I don't know why...but until it happens...part of me will always want to see Hogan vs. Jarrett. I have no real reason...just that it was supposed to main event two pay per views in two different companies...and it's never happened.

Ironically...I once planned to order a WWA ppv to see Savage face Jarrett (which didn't happen cause Savage went crazy and demanded millions)... I ended up ordering it anyway...and that was the first time I found out who AJ Styles was. It all comes full circle in a terrible, terrible match.

I forsee HHH pinning HBK at Mania. Then going on to face Benoit the next month in Edmonton.

What Killings really represented to the beginnings of TNA was the idea that they would put the title on someone that fans wanted to see. At the time (and really...still to this point) the WWE doesn't do that very often. When Killings got hot right away, his push represented a difference between TNA and the WWE. The first mistake that TNA made in their booking was putting the title on Shamrock. He was the most WWE-esque guy on the roster, except for Hall. They got away from that philosophy when Jarrett won the title...but it was at least built up well...and Jarrett's title matches were made to feel like bigger deals. They do deserve credit for putting the title on AJ...but since Jarrett won it back they've been clueless with the strap. Jarrett never defends it...and no one cares about it at this point.

Well...you'd have to go back to when Jericho was a face...since heels aren't usually put in the same situations (except for special cases like HBK in the first HIAC with Taker). I remember back in 2000 Jericho was great at it. The Last Man Standing with HHH stands out in my mind as a great near death selling performance.

Maybe psychology but after watching HBK's selling job at the Royal Rumble as well as back at the Survivor Series I'd have to saying no to the selling part. Shawn stumbling around, spaghetti-legged, covered in blood, with the look in his eyes like he's out on his feet but still telling HHH to keep it coming was a pretty incredible visual. I haven't seen Jericho do anything better. Until he inevitebly no sells everything like Hogan circa...well...always. Kip up. And Jesus has cured his ills.

It's interesting that you bring up Styles. Last year a lot of the TNA guys were in Buffalo for a show after a Bisons game...and the opening match was Styles vs. Kid Kash. I had never seen Styles wrestle in person before...but it became very obvious, very quickly that Styles didn't know how to work a crowd at all. Kash was great at it. It's good that Styles is as good as he is... If only we could combine the wrestling ability of Styles with the charisma of Killings and the mic work of Jim Mitchell. We'd really have something.

I remember his Storm match on Heat...what I remember most was that he worked both Heat and RAW that week. It possibly is the Jerry Lynn Heat match WAYYY back in 2001. I know he hasn't missed a show due to injury...but I wonder if he was kept off to sell one...possibly during the Kane feud? I seem to think there was a show he was kept off to sell injuries. That is the only way to get him to sell it, right?

Face Kurt BOMBED and the blantant stupidity of turning Kurt into the very character he was originally a deft parody of led to departure of fans. He was so awful as a face that they had to interject RVD the next month in the hope that he could draw a buyrate with a face who was... you know... over. THEY KNEW THAT BEFORE 9-11. THEN somehow they put the title on him for two weeks. You're point only strengthens mine. So...thanks I guess.

Why would they boo for Orton... while Foley's betaing the crap out of him? The question then is...why wouldn't they boo Orton when he laid out Foley earlier? Or when he cut off HBK during the match three times? Of during his enterance? Or at all? Because he had the advantage on Foley for only about 15 seconds and the crowd hadn't calmed down from Foley coming out yet. I mean if you listen to the, the pop for his arrival never subsides when Orton takes control briefly. I'm talking about the "You are my bitch" segment. His enterance for the match. The match. Any of it. The guy is not over.

And he's in a group with HHH and FLAIR...and still isn't fucking over. Good point. If there are run ins...this could get down right hilarious.

How many legends will appear in this Orton match to try and get a recaction? HBK? Check. Austin? Check. Foley? Almost certainly a check.

Every Randy Orton match presents the pro Orton sect with an opportunity to show that Orton is actually over. And every match goes by with no such luck.

AAAHHH!!! I just realized that there's probably going to be a Stacy/Jackie vs. Sable/Torrie match of some kind at Mania when Sable/Torrie are announced as the playboy tag team...and Stacy/Jackie aren't. MY BRAIN!!!!!!!! IT HURTS!!!!!!!!!!
