The Smartmarks Official Video Game Awards
The Ghost of bps21 replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in Video Games
Oh...and Deus Ex 2 was a good one too. Add KOTOR to that, and the fact that every non EA game is just a better purchase on the box...and I can't find where PS2's outdated hardware and mediocre game releases consitute best console again this year. This is like last year where GC had Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime and a bunch of other games I liked...and PS2 had...um...CONSOLE OF THE YEAR! -

Do you play online? Cause...Project Gotham 2, Rainbow Six 3 and Crimson Skies have monopolized all my game time the last few months (except for taking a couple days to beat Max Payne 2 and Beyond Good and Evil) -
I agree. Furthermore...it means we pretty much give up that right too. I stopped caring about Jericho's misuse as soon as he resigned with the company. At that point you KNOW what you are signing up for, and I don't feel sorry for you anymore.

Just picked up a GameCube...

Memory Cards needed for any and all saves. Games to get (and can be gotten cheap now too): Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Super Monkey Ball 2, Animal Crossing, Resident Evil/ Resident Evil 0 -
It was a stupid idea from Russo. They were never going to break up...but Russo thought that teasing one would get them more over when they stayed together. Instead it took all their heat away.

That's just how I sounded until I got an Xbox. Gamecube offered me nothing this year. PS2 gave me Manhunt. I play Xbox hours a week. -

I'm gonna go nuts if PS2 wins best console again this year. Last year I think GC had the best year, and I think this year Xbox did. -
RVD would be a big indy draw...but he makes ALOT more in WWE than Raven did. RVD actually worked ppvs and high on the card for house shows. Raven got nothing.

Mike Barton was good when he was in for two weeks.

Dusty comes and goes. I've been waiting on an AMW heel turn for some time...as I think it would both freshen them up...and be pretty cool. Their long title chase should be the catalyst for the turn

You don't need a liscence to sell video games. You need to make a good game to sell video games.

So...like... when WWE releases all the guys they release... do their families all die?

Many of you who purchased the Ultimate Ric Flair Collection DVD may have noticed that upon removing the protective sticker on the packaging, the artwork for the back of the Collection's digipax became ripped. A special phone number has been set up by WWE Home Video to order replacement digipaks at 203-352-8600 ext 1022. Those who wish to get a new one for their DVDs can call and leave their name, address, and phone number and they will send one out in the mail. Reader Alex Morales sent along a link to the trailer for the upcoming Mick Foley's Greatest Hits & Misses: A Life In Wrestling DVD. It looks absolutely awesome. According to the trailer, it will include over 5 hours of Foley matches. From clips on the DVD, WWF matches you will see at least in part include The Hell in the Cell with Foley vs. The Undertaker, Foley vs. Triple H at Royal Rumble 2000, Foley vs. Steve Austin from Over the Edge, Foley's WWF championship win over The Rock in Worcester, MA, and Foley vs. Funk from Raw is War. WCW matches that are showcased in the trailer are the entire Cactus Jack vs. Vader series from 1993, Sting vs. Cactus Jack at WCW Beach Blast '92 and Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne vs. The Nasty Boys at WCW Spring Stampede 94. The Foley DVD will also feature, for the first time on a WWE release since they purchased the assets of Extreme Championshp Wrestling, ECW footage of Cactus Jack vs. Sabu (matches from the ECW Arena in 6/94 and Hamburg, PA in 11/94), Foley's farewell match vs. Mikey Whipwreck from the Big Ass Extreme Bash, Cactus Jack & Whipwreck vs. The Public Enemy from 8/94, Cactus Jack vs. The Sandman in a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match from 6/95, and Terry Funk vs. Cactus Jack from ECW Hostile City Showdown '95. Today is Big Show's two-month anniversary winning
The Ghost of bps21 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I love how certain posters must go into every thread in this folder just looking for either RVD's name or some way to make a comment bad mouthing him. The search won't let you do just 3 letters...so these people must actually read every thread and then rub their hands together cackling "I got him this time!" -
I wanted the deal to get done so I could watch Pedro, Schilling, Arod, Magglio, Foulke et al...lose to the curse again.
-
Abyss is good. I was with you until you bad mouthed Abyss. Now I don't care what you have to say.

I bought Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga for GBA...but can't play it until I get my GBA back from my friend. I bought Pac Man World 2 for GC so I could get Pac Man vs. with it. I bought Beyond Good and Evil for XBox but haven't put it in yet as I'm still playing Deus Ex 2.

Interesting year for my team. Made it: Ruben Brown and Takeo Spikes. How Brown keeps making it (8 straight) on an O-line that hasn't been average in years is beyond me. Spikes was good...but he wasn't even the best LB on the team this year IMO. But London Fletcher isn't even an alternate. Alternates: Sam Adams and Pat Williams. *shrugs* They were good. This is fine. Brian Moorman. SCREWED. Best punter in the NFL. Didn't make it: Fletcher was the best player on the team this year. Antoine Winfield still can't sniff an alternate spot despite his 100 tackles...many of which were for losses. They should make a special category for him since he's never going to pick off the ball...but he's the best tackler and makes more big plays. He's a LB who can cover.

Feds File Complaint Against 'Girls Gone Wild'
The Ghost of bps21 replied to MrRant's topic in Television & Film
"The videos and DVDs feature young women who bare their breasts and perform sexually suggestive acts. Millions of copies have been sold." God Bless America -
here's a slightly more detailed version: Raw received a 3.5 cable rating, with a 5 share. Last week it got close to a 3.8 rating. 1st Hour - 3.3 2nd Hour - 3.7 The highest rated segment on the show ended up getting a 4.6 rating and that included the overrun of Raw. So...the Foley overrun does a 4.6 and the first hour does a 3.3? That is such a ridiculous difference. I wonder why people didn't want to watch Raw? ahem.

hmm...watch 4 hours that i didn't enjoy the first 2 times I saw it... or bang head on desk for a few minutes and get same result quicker... decisions...decisions...

I must have missed that. -
Almost every show is great. And the ones that aren't great are still good.

At the end when the moment they were building up for 2 months finally happened?
