Main Eventing WrestleMania makes it hard to judge. You can take the blame if it does shitty (Taker/Sid) but if it does great... What'll be more telling is the Backlash buyrate. Since it's a Raw show in Edmonton I'll assume Benoit will be in the main event again. Probably winning the title.

Well...I know the pain of not wanting to pay for coaches as well as anyone. It's amazing that this year we can see two masterful coaching jobs done by Fox and Belichek...and teams like Atlanta, Buffalo and Oakland still run for the cheap. Oakland needs to do what Buffalo did over three years ago and just cut everyone and eat the problem head on. We cut Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed and Bruce Smith on the SAME DAY. Pissed off the fans and went to the tank. (Although...none of those people accomplished anything important to their teams when they left anyway). Now that I think of it...we're still trying to get out of the tank...so maybe that isn't the best idea. Fuck Kevin Gilbride.

It has the potential to lower the buys they do get on Wednesdays too...since they won't be viewed as the centerpiece of the company anymore. Lots of reasons why this won't work. I just like to watch.

I'll wait to see the first one air before I believe they think they can do one every 3 months. The first one was supposed to air in November! Let me think...3 months would put their shows in April, July, October, January. April is Backlash (RAW)...which is usually crap. July is Vengeance (SD)...was great last year. October is No Mercy (SD)...blah last year. January is Rumble (both)...and that's always killer.

It's about time someone thought about taping some weeks. It saves so much money it's ridiculous that they don't do it. Plus...the February 11th show will get more buys than their live week to week shows anyway. Knowing that everyone will know the results ahead of time can actually work to their advantage if they put on a couple matches those weeks that people know will be good.
