What is the payoff to Foley's storyline again? To put Foley over?...no wait that's not it... I know it's in here somewhere.
-
I enjoyed the SD! Rumble almost as much as the actual one. That was one well booked enjoyable match.
-
I know they'll edit them for DVD release. Sometimes they find new angles (for stuff like Kane's super safe piledriver) or Jericho/Rhyno a couple years ago...they'll just cut stuff.
-
To be fair...Orton on RAW last week was in the opening match (which ran two segments IIRC), then had a promo in the back to start the next segment. Then was in the Main Event interview. That's about a third of the show.
-
I wonder if there's anyone on the board who will say "Orton is good" and actually mean it. I mean...the Orton supporters really only say "he's getting better" or "you haters go too far". It's still true that his back to back ** matches without heat do not a push warrant.

It's just due to how big a star he is. The Titans that were involved with TNA week 4 were in more danger of getting hurt...one of them even took a chair shot. Urlacher got fake punched (which he no sold) ducked, clotheslined 2 people and through a 150 pound guy out of the ring. If it were someone who's jersey's didn't sell...it wouldn't have been news.

I don't care if there's a ladder or not. Shawn Michaels doesn't belong in that match. What a crappy idea. Win the Rumble...get your spotlight stolen.

I thought I was the only one who actually grew to dig Northcutt. Our ranks have doubled!!!

Urlacher's Appearance to be on ESPN today
The Ghost of bps21 replied to tpww7's topic in TNA Wrestling
PTI mentioned it today. They didn't mention TNA by name but they showed the footage. On the plus side they didn't make fun of it. -
So winning the Rumble can net you what? A place in a 3 way gimmick match with the surviving Kliq members? WOOPEE!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'm gonna need to be pointed in the direction of your explaination. It doens't make sense...as saying "I could care less" not only indicates that there exists a level beneath your amount of caring for you to care about whatever...but it also fails to indicate just how much less you could care. Saying "I could care less" could actually be taken as "I care about this more than anything" as there are no parameters set. Saying "I couldn't care less" lets everyone know what you mean.

I never made a full list. I will though.

Urlacher's Appearance to be on ESPN today

Around the horn is the most annoying show EVER. -
Why is RVD getting blamed in this thread for something Orton himself admitted was his own fault?
-
If you have pop-up killer running...or if you're brave enough to endure them clickhere I found it at Wrestling Observer's site too...so click this one instead: here This is the TNA related bit: "Sir Adam brings up how Dustin will be teaming up with his dad, Dusty Rhodes, very soon. Dustin said he spoke with Jeff Jarrett last week about coming in with his dad to NWA TNA in Nashville." That's all it says...but seeing as TNA likes to use Dusty every so often...I'd have to imagine this will happen sooner or later, if Dustin is interested.

Abyss vs. Dlo. TNA doesn't do many singles matches between two heavyweights. Aside from Raven and his feuds. It's a rare time when TNA books a match between 2 guys where neither is, has been, or could be in the X division.
-
This week features one of the rare true heavyweight matches that doesn't involve a title.
-
See...he beat his woman. Isn't that the redneck way?
-
I would still get behind Austin vs. Hogan at Mania XX. After that...a match with Goldberg is all there is. It's kind of strange how it worked out with Austin's leaving the company then retiring...that he missed out on the 2 matches that were probably atop the Austin dream match list.

They brought Show in February 1999 on a ten year
-
I read last week that he had it extended until sometime in 2005...but I don't remember where.
-
See...that's the problem. If Watts loses...and says "OK...now I'm a wrestler again" Callis could just fire him. There heading towards a logic flaw...which they've decided to play up by showing vinnettes on Xplosion where Callis says he's going to fire all the good guys when he wins.
-
I'm still not sure what the happens when one is in control. I think I need to watch the episode where Watts explained to me the difference between the NWA and TNA. See...going into his promo I actually knew the difference...but somehow when he was done explaining it...I was lost.

Since the WWE travels for their shows it's going to take a long time. We might be sick of him already...but when they go to Detroit...they'll love it. The next week in Philly they'll love it. The next week in Toronto they'll love it. And it won't ever end.

William Regal close to returning
The Ghost of bps21 replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in The WWE Folder
He fits in better now than he did when he left. The WWE has been moving really hard towards mat work instead of moves. When Orton slaps on 5 minute armbars the day after pretty much every match on the Rumble card was bearhugs and ground transitions...I think the style is changing.
