Neill was banned...so you can come back now. 2. Say what you want about ICP...but they are the only people on the roster that you can actually claim with any certainty are bringing fans in to the Asylum. 3. The people running Panda Energy probably didn't just buy TNA on a whim (and if they had they'd have been dropped already). These probably aren't stupid business people. They had to know going in that it was a long term project...and I believe Dixie Carter has said as much when they bought TNA. -
Well...I hate Mel Gibson with the Passion of the Christ...and don't want him to get a penny from me... So...I'll download it because I like the guy playing Jesus.

Here's my take on all the video game magazines I can think of: EGM: Went to hell after they changed format. Their reviews used to be awesome to read...now it's just brief comments. GI: I don't think they play the games either. GMR: I don't hate GMR...but it's just not an entertaining read. Official Playstation Magazine: If a game is average...it's getting ****. The Scott Keith of Game reviews. PSM: I like their format...but I wish there was more to the magazine. reviews/previews...and suddenly I'm at the codes section already. Official XBox magazine: Entertaining read...but they are such elitists it grates on you. Their reviews are an interesting mix of dead on and "way off because we hyped it and/or Microsoft paid a lot of money for this shitty Rare game" XBN: Them I hate. Why would they decide to make an XBox magazine when the people there CLEARLY hate the Xbox. They gave the game Rocky and Batman: The rise of Sin Tzu the same score as Knights of the Old Republic (7/10). GamePro: I never liked Gamepro...and I still think their scoring system is stupid...but they changed format for the MUCH MUCH MUCH better IMO. Play: It's nice that they give all their coverage to more ubscure titles...and not the big liscenced ones...but if they put a game on their cover...you can be assured it's getting an A- or better. Regardless of final quality.

Bah. She was asking for it. Strutting around the farm wearing nothing but those blinders.

It's not the mods. I'm like that cool teacher you all had in school. The kind who hooked you up with booze and hit on the hot senior girls. You're the only one who doesn't take themselves in this fantasy land role so seriously. If that were true I'd have banned a lot of people in the last 2 years.

Oh...so you could still tell who Loss was after the name change? hmm...I guess there's a difference there between his and all the changes you wanted to make on a daily basis. The point of taking away name changes is, as Dames said in the mod folder: You can't tell who anyone is anymore. It's a rule that was only put in place BECAUSE of you Banky...so I exibhit no surprise that you started a thread to bitch about Loss dropping half his screen name.

DVD X Copy Ordered Off The Market Judge sides with the studios, agrees that the DVD copying software violates DMCA. February 20, 2004 - A Federal court has ordered 321 Studios to stop making and selling DVD X Copy, its DVD copying software tool that would allow a personal computer owner to make perfect copies of a DVD. "This court enjoins plaintiff 321 Studios from manufacturing, distributing, or otherwise trafficking" in the software, Judge Susan Illston of U.S. District Court in San Francisco, wrote in her ruling, issued Friday afternoon. Illston has given 321 one week to stop selling its DVD copying software. 321 plans to appeal the case and as part of its appeal, the company said it would seek to stay the ruling so it can continue selling its software, which comes in three different versions and is sold through major retailers like CompUSA. The studios and their trade group, The Motion Picture Association of America, which spearheads studio anti-piracy efforts, sued 321 under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which protects copyright holders from illegal copying of movies, music, books and TV shows. 321 Studios had argued its software protected DVD owners because it gave them the ability to make copies in case their original DVDs were destroyed. The studios had countered that 321's software circumvented the CSS encryption codes that protected the DVDs from being copied and therefore violated the DMCA. Illston agreed with the studios. "It is the technology itself at issue, not the uses to which the copyrighted material may be put," she wrote in her ruling. DVD X Copy is a powerful program, capable of making a perfect duplication of a DVD movie, and its more advanced versions, like DVD X Copy Platinum, allow you to copy only the movie and omit the extras on the disc. To make a dual layer movie fit onto a single layer DVD-R or DVD+R disc, DVD X Copy can compress the video down to fit on the blank media. An MPAA attorney told Reuters that after the appeal, the MPAA would seek damages against 321, which could include all of 321's profits. I got this off of IGN's site.

Today, in an extremely rare occassion, I root for Toronto. Come on Leafs! Beat Montreal!!! If Toronto and Buffalo both win (Sabres at Islanders), the Sabres will be only ONE point out of 7th and 8th place in the playoffs. Screw the movie...that would be a miracle.

The hell's a LAN party? The long answer: A gathering where a bunch of people hook up their PCs to play multiplayer games like Quake. The short answer: A party with no girls

What are you talking about? ALL THEY EVER SAY is Main EVent of WrestleMania 20. HHH says it all the time. IT's ALL he says. I've heard it far more on RAW than on SD where they also say "Main Event of WrestleMania 20".
-
The story is NOT Benoit's title chase. They've made it very clear on RAW that the most important things in order are: 1. HBK finally ending his feud with HHH. 2. HHH is being screwed by having to face 2 men. 3. Benoit wants to win the title. He's been overshadowed since the moment he set foot on RAW.

"LOOK NOBODY BUGS ME ABOUT USING ALL CAPS ON CRAZYMAX." Well...it looks like you'll be spending a little more time there now. You were told very simply not to do it again. And here we are. Well...here I am anyway. I'm suspending you for a week. Next week...we'll try this again. "BESIDES I'VE BEEN A MEMBER SINCE FEBRUARY 9,2OO2." ...so? This means nothing...and now means even less since you've referenced it.

Latest On How TNA Is Doing Financially
The Ghost of bps21 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in TNA Wrestling
They've always lost money. That doesn't mean that Panda is ready to pull the plug. I can't be the only person who read this and said "Wow...they have a plan to at least lose LESS money..." Actually...of course I am. This folder has been having a going out of business party for TNA since week 8. Well...Week 82 and counting. -
So HBK has been injured this entire time...well before it was neccessary to put him in the Mania match...and they STILL wouldn't do it one on one?
-
Your hints would seem to lead to Hurricanrana... but since I believe in the laws of physics...I decline to answer.

I own all three systems and the ratio of game buying has been something like 5:1:1 for XBox:PS2:GC. I buy more GBA games than GC or PS2 games at this point.

Just finished watching a heart attack inducing Sabres-Lightning game. Sabres had a 2-0 lead after 2, then the Lightning scored early in the 3rd, and Satan scored his second to put the Sabres up 3-1. Then with under two minutes left and on the power play the Lightning pull their Goalie and they score again to pull within one. Then with 50 seconds left and the Goalie pulled...Tampa scored again to tie it and send it to OT. The Sabres seemed to blow a much needed point...until Briere scored with a little over a minute left in OT to give the Sabres their first OT win ALL YEAR (1-1-6 in OT) and save the point. Some finish to that game...thankfully giving Tampa a point doesn't hurt Buffalo.

I would contend that using the handle as a positive for the GC is even sillier than using the size of Xbox as a negative. Besides...GC hasn't gotten a game worth transporting my system to the ON position in so long...
