It's being over on a messageboard. It's the equivelent of Anglesault.

We're not the fans that the WWE is trying to get talking about Orton. The reason is we'll buy/not buy whether we like what's going on or not.

I remember when the talk around these parts was that 2001 was a career rebirth for Austin coming off of his injury. He left a trail of great matches that year (some overrated like vs. HHH at No Way Out) some just plain great live vs. Benoit in Edmonton.

That doesn't work. Given that no effort has gone in to getting us over...we're actually better off than Orton is. It's like how I got as many electoral votes as Ross Perot did...but didn't spend the money.

Most people here liked Orton once. Ironically it was when he was injured and doing RNN updates.

Oh...well AS doesn't count. I hate Orton too...but he can go over HBK every day of the week for all I care. There are few people that are more worthless in my eyes than Orton...and HBK leads the pack. I could live with him if he just came out, waved to fans and laid down...but somehow instead of that I get: Goes over everyone, wins major feud against Jericho and somehow will find way into Benoits title shot at Mania.

I think he's a face now. He's whatever Victoria is that show.

No...people complain about Orton. I can't see how anyone cares that HBK jobs...its something he should do more of.

Stevie actually got pretty over with his Heat gimmick until the WWE writing staff realized he got himself over and made him stop.

The whole "Austin/Lesnar money match" thing is a little hard for me to swallow. Sure he was slated for his monster push...and sure he eventually got over... But at the time he was coming off of a 2 month Hardy boy feud (his first 2 months in the WWE) and the whole point of the match was for Eddy to screw Austin and put heat on their upcoming match. I'd argue that since Austin was the face and Brock the heel, having that unclean win as backstory would have only helped a furute Austin/Brock showdown. I can hear the fans now discussing how Brock only beat Austin because of Eddy and how Austin will take him down this time. I can still hear the cash registers ringing at no less a pace than if they hadn't done the match. Brock hadn't become anything yet.

I'm sure HHH would have helped put everyone over. That's what HHH does you know. Too bad he had to miss it.

"Let's focus on making new stars (Cena, Orton, Batista) and we get a "they haven't been here long enough" argument." I don't care what they put out...I'm just saying it doesn't make for an interesting/usefull DVD...nor does it make sense to chronicle what in WWE terms is someones rookie year. "Let's focus on making stars out of veterans/older workers (Angle, Eddy, Benoit, Rey) and we get the "DVD isn't 3 discs" argument." What exactly is the matter with that argument? They have a gazillion hours of footage of all of them. "Let's focus on the old guard helping push the new guys up (Flair, UT, HBK) and we get the "the new stars deserve the DVD" argument" I've never heard that argument. I don't recall one person saying "Yeah...but where's my John Cena DVD" when they were discussing the Flair collection. When the Flair DVD came out and sold like gangbusters the idea of WWE DVD releases got a shot in the arm that excited the buyer and raised the level of expectations. A one disc Cena DVD full of **1/2 matches and his epic feud with the FBI doesn't quite do the job.

I've been saying it for a while. They have enough tag teams around (AMW, Diamond/Swinger, Gilberti/Young, Naturals (at least I assume), Reshirts) that 3 live Kru should be destroyed. Let Konnan do the spanish commentary. Turn Truth on James and let him destroy him and give him a push. Truth isn't a great worker by any stretch...and there are people who talk better than him in the company...but no one else in TNA (And I can't stress this enough) NO ONE ELSE IN TNA has as much natural charisma as he does. That doesn't = talent. Wheras someoen like CM Punk could be given a push and it would work based on his talent with the mic and in the ring...Truth has the undefinable quality that makes people genuinly care when he's doing something worth caring about. But that's the catch. Someone like Punk is better all around than Truth. So is it worth pushing someone like Truth who's matches aren't going to be classics, and who's storylines need to keep him as the focus? I'm an admitted Truth mark...so I'm all for it...but it may just not be worth the effort.

I kind of like the Styles shirt...but his XStyles shirt is better...and they don't have that.

They put them out those out themselves and can only be bought on the website. Same with everything else they sell. I assume these will be available in card shops...making it special among other TNA products.

The collector in me (the part of me that spends all the money so the rest of me is broke) wants them all...just because they exist. The rest of me just sits in wait of an announcement for a TNA video game.

I want it...and I didn't even like the movies.

And those DVDs blew as well. If the WWE was so concerned about focusing on new stars...well...the product would look a lot different.

Those people have careers to draw from that last well over a little over a year.

Anyone who's followed him on a weekly basis will have seen everything that the DVD has anyway.
