... and that's why the Carolina Panthers should never pass
-
I'm kind of glad that happened. The announcing towards Vick is making me hate him...and I am a big Vick fan. Hell...is there another player in the league that the announcers sit there and talk him through every play calling him by his first name? These guys are making me ill.

If I could kill one person and get away with it...it would be Bills offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride. A monkey sitting in front of two buttons labeled "run" and "pass" could have won the games against Dallas and Houston (where the defense allowed a total of 22 points in 2 weeks...and lost both) and we'd be looking at 8-5 instead of 6-7. The Bills D has been so ridiculously good since the bye week it took a real genius to have lost 3 of the 5 games...

"OU dominated there opponents and embarassed just about all of them" So which is it...are you going to hide behind the BCS since they will go to a championship they shouldn't... OR Are you going to keep talking about their margin of victory...which is no longer factored into the BCS?
-
"But THEY ARE doing it. You're saying it shouldn't happen. But it IS happening" Oh...what a proud champion. *feels like singing team's fight song*
-
You can't see clearly because you're a fan. To me, sending a team that couldn't win their conferance to compete for the national title is like letting the team that loses the Pennant play for the World Series.
-
"So if OU lost to Texas and then crushed K-State in the Conference Championship would people still be crying foul?" No...then they'd be in the same boat as USC and LSU. Everyone who is the champion of their conference raise your hand. Not so fast Oklahoma
-
2 of the 3 problems with the BCS (presuming Oklahoma goes) have been letting teams that didn't win their own conference play for the national title.

Rolling Stones Top Ten Movies of 2003.
The Ghost of bps21 replied to BlackFlagg's topic in Television & Film
Great piece of film history my ass. -
There is a very small drop between #2 and #3... LSU and USC have won their conference championship and there is no doubt they will be #1 and #2 in the Coach's and AP polls.
-
Oklahoma will not be in that game though, Damaramu...
-
I can't see how Oklahoma can be in the championship game now for a few reasons: 1. They didn't win their conference. 2. They lost the last game of the season (and that WILL matter come time for the coach's and AP polls to be submitted to the computer...especially when you look at the score). 3. They didn't win their conference. 4. See #5 5. They didn't win their conference. At least the best player in college may actually win the heisman now.
-
It matters when you lose, just as it always has. This is the WORST possible time to lose. How can Oklahoma be in the championship game...when they didn't even win their conference?

So...for over a year I've called the shows by number...and people have argued that I was wrong because I didn't count certain shows like the X division special or the one cent special...which I refused to count since they were basically repeats. Well..thanks to TNA on demand I have finally been vindicated!!!!!!!!!! When you go to the site and click on the shows in their archive you get the match listings...and now TNA has finally come around to match MY NUMBERING SYSTEM. BOO-YAH!~

I recieved as many emails about how I misnumbered weeks as I did for just about everything else combined. This is a grand day

Somebody sell me on Buffy The Vampire Slayer,

Angel lacks a certain unexplainable quality that drove buffy for years. -
What's the last wrestling tape you bought?

Quantum Leap & Sliders DVDs being worked on!
The Ghost of bps21 replied to BlackFlagg's topic in Television & Film
Quantum Leap is my second favorite show ever. This pleases me. -
5. Crimson Skies 4. Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution 3. Wind Waker 2. Project Gotham Racing 2 1. Knights of the Old Republic The game I play most is Rainbow Six 3...but since I haven't even touched the single player...I wouldn't know how to rank it.

Hillary Clinton won a grammy too. I think I may have one laying around as well...but I didn't attend. The show was beneath me.

London only had a handful of matches in TNA. He made his debut in the X division gauntlet that ended with Lynn pinning London. Then he lost to Kid Kash for the X title. Then he was out for a while with his emergency surgery that kept him out of RoH too. He then lost to Sabin and signed a contract with WWE before his next scheduled show. Punk may have been in that gauntlet, but I don't think he's had an actual X match.
-
I don't think so. Other than interfering in Sabin/London the day he told Julio that he wanted to join the Gathering...I don't think he ever worked in the X division.

One And Only TNA 12/3/03 Thread
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Corey_Lazarus's topic in TNA Wrestling
I think the theory is that they could rent it out to the other local indys that use the fairgrounds as well, and make the money back eventually. It's not the worst idea I've heard...but it really depends on how bad it is to go to the fairgrounds...which we'd have to ask someone from Nashville.
