That wasn't the problem. The problem was...it was like watching one guy dominate. Then the other guy start dominating. Then that's it. It was like they weren't even fighting each other...just picking which half they'd showcase their moves.

I agree with Choken about Rock/Austin. I can't really think of a WWE match this year that I think is really underrated. But I can tell you that the most underrated match I've seen this year is Christopher Daniels vs. Doug Williams from Night of Champions in RoH. How that match is not mentioned as one of, if not the MOTY in RoH is beyond me. I liked it more than London/Dragon, and I even liked it a tad more than London/Styles.

I think the Taker/Cena match is OVERrated if anything. It had very poor flow...and if you look at it...the whole first half of the match was Taker squashing Cena...then Cena finally took over...until Taker kicked out of his finisher and pinned him clean. I've seen squash matches with more momentum switches than this match.

I see 3...but I deduct 2Pac for releasing more albums after death than before. So I count the Beatles and Outkast

December 4th...the 5th HUGE game that my Bowling Green Falcons will play this year. Unfortunately they're 2-2 in the previous HUGE games (Beat Purdue and N. Illinois, lost to OSU and Miami (ohio)) The good news is it's in Bowling Green...and teams don't just walk in and win games in Bowling Green. They can wash away their big loss to Miami and claim the MAC in what has been a big year for the MAC.

Since TNA's intention is to put on a show every wednesday night...and they're still doing that...they are successful enough. Them losing money is only a concern to those who are taking the loss. If they don't care...I don't see why we should. Labeling everything that TNA has done a failure is ridiculous. Are they great? no. Are they good? not always. But they are a paycheck, an opportunity for work...and they even push people that fans like every once in a while.

I don't think anyone is going to disagree with that.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
No one graduated...which is kinda funny. The only person who went to class every day was Tara...and she died before senior year. Oz bailed as a freshman. Buffy died before junior year. Willow probably bould have made it...but the whole school kind of went ka-plooey. -
AJ Styles...vs. Low Ki & Jerry Lynn (non ladder match), also vs. Low Ki for NWA title. Raven...vs. AJ Styles for the NWA title Jeff Jarrett...vs. The Truth for the NWA title Chris Sabin...vs. Juventud (X Cup finals) Jerry Lynn...vs. Styles and Low Ki (non ladder match) Christopher Daniels...w/ Skipper vs. AMW (cage) & America's Most Wanted...vs. XXX (cage)

I don't care about Mechassault... I just wanted to say that I don't think Xbox is at ALL in the same boat as GC in the lack of genres department. KOTR and Morrowind are great RPGs. They obviously have a ton of FPS (Halo), Action Games (GTA 3 and VC, BUFFY!!) and racing games (PGR2...buy it, it owns). Plus...Crimson Skies is great (flying/shooting), and the only fighting game that they really lack is Virtua Fighter. Now...compare that to Nintendo where the last game I bought was...Wind Waker.

I agree that Booker is bad too. I've said that for years now. BUT HE GOT OVER. Booker T: 1 Randy Orton: 0

Quite possibly the best player to ever come out of Buffalo...and the best lefty EVER.

yes I did in fact. if you use a headseat it is even better. You can hear the director through the TV if you don't use the headseat...but it's far better to hear him yelling sadistic things while you're sneaking up on someone right on your ear. Also, if you talk into the mic it makes noise around your character as if he had talked...so you can lure bad guys out of spots when they hear you and then pounce on them.
-
I got it and played it a bit. I'll say this...the game is more terrifying than any survival horror game I've played. Trying to sneak up on guys with weapons is creepy enough...but blowing it and having them come after you...trying to hide in shadows while that guy is right in front of you...praying he doesn't spot you...it's something else.

Yeah... People always say the Godfather is great...so piss on that movie too!

Yeah, I think the plan was to actually have both Truth and Apolo's storylines become about Ricky Steamboat who was playing the commisioner at the time...but budget cutbacks led to Steamboat being taken off the show.

The absence of the second half transitional champ
The Ghost of bps21 posted a topic in The WWE Folder
The WWE had a weird thing going on for a few years where they would put the World title (back when there was only the one) on a NEW (someone who had never won a World title before) person sometime between SummerSlam and the end of the year. If we look back: 1998: Rock/Mankind (November) 1999: HHH (August) 2000: Angle (October) 2001: Jericho (December, or October if you count the WCW title) 2002: Brock Lesnar (August) With only the RAW ppv left...it looks like there won't be an elevation on the Smackdown side...and Kane wouldn't be a new champion even if he did beat Goldberg on the Raw side. What disturbs me is this: 1. Look at the names on that list. They all (except Mankind who is retired) are STILL the top guys that WWE turns to to carry their shows. And yet...this year there won't be a new champion. 2. There are TWO friggin titles, and neither could find their way onto someone new? Anyway...I've always found it interesting that someone gets their first shot with the gold by this time of year. And I find it even more interesting, or sad, that this year there will not be an elevation to the top. -
I think they should try to get him when he becomes available. The one thing TNA always needs is more heavyweights who can work. They should make his storyline about how he has only made a name for himself playing a character and not his own name.

I don't want to see my favorite WWE wrestlers not get the WrestleMania payday this year so that we can see video packages.

Name me another company ANYWHERE where HARDCORE doesn't lead to bloody matches.

That was Monty Brown who dropped Truth on his head.

This just reminded me that Tommy Dreamer's contract runs out the same time RVD's does this year. I know they're trying to sign RVD...but I wonder if Dreamer will be let go too.
